"How dare she" Aarav gritted his teeth. "She needs to know, what will happen, when she messes with the wrong person" thinking this he started to pace in anger and eventually smirked when he got a plan.
On the other hand, Arushi tried to be normal and returned to her cubical. When she unknowingly looked up, there, he was staring at her with a smirk. She didn't know why he's always smirking at her.
She took a deep breath and calmed herself. She was sure that, she will be taking more deep breaths as long as he's around her. She thought to be more careful but what she wasn't aware is that, a storm is already heading towards her.
Aarav was just observing her. When she looked at other cubicles, it was all empty, which made her to realize that it's lunch time.
"Arushi di" Gokul, the office boy came to her. He's a very nice boy and loves to call her as di, as she has stressed him to call like that instead of "Mam".
(di means elder sister)
"Gokul" she addressed him with a smile.
"Di, they all are waiting for you in the canteen" he conveyed the message.
"Okay, I will go now" she nodded with a smile and started moving towards the canteen.
She forgot about Aarav, who just for a second thought "She's beautiful", but instantly he was back to his rude self and wiped that thought with a smirk.
After sometime, he thought to meet Adi and when he couldn't find him in his cabin, he went looking for him and found him in the canteen where he's still having his lunch.
Adi was having loads of fun with Arushi, Arjun and Jia. Aarav just stood there and watched them.
Without realizing, his eyes just held Arushi and the way, how she friendly mingled with everyone. Again his thoughts went to Chintu and he couldn't get why she's reminding him of Chintu. He still hates Chintu, even though she's not alive. This made him furious again.
With those thoughts, he came to his cabin without talking with Adi. "Chintu was pretty, Arushi is pretty. Everyone supported Chintu, everyone likes Arushi. I hated Chintu and am furious on Arushi. That's it" muttering himself he came to a conclusion.
The client meeting started and as per Arushi and Jia's arrangement everything went well. Aarav just kept staring at her. He didn't know why he wanted to watch her continuously. Something attracted him towards her but he couldn't pinpoint it. He thought, maybe it's because he's furious on her and he's very keen to take revenge.
Arushi too kept glancing at him and his smirks actually confused her. She thought of an explosion but it was quiet. Then Harish asked Arushi to introduce Aarav to the clients. She nodded and introduced him to every clients explaining about their details. He's actually impressed with the way she genuinely gave those details. Mean while he didn't missed to smirk at her. She too noticed that but somehow tried to be normal.
After sometime, he thought that it was time to work out his plan. So he took Harish and went to the corner, holding their juices. Arushi was actually conversing with a client. She really had a good image in front of them and while taking a look around, she saw Aarav and Harish discussing about something.
She stood rooted to her spot as Aarav kept glancing at her while talking with his father and not to forget his slight smirk he sent towards her, when he was sure that she's watching them. She couldn't hear anything but deep down she was very sure that it's definitely not good news to her.
"Dad, I think, Arushi is doing a great job" seriously Harish couldn't believe what he had heard when Aarav told this to him.
"What" clearly he was taken aback.
"You are right about her" saying this, Aarav cast a glance at her with a slight smirk.
"I thought you were angry with her" Harish couldn't get what had happened all of sudden that his thoughts about Arushi has changed.
"You know Dad, she explained me very nicely" He again looked at her and then to Harish.
"Really" he felt genuinely happy and relieved that Arushi has done her work, not knowing what exactly had happened there.
"She knows every detail about our clients" he said glancing at her.
"Yeah, She's a clever girl" Harish felt very proud of her.
"Dad, I was thinking" he slowly dragged.
"What" now Harish looked at him confusingly.
"That am new here, I thought if she is my PA then it will be very nice" he spilled the bean.
"What, she's my PA Aarav" he cleared it.
"Yeah, I know Dad, it's just I was thinking that if she helps me out for a few days then" his eyes met her again before returning to Harish.
Harish looked at him and didn't know what to do about this.
"Dad, do you actually want me to work here or not" he finally had enough and threatened him in his usual way.
"Yes, I want you to be here" his words came out instantly making Aarav to smirk inside.
"Then tell me" he asked him after seeing her again.
