On the deck of the Guardian Tempest Tree ship, Ion was explaining to little Ihan about their continent.
"Ion, give me a general summary about North City Region and the place where Immortal Crafters Guild is located.", the curious little Ihan kept gathering information from the well informed Ion, the way he ordered Ion came naturally as if he had done this countless times unknown to him of course.
"The North City Region which young master comes from is a city of mortals there may be few Life Qi Realm cultivators scattered in the city but it's mainly where mortals dwell and the Lost Forest acts as barrier between the mortals and cultivators which also protects the mortals from any danger like beasts... etc, the only mortals who would dare pass through it are the ones that have some special status, connections or businesses in the cultivators world, for the Immortal Crafters Guild it is located in the 'Holy Artisans City', a city fully controlled by the Guild and people who live there are either crafters or wannabe crafters or those who need to submit a job request in Guild and also sects or organizations that has a trade alliance with the Guild they end up placing a small branch to deliver the goods, and lone cultivators are allowed to live there by paying a tax of Life Stone Energy because they need to purchase the goods of the guild like pills, magic formations, or do jobs for rewards... etc, they pay a tax and live by the rules set by the Guild, no big sect or organization dares to have a hand in the city besides the small local sects, it is a far place from the North City Region."
"The Guild in the Holy Artisans City is only a branch which means the main headquarters is even more powerful...", muttered little Ihan his eyes were full of stars of awe.
"How long would it take us to get there?", asked little Ihan now impatient wanting to witness this glorious Guild by his own eyes.
"Young master with the average speed of master's ship it would take us 5 days to get there and at the top speed it will take us 3 days, it is quite far from North City Region and we will pass by 'United Life Alliance City' where the master is planning to stop for some time and while the flight isn't allowed in the city as well, although no one would dare stop master but crafters all care about-face and respect so master needs to respect their rules we will have to stop there anyway and then resume our fly after we take the exit to the south."
Still watching the scenery as the ship just passed by the Heaven's Light Lake he saw the road forked to multiple directions and they took the southern one, they soon entered a barren land where often there seemed to be few figures of a beasts/creatures here and there but due to the ship's speed, he couldn't spot their exact appearance.
"Young master this the 'Barbarian Land' which is a large stretch of land between North City Region and United Life Alliance all kinds of beasts live here and few unique tribes too.", explained Ion whenever she had the chance to.
*******
Little Ihan curious eyes kept going around looking out for everything for about 2 hours with Ion who stood by his side.
"Young master, Master has requested for you to go to his study room.", suddenly Ion spoke reminding little Ihan that she was there.
"O-Oh yes let's go.", replied little Ihan trying to recover his overwhelmed heart.
Knock
They went down the stairs and made their way to Urna's study room, little Ihan knocked on the door.
"Come in.", the usual answer that Urna often naturally said came from the study room.
Little Ihan entered the room followed by lifeless beauty Ion.
"Did you enjoy the scenery and quench your curiosity a little bit?", asked Urna with a grandpa smile.
"Yes grandpa, Ion told all about North City Region and Holy Artisans City and other locations.", replied little Ihan with a grandson smile.
"Good, enjoy the trip as much as you want, we don't often travel because as crafters not only it is a trouble for us with no cultivation, it also wastes time needed to be spent on comprehending our crafting path.", replied Urna reminding little Ihan that he wasn't going to Immortal Crafters Guild to play but to become a crafter.
"Anyways you don't have to trouble yourself with this i am sure you'll do amazingly enough to put older generation to shame.", added Urna with a mocking joyful laugh, excited about introducing little Ihan to the Elders in the Guild and shaming their disciples.
"Alright i am going to pass this book called 'Disciple Crafter Crafts' it has all the recorded magic formations, magic items/equipment, pills... etc, you can leave sometime in your day to start reading it, of course this book is a treasure to all Disciple Crafters and is only available to inner disciples to buy, as my disciple i can give it to you, when we get to the guild I'll have you take the public test for Disciple Crafter and depending on the formations, items/equipment, pills you could make and the harder they are your score and ranking goes up, your talent as a crafter will also be tested then according to your overall score and ranking combined you'll be given better position and resources, although i am an Elder and i could provide you with all the materials you'll ever need that would be as my grandson and personal disciple, so you still have to take the public test to become a member in the Guild, there are 3 areas the outer disciples area, inner disciples, chosen disciples, since you are a disciple of an elder then no matter what you'll automatically get assigned as an inner disciple but only your own score and talent could get you into the chosen disciples area, you'll have to show off your talent to enter there."
"I Understand grandpa, I will not disappoint you and I will become a chosen disciple.", after understanding the situation and how the Guild worked little Ihan resolved himself to stand at the top of the disciples.
"Hahaha good grandson I know you will, I am sure no one in the Guild could go against you.", Urna laughed with delight having witnessed the full capabilities of little Ihan who spent a week to become a Disciple Crafter shaming every crafter who spent 1-2 years to become one.
"Have Ion explain to you the rest, you can go enjoy the scenery.", said Urna smiling.
"Yes! take care grandpa.", said little Ihan bowing then walking outside the study room Ion following alongside him.
******
Little Ihan turned to his bedroom instead of the deck, his grandpa had clearly underestimated him, little Ihan by nature was someone who thirsted for knowledge and exploring new paths and possibilities and achieving stuff others said were impossible he wouldn't rest for a second if Urna knew the old self of little Ihan spent almost 300+ years without taking a vacation for a single day to achieve his long lost vow then he'd reconsider giving little Ihan such challenges.
Ion stopped by the door which confused little Ihan who asked her why she wasn't entering the reply was simple, "Young master hasn't granted me access yet", which reminded little Ihan that he wasn't dealing with a living being but a golem.
"Access Granted you can come in Ion.", said little Ihan which made Ion finally enter and close the door.
He sat on the sofa in the corner of the bedroom/guest room and told Ion to sit.
"Alright Ion tell me everything you know about the Guild.", ordered little Ihan with a serious gaze and face that would make females wanna pinch from the cute expression on the face of this 4-year-old.
