At the dawn of a cozy morning, the young little Ihan woke up feeling refreshed and a face that was flushed red with excitement shone with the waking sun from the window on his side, this was his day to truly enjoy the world, this was the day he would walk committed to become a top crafter and stand at the peak.
He hopped off the bed with a slight jump in his dark blue pajamas and his charming perfect face that if someone witnessed the sight they wouldn't be able to control their urge to hug him.
Not wanting to waste anytime little Ihan went to the bathroom room by his room and took a shower, although the technology in this world was similar to the ancient times seen in his previous world it had made daily necessities easier to take care of, well not that he knew of ancient times.
Dressing in a full white luxury decorated with red attire and picking up a red royal-looking garment and wearing it over his shoulders one would mistake him for a little king if not even a little demonic charming god, taking a small check in the mirror he went outside meeting Sara that was just walking toward his room.
"U-Uh G-Good morning young lord, i-i was just about to wake you up.", said the young pretty maid Sara looking like she just took a huge blow to her heart even words kept getting stuck in her throat, all she could think off was the words CUTE and HUG.
"Good morning Sara..., Are you feeling okay?.", replied little Ihan with his worried big eyes oblivious that he delivered another blow to her and he was the cause the girl in front of him couldn't talk.
'UGH AHH my heart won't be able to take it anymore, he is even cuter when he asked me if I am ok, I might die from this.', Sara's thoughts conveyed how she felt right now.
"Y-Yes young lord I am okay, y-young lord can I h-hug you as a goodbye?.", said Sara with all the courage she could, although this household she served in never mistreated her she still needed to not go overboard, she knew how maids were really treated in other houses.
"Oh, of course, come here.", said little Ihan acting nothing like his age which made Sara almost on the brink of pouncing on him.
"Thank you young lord, then excuse me.", said Sara crouching and taking little Ihan in her arms as she took time to enjoy this feeling of hugging the cute little Ihan and scratching her cheeks on his dark red hair.
"whkait... amhnhemn", or so was little Ihan speech as he tried to talk with a face buried on 2 soft round pillows he grabbed the 2 round soft objects and pushed himself out of them to catch a breath.
"Ahh, y-young lord I am sorry for my actions.", said a blushing red face of the embarrassed Sara as this was her first time being grabbed by a male and a cute little Ihan at that. 1
"Don't worry about it, it's alright I'll head to the dining room, take care Sara.", replied little Ihan as he straightened his clothes and made his way over to the direction of the dining room.
"G-Good luck young lord.", yelled the red Sara still recovering and taking deep breaths to calm herself.
As usual little Ihan found his parents on the table and waiting for him to have breakfast, he always enjoyed this kind of feeling of having someone waiting for you to have a meal together.
"Good morning Father, Mother.", said little Ihan as soon as he entered the dining room and walked to his seat.
"Haha good morning son.", replied Mirlad with a joyful laugh.
"Morning son, make sure to eat all your breakfast.", said the gentle Fera.
"Yes mother.", replied little Ihan having his cup of the luxury green tea that only a person of his father's caliber could drink adding the jewel-like white fruit bread.
The breakfast ended with encouragement and care words from his parents as little Ihan obediently listened and acknowledged.
He headed together with his parents to Urna's villa or rather temporary staying place.
Knock
Mirlad knocked on the door and waited for Urna's response standing by his side the excited little Ihan and his mother that held his hand.
"Come in.", came out the old calm voice of Urna.
Mirlad opened the door and stepped inside with Fera and little Ihan, they found the old Urna just finishing his cup of tea as a maid that was assigned to him and only came to his place when it was cleaning and meal times it wasn't because Urna liked staying alone but it was a mentality that changed when people lived for a long time and entered the world of crafters and cultivators as they often secluded themselves to cultivate or attempt to learn some techniques or for crafters to craft or try comprehending some magic formation... etc, either way, that something that every person that sought strength would have changed in them and as one got stronger the more they would remind alone, strength was often like that the price it had was the loneliness unless you gave up going into the path further or some special cases. 2
"Come sit.," the short words of Urna were how he treated people usually unless he was with little Ihan alone as he liked this disciple of his and treated him almost the same as his grandson especially since he never had kids.
"Master Urna I would like to thank you for this opportunity you gave little Ihan and although if there is anything I can do to express my gratitude please tell me.", bowed Mirlad and said in a sincere voice full of gratitude, after all, who could've imagined an Elder of the Immortal Crafters Guild would show them this kind of favor.
"Hoh well there is something actually.", said Urna seemingly interested in something which was seemed weird to Mirlad as he couldn't help but rack his brain to think of what this thing would be but still he replied immediately saying "Please Master Urna do tell".
"I Urna had always focused on my path as a crafter and never had any kids nor any disciple before little Ihan, so my only wish is to have little Ihan fulfill both those spots, I had already taken him as my disciple and successor but not as my grandson since I need both your consent as his parents.", said Urna earnestly in his old voice which seemed as if he was reminiscing and looked at little Ihan with a gentle smile of a grandfather before turning to Mirlad and Fera waiting for both their answer.
This of course left both Mirlad and Fera stunned and emotional because not only did the sincere Urna show them favor already by becoming the Master of little Ihan but now he even wanted to take him as a grandson, being in a Master-Disciple relationship means that one's Master is at the same as their parents and the same goes for the Disciple as they would both either bath in glory or both take the humiliation of one another, and by becoming in a grandfather and grandson relationship although it had the same merits as Master-Disciple relationship it made the grandson inherit all that the grandfather owned and basically it confirmed his status as the successor of both physical property and non-physical property like the status and name... etc.
Thud
"Grandpa, please accept the kowtow of this grandson of yours.", said little Ihan falling to the ground and kowtowing to Urna without waiting for his parent's consent as he already had Urna as a grandfather in his heart but still called him Master to show his respect.
"Hahaha, Good grandson from today onward you shall call me grandpa, Rise.", laughed Urna delightfully stroking his beard from joy and helped little Ihan rise to his feet.
"M-Master Urna t-this how could I even call this a gift or returning gratitude, you just made us owe you even more.", said Mirlad in an emotional voice and face that he didn't usually have.
"Hahaha since little Ihan already kowtowed then from today onward he is my grandson.", said Urna laughing and looked at Fera and Mirlad then added questionably, "I take your silence as you both agree?."
"Of course Master Urna since little Ihan already kowtowed we can't refuse, and not that we would refuse in the first place.", said Fera smiling gently at little Ihan.
"Alright no need for formal callings between us you can call me father if you want if not just Elder would be fine too.", replied Urna his smile wouldn't leave his face anytime soon.
"Yes Father!", both Mirlad and Fera answered at the same time bowing their heads, it was an honor for both of them to have a father figure like Urna who was a Grandmaster Crafters that Life Soul Realm would show respect to and even first level Divine Spark Realm cultivators would do too as still the pills and items Grandmaster Crafters could make would still be to help of them.
*Author's Notes*
Well, I was planning to leave the mansion in this chapter but there were still some characters and story building needed to be done so I guess the next chapter is the leaving.
I tried writing in a more informative way, I hope my writing is easy to read and the stuff I explain is easy to understand, if not please do tell me.
