The new instructor ready herself. She activated a magic barrier about the thickness of around two inches.
"Hurry up! I can only use this skill at full power for a limited time. Hit me with your best shot."
"Okay."
I don't know if this is a skill-based or not. I guess I'll just punch her. I ready myself and then hit her at full force. My punch broke through her barrier and landed into her chest. After breaking through the barrier, my punch was reduced significantly, so the actual punch felt like a slap to the chest.
I guess that means I failed this test? I thought so, but the face on the instructor says something else...
"I-impossible?! What skill did you use! A normal punch couldn't possibly break through my full power barrier. My barrier skill is even at level 6..."
Level six barrier? That is a high level but not high enough. If I count the other barriers with levels pasted 10, then I have a barrier level of 21. Since I was thinking this, my mouth perked up into a smile.
"You! What are you smiling about?! If you think your such a big shot, then you summon a barrier."
My old instructor stepped in before I could say anything.
"Wait! If you switch roles, you'll kill him. I bet he doesn't even have the barrier skill since he has such a high level of fighting and speed. So..."
I interrupted this time.
"Umm... I do have the barrier skill. I don't mind switching roles."
I don't want to upset the standards in the school, but I don't mind showing my fangs once in a while. Killing that world-destroying beast made me feel like a big shot, so I shouldn't get ahead of myself. Though testing how energetic these instructors are should be a good idea.
"Heh... It seems like we have a big shot here. Okay, let's begin!"
The old instructor facepalms as he is unable to control the girl. The new instructor readies herself. I do the same and activate my barrier magic.

A minute passes by. We stare at each other during this time. Then, she interrupts.
"Come on and activate the skill! Oh, don't tell me that you were lying?"
"Huh?"
I look at her dumbfounded.
"What do you mean? I activated the skill a minute ago. I have been waiting for you to make you move."
"Huh?! Yeah right. If you want to die here, then be it your funeral."
She smiles and then activates her ability. "[Powerise]!"
Ooh! That's a new skill. Guessing on the name of it that it boosts the user's strength with their mana. I stand still as she charges at me. She swings a fist into my chest, but it stops a meter away from me.
"Huh?!"
Her body jolts, and she jumps back.
"Impossible?! What trick did you use!"
"Huh? It was the barrier skill. I take it that you're unable to break through my measly barrier?"
She growls at me. "Hmph! I'll discover how your cheating soon..."
Cheating? All I did was activate my barrier skill. Oh, well. Don't I have another test in this section to do?
The girl moves away.
"Ugh. Just do the last test with him already so he can leave our sights."
"O-okay... Ahem."
The old instructor returns to my side and begins discussing the last test.
"The last test is your reaction times. I'll be sending fireballs in your direction, and you must dodge them... That's all this test has."
Oh, this is an easy test! Okay, let's do this. I look over to the girl who has a deviously smile.
"I know! How about I join in? Let's see if you can constantly dodge both of our attacks."
"B-but..."
The man sighs and then looks at me.
"Are you ready?"
I nod and prepare myself. The two instructor nod at each other and then begins to attack me.
For the next ten minutes, I dodge each of their attacks until both were exhausted.
"Huff... Huff... G-good job. You may leave..."
I bowed to both of them and took my leave. Man, that was a pain. There is still a bit of day left, so I decided to return home and train until nightfall.
