"So, kid. How is your work there in that Ice Land?" Hyousuke asked, drinking the sake sold in the nearby shop. "You mean Kōri. It's really nice. The place is really cold, colder than our winter but everyone's clothing is enchanted with heat magic so you don't get cold" Naoyuki paused, drinking his own cup of sake. "And about my work, I like it. Though there are a lot of caves that we have to explore and Ice ruins before I leave Kōri for the next world I'll be going to" Naoyuki then drank the whole cup of sake. "Why did you choose to become an Archeologist instead of Princess Tsukuyomi's Warrior Prince? You have the power of a warrior, you have a magical ability and you are the cousin of the princess. So, why?" The violent prince asked. "Well, at first I did want to become a Warrior Prince, stay with my mother, and protect our castle. But ever since father chose to stay as an Archeologist and not a prince, he started bringing me to different lands and one of those lands is Kōri. Something about Kōri made me want to stay as an Archeologist and not a Warrior Prince" The Archeologist Prince paused and smiled at the taller man beside him. "Plus, the title of The Warrior Prince of the Nihon Princess suits you better, even if you don't have the same magical ability as mine or you're just Tsukuyomi's first cousin, you deserve the title more than me" They both smiled. Looking at the night sky, admiring the shimmering stars and the pink moon. "Maybe you are right about that" The violent prince chuckled quietly to himself and finished his own cup of sake.
Seconds later, Akiho, the loyal servant, stood in front of Naoyuki. "It's a nice evening for you two, your majesties. But I'm afraid it has to end" The two prince looked at each other with a puzzling expression and looked back towards the woman in blue kimono. "The princess wishes to see the Prince of Asahi Castle" The Archeologist Prince looked towards his older cousin for approval. "Go on. I am sure that Tsukuyomi has her reasons. See you till next week, kid" The violent prince spoke, continue to drink his sake. "She's in her throne room" Naoyuki nodded as a response to the servant. "I expected for the warrior prince to speak ill of the princess for ruining his night with his cousin, I guess you must've matured" The servant placed a smile, mocking the irritated prince. "Shut up, Akiho. Go back to your princess" The servant just laughed and left the prince alone. Though they all grew up together, that servant and the prince never had a great bond though it is obvious they do care for each other. "Stupid servant"
Naoyuki opened the tall red door of Mirai Castle and was greeted by the moon princess resting herself on her throne. Upon seeing her cousin, the princess stood up and straighten her posture. "Good evening, princess" Spoke the prince. "I'd love to know why you called me this late" The prince mentioned. "Oh, yes. It is about Prince Hyousuke. Take this" The princess moved her hand, creating motions and a glimpse of pink light appeared, revealing a huge bouquet of sakura flowers. The prince gladly took it, shocked and happy. But he felt something different about them. They felt powerful. "This is from the sacred tree of Mirai" The prince smiled. "You took care of that tree ever since you were young, are you okay with taking too much of it branches for me? I haven't even done your request yet, princess" The Archeologist Prince spoke with worry and concern. "It's quite alright, Naoyuki. It's a gift for someone special to you and anyone special to my dear cousin, is also special to me" The Princess paused. "I'd love for that Desert Princess to receive that flower. The Sacred Tree of Mirai is the most powerful, spiritually, amongst all sacred trees in Nihon. Flowers of this tree can bring happiness and calmness to certain people and I am sure it would help the princess if she ever feels troubled" They both smiled at each other, giving light to each other's night. "Thank you, Princess" The archeologist hugged his dear cousin. "Anytime you need me" The Princess hugged back. "Now, go back to your quarters and take a good rest, I can smell alcohol on you" They laughed.
The next day, the day the archeologist must leave once again. Currently, late in the afternoon, the sun almost setting. The prince, fully dressed for cold weather, wearing the enchanted clothing the Prince of Kōri provided. Now facing the Princess, her servant and The Warrior Prince for another farewell. The princess walked towards the archeologist and whispered to him. "Good luck" The smiled. "I thought Prince Hyousuke will come with me?" The Archeologist was puzzled. "Yes, he will. He'll follow you after. Inform the Prince about this once you get there" Naoyuki nodded in response. "Well, see you next week kid" The violent prince smiled and ruffled the archeologist's hair. "Farewell, Your Highness" The archeologist tapped the blue medallion provided by the mage prince. The magic circle of the moon appeared below the archeologist's feet, creating a blue light making the prince disappear.
"Where are you going, Prince Hyousuke?" The princess asked while the raven-haired prince walks away. "Mind my business now that the kid is gone" He spoke and left. "I am very sure he'll cause another trouble, princess. Don't you have plans for this prince?" The servant spoke with worry and curiosity. "Yes, I do have a plan for him but we must wait for the right time" The Princess smiled innocently. "The prince will sure hate this" Tsukuyomi laughed. "I wonder what's your plan" Akiho mumbled. "You'll see" The princess answered, hearing her servant's mumbles.
