Chapter 4 - Flashback

Aarav blinked his eyes furiously as his mom's thoughts are still haunting him which he wouldn't mind at all. During that time, when his mother had gone, tears spilled without his knowledge whenever he thought of her. But he's no more a kid. Things are pretty different now as he knows how to handle this pain. This in fact made him even more cold hearted than before.

Ananya is the one who handled Chote in whatever mood he was. He shared everything to his mom. She tried to explain his mistakes sweetly. But he's rude from his birth so her words had temporary affects only. After her death, he contained his thoughts within himself and never opened up to anyone.

He then noticed that his fingers are now tracing his father's face unknowingly. He instantly retracted his hand and closed his eyes.

"FLASHBACK"

"Chote, am sorry" said Chintu with tears. Chote looked at her furiously as he didn't like her from the very beginning. "How dare you touched my stuff, even you broke it too" he gritted his teeth. Chintu is now shivering with tears as she had mistakenly broken his photo frame. "Bhai, leave her" Chottu came for Chintu's aid. "Narav, she didn't mean it" said Nandu calming her from her tears.

"Stop supporting her" yelled Chote. "I don't like her" saying this he pushed her to the floor. She fell down and started crying loudly. Hearing this Harish came running and lifted her carefully. "What happened" he asked looking at the trio. Nandu explained him everything.

"Chote, apologize to her" said Harish sternly looking at Chote while mending the crying fragile girl. "I won't" replied Chote. "Chote, You are way rude in your behavior, try to change that, behave sweetly to her, she's your friend, see how Chottu and Nandu handles her" said Harish somewhat calmly.

"She's not my friend, I simply hate her, you are not supporting me due to her, am your son, I hate you dad and don't talk to me" saying this instantly he left the room furiously.

(Chote, Chintu, Chottu and Nandu are nick names of the kids)

Harish first thought that it's just his anger, but he was wrong. Every time he tells something to Chote, he won't hear his words by showing his back to him. Harish always looked for Ananya's support during such times. She smiled and hugged Chote and told that his dad just wants him to be a very very good boy. But no words did it's magic.

Whenever he sees Chottu and Nandu playing with Chintu he fumed inside. He didn't like her. He doesn't know why. Chintu is a very cute and sweet girl. Though she tried her best to have a friendly chat with Chote, she only got harsh replies and physical hurts from him. Chottu and Nandu supported and took care of her all the time.

So Chote concluded that she's very pretty, that's why Chottu and Nandu likes her very much. Even Harish is very kind towards her. He started to hate his own dad from the very bottom of his heart and after his mom's death; he didn't want to be with his dad. So he went with his uncle who supported him every time next to Ananya.

"END OF FLASHBACK"

He opened his red eyes and thought that "Chintu deserved that death". Though he's happy for her death deep inside he used to think about her frequently. He didn't know why.

All of a sudden his thoughts ended with the girl whom he encountered in the market area. He thought she was beautiful, but then instantly gritted his teeth in rage. "How dare she spoke like that to me, when no one had the guts to talk to me like that in these many years, she, what's her name, Arushi, yes, Arushi if you believe in God, then pray, because am not going to leave you just like that, I will find you at any cost, once I found you, then no one can stop me from hurting you, you must pay for what you have spilled"

His thoughts were halted by a sudden touch. Sheela was standing there with a lovely smile, holding a tray of juice.

"Aunty" he looked at her calmly.

"You didn't change" she said eyeing his suit "okay, have this juice first, then change" she handed him the juice. Aarav started to sip his juice while his eyes wandered around his room on its own.

"Chote, your dad always made sure that everything is kept perfect here, he used to visit your room everyday and he's the one who took care of your garden till yesterday" she gave the details which Aarav wanted to know.

He finished his juice and handed her the glass.

"Okay beta now you change and come down for dinner" saying this with a smile she left his room along with the tray.

Aarav sat on the bed and thought about his dad. How many times he had tried to talk with him after his mom's death, but he simply refused it. When the whole family visited London to check on him, he shouted at them to leave him alone. So Harish asked their family members not to bother him. Meanwhile he kept on trying different ways, just to bring him back after he had finished his studies, which clearly didn't work out. Finally Harish told about their business which needs him for support. At last he accepted and came.

Slowly Aarav stood and opened his luggages. Pulling his t-shirt and track suit he went towards the restroom. Aarav came down for dinner where everyone was waiting for him. They had their dinner peacefully. When Aarav was about to go, Harish called him.

"Aarav, at what time are you planning to be there in our office tomorrow, you see am thinking of a meeting, where I can introduce you to our staffs" he calmly explained it.

"At what time do you want me to come" he asked him sternly. Harish and Arun exchanged their looks while others watched them.

"You can come by 10.00am, we will host the meeting" he told him.

"Fine, but after that I will be at 9.00am exactly" saying this he took the stairs once again.

Harish really felt proud of his punctual. He knows it very well, that when it comes to work, he will do anything. That was the sole reason why he's here.

Next day dawned with unknown surprises/shock to both Aarav and Arushi. As usual Jia pulled her from her sleep to get ready. Then after getting ready they started to their office in her scooty pep together.
