She scanned the area to look for a place to eat, and she saw a five-star restaurant decorated with flowers. She had heard about the restaurant. People say that the foods are really delicious. Spending thousands of your money will be worth it.
She walked towards the door of the restaurant and there's a poster. It's the restaurant's anniversary, so they have a promo. The usual bundle of meal costs 15,000 and it's for a single person only. With the promo, if you have your partner with you, the serving will be doubled, and there's even a 50% discount.
So, if Alena found an instant partner, the meal for two will cost 7, 500. She and her partner can split the bill into two, making their share 3, 750 each. It would be a fair deal! She only needs a partner.
'It's not even Valentine's Day, why is the discount for couples only? Can't I date myself?' Alena thought to herself and looked around her to look for a partner.
She saw a familiar face of a man. She doesn't like the man, but she can risk anything for a discount. She will not only be able to save money; she can also have a taste of the damned expensive high quality food of the place.
"Thunder!" She called, and the man looked at her direction. Thunder is in a foul mood but he can't be impolite to his idol so he smiled at Alena and walked towards the girl.
"Alena." He greeted and his face reddened when Alena linked her arm to his. Alena pointed to the poster on the restaurant's door.
"Look, they have a couple discount. If we go there together, we can save a lot of money. Let's pretend to be a couple for the food." Alena proposed and Thunder chuckled lightly.
"I can pay for the meal even if it isn't discounted."
"Think of my welfare, okay? I'm not as rich as you, and I value every cent of money." Alena tried to convince him.
Thunder wanted to laugh hard because what he can save from availing the discount doesn't even value as 0.0000001% of his assets. But as with what Alena had said, he needs to think of the girl's welfare so he just agreed.
"What are you waiting for? Let's go inside." The corners of Thunder's mouth lifted as his gaze landed on Alena. The girl pursed her lips and tightened her hold on Thunder's arm.
When they entered, they were led to a vacant table and Thunder even pulled a chair for her. Thunder was about to take a seat, but he noticed that Alena is still not letting go of him.
"Honey, how can we eat if you're holding me like that?" Thunder spoke and Alena bowed her head as her face reddened. She immediately lifted her hand and placed it on her lap.
A waiter stood by the table's side and asked, "Madame, Sir, you want to avail our promo for couples?"
"Yes!" Alena answered with a very clear and happy voice like someone she loves had proposed marriage to her.
"The foods for the bundle cannot be chosen. Do you have any additional orders?"
"No, thank you!" Alena grinned widely, and the waiter left the two alone.