Harish thought about something and then "Okay Aarav, Me and Arun, we actually need to go for an official meeting in Mumbai, tomorrow, we will be back after three days"
"Okay" he tried to sound casual, even though he was very glad inside that his plan is actually going to work.
"I thought to take her along with us, but it's okay we can manage, you can have her for three days and once we returned, she will be my PA again" he declared to his son.
"That sounds great Dad" he smirked at Arushi, thinking that, these three days are enough for him to teach her a nice lesson for messing with him.
Harish was more than glad thinking that their issue has been sorted nicely so he missed to notice the smirks which his son is throwing at Arushi.
When the clients' meeting was over, Aarav moved towards her. She felt nervous. But without talking to her, he walked past her not before winking at her. She blinked her eyes and gulped realizing that something is definitely up. She couldn't believe that he actually winked at her.
She returned to her cubical and casually looked up. But when she found him staring at her with an unpredictable smile, she felt suffocated. After answering her intercom, she took some files and moved towards the stairs as Harish wanted to see her. She kept looking at him and tried to be normal while Aarav thought "Now you will know it Ms. Arushi Dutta" with a smirk.
When she entered Harish's cabin, she saw him looking very happy.
"Sir" she smiled at him with confusion.
"Arushi, thanks a lot" he smiled at her lovingly.
"For what Sir" she couldn't get it.
"For convincing Aarav" he smiled again while she had a frown thinking when that convincing part had actually happened. Before she could say anything, Harish continued "I know, you are a smart girl, you can handle anything Arushi" he looked at her affectionately while she swallowed hardly.
Then finally Harish informed her about Aarav's plan. Arushi was clearly stunned as she now know the reason behind his constant smirks and of course that wink.
"Sir, but am your PA" she pointed weakly.
"Yeah, I know Arushi, actually am lending my PA to him for just three days" he said with a soft smile.
"Three days, you are so dead Arushi" she thought to herself with a gulp.
"Arushi, be his PA for three days and try to impress him with your works" he uttered expectedly.
"Sir" she started, thinking that impressing him is an impossible task.
"Also, this will make him to stay in Delhi" he became serious suddenly.
Watching him, Arushi felt so helpless, that she simply nodded her head for the PA thing.
"Oh thank you Arushi, am sure you can do this, good luck" saying this he gently tapped her shoulder.
Without any choice, she smiled and left his cabin with heavy heart. She is totally lost thinking about how she's going to handle him and reached her cubical. When she looked up, he was obviously watching her with a wicked smile thinking "I will make you to apologize now". She moved her eyes from him and tried to be normal.
But soon, everyone came to know about this and started to worry about her. Adi, Arjun and Jia reached her cubical and tried to cheer her up. She forced a smile though she has started to struggle inside.
She, along with Jia, handed the details needed for Harish and Arun's Mumbai meeting and left their cabin.
When she thought to start home, her intercom ringed. She picked it up and heard his clear voice "To my cabin, now". She was clearly shaken, but even then, she put a brave face and reached his cabin. When she got in, Aarav shut the door behind her which increased her fear even more.
He sensed her nervousness and with a smirk, said "Are you scared to work under me" his voice came near her ear. Her heart started to beat heavily due to his close proximity. She tried to say something but at the end kept quiet.
"If you are scared, then apologize for your doings" he said standing in front of her with his arms crossed over his chest. She simply looked at his face.
"I will leave you without any harm" he smirked.
"No, am not scared" she said steadily looking at his eyes which for a second stunned him.
"Okay, then take deep breaths in advance, as you can't even breathe under me" he said furiously.
She didn't say anything except staring him in his eyes with determination.
"Here, go through these files" saying this he handed about five files to her from the table. When he saw her confused look, he smirked at her and continued "I will say what to do with these files, tomorrow"
He smiled venomously, thinking that, these files will keep her awake almost the whole night.
She came out of his cabin with those files and reached her cubical. Aarav watched her from his cabin. He's surely somehow still lost in her. She took her bag and taking the key of her scooty, she left her cubical without glancing him. "Arushi, this is purely going to be a hectic ride, which you won't forget in this life time" his lips curved up.
While she thought "Arushi, don't be scared, we have to prove him that he's wrong and also we have to help Harish Sir" She tried to calm herself.
