Aiden's POV
The interaction with that girl earlier is now in the back of my head as my focus right now is in the task that Master. Luke gave me. All of the tasks were now done except for one. That is searching the gravest crime for the first five years and maybe, just in case, for the last twenty years also. I am already done gathering the gravest crimes around the world for the last five years but I still have to gather the others. It's already three pm and I have to finish it by five so I could pass this all to Master Luke.
I sat beside the tree as it covers the harsh sunlight while I do my business. My personal laptop, which Uncle Red made especially for myself since we both have hatred for modernized robots, but the government failed to eliminate them all because people do not like the idea of destroying all the robots since they are the once who do house chores, some works, guarding the house/buildings, etcetera. Etcetera.
They don't think the danger of trusting robots too much. Some even entrust their documents and secrets to robots. Uncle Red and I knew how manipulator and cunning the robots are, we even warned the FBI and The President about it but they just shrug us off. Well the FBI said that they are ready if the robots even think of rebellion. Which I do not doubt, but they like I said, they are manipulative and cunning they can do anything once they have the chance.
I don't exactly know where this hatred comes from but all I know is that I hate them all, except for doggie. Yeah, I suck giving names so bear with it. Wind pass through me as the sound of flowing water from the near pond was heard, swans swim peacefully on the oceans as they are trying to find their mate.
My mind starts to wander as I watch the male swan courting the female swan. Sometimes it actually amuses on how they are so doting and loyal to their family. Something that I missed when I was just a kid, though I don't quite remember anything about my childhood besides dark and cold place, chains on my neck or on my ankles. Like I was a slave. Slavery is one of the things I hate the most in this world. It never leaves. Child slavery is more common which really is kind of surprising since the government does its job pretty damn well. It's been so long though, I am very thankful for what I am right now. I am a normal person, living a normal life like everyone else. Thankful of my Uncle Red who saved me from my dark childhood.
My thoughts were interrupted by the buzz from my pockets as it startled me a little.
I took the device out from my pocket and check the caller's name to know who it was.
'00109'
I answered the call immediately as I held the phone to my ear. "Sir," I said with seriousness in my voice. The caller was uncle Red but he used his code instead of his personal one. It means that he'll tell me some serious matters.
"Were you done already?" He asked. His voice is deep and cold as it'll probably give someone chills who heard it for the first time. " I am, I just need to gather some extra data just in case we need it, "
"What year?"
"At least for the past 20 years"
"Good, we will definitely need it. Finish it before 5 p.m. and then meet us at the entrance of the J.Hedgar Hoover building." He said as he hung up. I put the device back to my pocket as I continue my search. I even have to check some data on the internet just to be sure. Finally, I was able to finish my work by 4:25 pm. I turn off the holographic monitor as I put the board in my bag. I stretch my arms upward as I stood up to dust myself. I fix my blonde hair and my shirt grey shirt before I start to make my way to J.Hedgar Hover in Washington. It's pretty far from here but I could manage to be there on time if I take by train.
"Computer, traffic status from here to Washington, " I ask the computer inside my head as it took a while for it to reply.
"Traffic status to Washington, D.C. was heavy, I suggest you travel by train or fly for faster transportation." the computer. A sigh escapes through my dry lips as I dishevelled my hair in frustration. I am too lazy to fly yet I don't also want to go by train. I guess I have to fly in the sky since I'll also get a chance to see the scenery above, clouds shine like crystals and look so soft to touch while the sun sets, announcing its goodbye. Well, I guess it's decided.
I started the mini rockets beneath my feet as It helps me float a few feet from the ground. I set the rocket out from my back and start the engine as I flew up to the atmosphere. The trees got smaller and smaller as I went up while my face touches the cold cloud. I close my eyes at the feeling as I continue to go up until I was high enough to start moving forth.
I speed up myself as I fly above the soft clouds, remaining like that for a moment until I decided to speed to my limit because I want to be there early. The clouds that look so beautiful were now blurry to the side of my sight as the cold hard hair of atmosphere abuses my face. My abdomen feels cold as my shirt waves from the harsh wind I'm passing through so I decided to put on my glass shield around my face and my suit so that I couldn't get a burn or get too cold. It is specifically made for temperature purposes. I don't usually wear this but I have some parts of me that are not allowed to get cold too much.
"Computer where am I?"
'You are in the territory of Maryland'
"What state did I passed over?"
'You've passed Pennsylvania'
"Alright, tell uncle Red and Master Luke that I'll be in Washington, D.C. in a half an hour."
"Sent messages," It said as It turns off by itself. I continue my fast pace for the last half an hour, soon I am already in Washington, D.C.
I landed on the roof of a five-star Hotel, Called La Parisienne– a very fancy name in my opinion, of Ms.Madeleine's friend as I also sent them a message to reserve me three rooms for the night. I use the stairs and went to the highest floor to find an elevator. Once I found one, I press the button 'down' as I waited for it to stop on my floor.
The elevator dings as it opens, as I was greeted by a feminine looking robot. I entered the metallic box, a feminine robot inside as it stands in front of the control panel. My skin starts to crawl as the urge to punch something increases as the seconds pass by with the presence of an unknown robot "Which floor?" it says in a feminine human voice, I grimace at the sound as it waited for my response. Though I tried my hardest to maintain my facial expression as I also try to just stand still and stop my hands from killing this robot in front of me.
"Ground floor," I said in a cold voice as my expression darkens, just the presence of anything robotic made me boil inside. I want to destroy them all and wipe them out of the earth's surface. But sadly I can't because I am not a rebel and the government would most likely do something just to stop me, which is nothing will really good to happen if I ever start to destroy them all now.
The elevator dings open as I rush my way out of that suffocating box as I head straight to out of the hotel.
"Computer, any underground rail available near here?" I ask the computer inside my head. This is my first time alone in Washington since my Master, uncle Red, and I went together through airship. We'll land just a few miles away from the designated destination, so I could really only depend through my Computer then after this I could handle myself really well if I ever travel alone here in Washington.
"There is in five hundred meters away, you should be there in five minutes," The computer said as it automatically gives me the holographic map in front of me.
I scan the map for a minute as I close it after as I made my way to the station.
