** Someone's Point of View **
"Commander, she has arrived!"
"Good, bring her in."
After commanding my subordinate, our boss's daughter, Haya, enters the room.
"Ah, Haya! Thanks for coming."
"No problem. I think I know why you ask me to come."
"Haha... Then let's cut to the chase. What do you have to say about him..."
"He's a unique one. I never thought he would be able to dodge all my attacks in that state. No normal student would be able to do such a thing."
"Maybe, but he might have been fighting at full force. If so, then he stands no chance when you go full throttle."
"I don't know... It felt like dodging my attacks and attacking every clone was nothing to him. I don't think he was going at full power either. Maybe he knew I wasn't."
Hmm... He is a tricky one. Based on Haya's response, this Sho fellow might be trouble. I think it is time to teach him a lesson...
"Okay. How about you eliminate him in the ranking battles, or rough him up a bit. We'll do our thing to make sure you get a battle with him."
"Wait, you want me to kill him?"
"Or rough him up! Either way should be sufficient."
"O-okay... What if he doesn't attend the ranking matches?"
"Well, that would be good for school; however, the ten still have an eye on him. He needs to be dealt with immediately. Try and seduce him or make him compete in the battles."
"Understood."
Haya bows to us and then vanishes. Man, that girl is always disappearing. Well, it is her masterpiece.
"Commander! The preparations for the other thing are ready."
"Ohoh! That's what I like to hear... If plan A fails, we'll have to use plan B... Though, plan a for the other thing is now ready..."
I smile devilishly as I go over my plans...
** Nii Sho's Point of View **
After teleporting home, I immediately went to bed. I also decided to tell my parents in the morning.
Morning came quicker than usual. As I rise from bed, I remember the trials from yesterday to get into this school. Some trails were rougher than others, but all in all, I think it was a successful day.
I left my bed, got ready for the day, and went down to the kitchen for breakfast.
"Morning, Sho! You look better than usual."
"Did something happen?"
"Yeah! I got into the school."
"Really! Good job. I knew you could do it."
"Yeah! What rank and class are you in?"
"Huh? Oh, I won't know until I go this morning. I heard rank isn't determined on the entrance exam but a ranking battle."
"Oh? Then, how about when you return tonight, we celebrate!"
"Yeah, that would be nice."
I smile at my parents.
"Oh! We forgot to mention. Your mother is pregnant! A doctor with the correct magic and skills told us that it was a girl!"
"Really? Congrats!"
"Haha... Your part of the family too, so congratulations! You are getting a little sister..."
We all smile at each other. I look at the time to notice that I needed to get to the school fairly soon.
"Ah, sorry. I need to get to school soon."
"We understand, have a nice day!"
I nodded and left the table. Before exiting the house, my father yelled my way.
"Oh! By the way, try not to tell others about your abilities or EXP!"
"Understand!"
Well, it not like I was planning to anyway. I bowed and left the house. I then teleported to the town and walked to school.
...
After walking for a bit, the school comes into view. I notice the receptionist is still at the front of the school.
"Good morning Sho! I have much to give you."
"Good morning, and alrighty."
"First, you are in S-class! You are currently unranked, so you'll need to participate in the ranking matches to get your rank. Any questions so far?"
"Yes, does rank do anything?"
"Good question. It depends on why you are in this school. Rank isn't beneficial if you plan to get a regular job or career. Though, your rank could help give you a high military status if you join them. Rank is also like a popularity key. Those with high rank have more privilege than others.
"If your goal is to join the council in the future, then having a high rank might be crucial. Also, you'll need to be in the top ten of the entire school to join the student council, which includes the top ten students in the school."
"Alright, thanks for answering my question."
"No problem, that's why I'm here. Now then, I'll explain some other useful information..."
She goes on to explain how the school works and some fundamental rules.
"And that's about it. Oh! The ranking battles begin tomorrow. Please sign up before the end of the day."
"Alright, thanks!"
"No problem, and welcome to the school! Your room is on the first floor in room 101. All classes are just going over the school rules and where things are. Have a nice day and school year!"
I smile and enter the building. As I roam through the school, I think over about that ranking battle. Should I enter? I mean, I don't need a rank. Nah, I'm only here to make my father proud... Well, not saying he won't if I get a high rank, but I'm not sure that I would... Ugh. I should focus on finding the room...
Ah, here it is, S class. Wait, how did I get S class? I didn't think I did that right. Well, that should be sufficient to prove to my father that I'm not wasting his EXP.
I knock on the door and enter the room. Once I did, all eyes move in my direction. There are only ten other students in this class, but their stares still weird me out. Wait... I look around the room to see that all the other students are female. Oh, and is that Haya? How did she pass the test? Didn't I beat her?
I ignore this fact and move to the back, empty seat. When I do, I hear a whisper from beside me.
"Psss... Hey, Sho!"
"Huh?"
I look to the right of me to see another familiar face.
"Oh, Miyu! Long time no see?"
"Yeah... I bet you didn't expect to see me."
"Huh? I would think it would be the other way. I wasn't expecting to make it in S class. How's your sister?"
"Oh, well..."
Before she could finish her sentence, someone barges into the room.
"Hello, class! I'm Enomoto Junko, your teacher. You might know me as the 7th member of the ten, but call me Junko."
She looks around at everyone. When she looks at me, she sticks out her tongue. Well, this is going to be an eventful school year...
