Afternoon buzz of cold winter as it announces the upcoming cold weather. A Pile of snow covers the road but enough to make the cars and hovers to pass through easily.
Sun rays touch the soft snow gently as it gives the illusion of sparkling yet the clouds were slightly grey that slightly covers, some, parts of the lights above.
After a very long drive, that made me almost insane from worrying and this nonsense guts, I am feeling, we finally arrive as Master Luke—because they switch earlier— parks the car in front of the fountain. We hop out of the car as Master Luke being the last, giving the key to a humanoid male robot in a suit to park the car in our garage.
"How was my family," Master asks the humanoid robot that named Alex—and another super-intelligent like me but I'm just better— while Alex holds our things as we walk inside.
"They are all fine, Master. Doggie and I guard the family and the documents as you instructed" He says with a monotone yet kind of robotic voice. My ear twitched as I heard what he said and looked at master with betrayed eyes. I told him that I won't let anyone near my family. Why did he lie and why did doggie didn't report this to me?
"where's my pet?" I ask Alex. His hands were full of our bags and a thick blanket underneath his arms. Though he doesn't seem to need a hand so I let him be.
"He's upstairs playing with the Young Lady," he says. I nodded at him as I took our bags from his hands since I don't trust him holding a significant document. He complied and gave me the bags as I hurriedly went upstairs to put the documents inside doggie's storage.
As I walked through the halls of bright colors of white and blush pink of walls– like how Abby wants it– I saw doggie run towards me, making me smile as I crouched down to his level so that he could jump on me without hurting himself.
Doggie snuggles on my neck for a sec as he licks my face furiously with his artificial tongue. He whimpers in excitement and barks here and there, expressing how happy he was just to see me after 'two days' of not seeing each other.
"Did you miss me, my boy?? hmm? Daddy misses you too!" I said with a full voice as a smile gets wider and wider by the second. He barks in response and attempts to nip at my nose but I dodge, making him growl playfully at me.
"AIDENNN~," Abby says as it echoes through the halls while she also runs towards me with a brown bow tied teddy bear on her left hand as her pink lace skirt bounces as she runs. A wide smile planted on her lips while her eyes sparkle in excitement like how I saw in my pet's eyes earlier.
I put my dog down to my side as I open my arms wide while my dog yelps and also runs towards Abby as if playing tag. Abby ignores the dog but it continues to follow Abby until she reaches my arms. She let out a happy giggle as I stood up and circle us as she laughs in delight.
"How are you, princess? you seem happier than usual." I ask her as she controls her giggle.
Her dark brown curls compliment her tan skin tone and chubby face, though she's only about to turn 6 years old this year but she looks like an 8-year-old kid because of her tall stature and kind of mature looks. I don't know if its genetic or just time really changes everything.
"It's because I have a boyfriend now!"
My smile drop and my eyesight turn to black.

Inside the office of Master Luke. Three grown adults could be seen sipping their tea from a very expensive looking yet simple teacup. A woman dressed in a light blue lace long sleeve and black pants as she crossed her legs while sipping peacefully with her eyes almost closed in content.
Her brown wavy hair styled quite professionally, like a businesswoman, in a ponytail whilst her bangs placed neatly on the side part of her forehead. A tired-looking man seated separately beside her as he slouches down the soft chair while the other man in pink bonnet scans the paper as if memorizing every inch and the details of what's written in it.
"The hidden message is indeed from our secret ancient code... this means that something is going on inside the dark continent." Luke Smith says, the head of the smith household, age forty but despite that, he still looks like in mid-twenties.
His sharp jawline, high cheekbones, and cool blue eyes seem intimidating but his relaxed features make him approachable than the man at the other end.
His pink bonnet messily covers his ashy brown hair as his fingertips remove the distracting bonet while he, once again, comprehend the texts on the paper before he hands it to his wife beside him.
The woman called Madeleine, took the paper as she reads the report in silence while her content aura changes into a quiet and serious one. Her brows knit together in concentration as she read the report with comprehension before she gave it back to her husband.
Madeleine was a retire FBI agent in the paper but still works for both companies —the FBI and the CIA— secretly as one of their Black Card*
"But I don't get why did he say ' Don't Come near The Dark Continent' when we are supposed to investigate there..."Luke says, thinking out loud as his mind wanders of possibilities and why's and but's
"Our mission is to irradicate anyone who seems to be a threat to our country, but why....unless" he continues as he whispers the last part
"unless someone expects us to go there and probably kill us too on the spot like how they did to the agent... but even if we investigate there we will not know anything immediately if they're that careful—" Red cut off as he also voices out his hypothesis but cut off by madeleine after she finishes her tea.
"The more careful they are, the more they held a possible threat to our country. Rumors says that there's a possible terrorist inside that continent, but we are not sure if that's true. The Dark Continent has many illegal black markets that god know what shits they are selling, but never made a move to our country nor our world."
"The fact that we are investigating this is odd and quite suspicious enough... we have no strong evidence what is happening inside that place— no one does actually— yet we are doing this. And the question is Why?" she pauses as she looks at the two men as if asking a question.
"I don't get what are the directors thinking, but I guess we are also supposed to find the answers," Red says in a serious tone as he looks at the both of them.
"Especially Aiden was there in the meeting, Whoever or whatever it was, if ever is it as deadly and dangerous as we think, Aiden will also become their Target," Luke says in a tone that they only heard once in the past yet his eyes fills with worry and coldness.
"Right, we may have holes in the organization... we have to be alert and never trust anyone," Madeleine says as she ends the meeting. She stood up as she smiles at both men who still stress themselves at the hypotheses they make inside their minds.
Both Luke and Red have their serious expression planted on their face. Brows knitted together forming a frown to their handsome and manky features. Madeleine cough purposely as she looks at the two as if scolding them.
"You two work too much, its past six in the evening already, you two should eat first before you go back to work." She says with a small smile like a mother but her eyes defy her making the two men shiver in coldness as they both stood up and follow madeleine out to their dining area.
Soon after they arrived at the room where the foods and plates were prepared already. Steaming bowls of soup and other dishes' fills the air making the adults' stomach grumble in hunger as if only realizing that they skip lunch just to search possibilities of why's and how's before and during their meeting earlier.
Madeleine wave at the Chore Robot as she tells it to call the kids to go down and eat. After receiving the order, the Chore Robot bows as it walks out to call Aiden and Abby who are still playing hide and seek with their dog, doggie.
' Alas. This is indeed a calm before the storm'
