It was afternoon. The New League Army put scouts near the base. Each scout has 3 types of men: Sniper, gunner, and engineer.
The engineer is the intelligence of the scout. They have one small drone that has a camera on it, a laptop, and a drone controller. so it easy to scout the area. The sniper kills far target enemies, and the gunner had 1 rifle that kills enemies in numbers.
Scouts wear Marpat (short for Marine pattern) is used for multi-scale camouflage. Perfect for blending in the environment, also perfect for scouting.
They put 10 scouts around the base, one of the scouts reported to captain Finn.
"This is corporal Smith from the bravo team. They are 300 men coming from the north. Horsemen, infantries, and archers, with a black and red flag carrying from... I think that is the leader", said Smith.
"This is captain Finn, do not engage wait for my orders", Said Finn.
"Affirmative," said Smith.
"Tell our men to get ready as soon as possible". Said Finn.
"Yes, captain"! Said one of the private army.
All the troops rushed to the main gate, carried their guns, heavy loaded, and ready to shoot.
"Sir! All troops are ready". Said from a private.
Everyone is silent until the ground shook, they heard marching from a distance. The troops saw a flag until everyone saw fully armored horsemen
Marched towards them around 75, at the back are 150 infantry and 75 archers.
They stop near the main gate. The battalion commander observed seriously. He ordered one of his men to bring a message to the captain of the newborn armies.
"Hyah!"
The messenger came to the entrance gate and says,
"We wish to speak to the commander of this army. You must hold down your weapons, we are not here to fight". Then the captain confidently holds down its weapon and tells its men to hold down.
Then the commander of the battalion ran towards the entrance and dismount his horse. He came forward and walked towards the entrance.
"you people are not from here nor from the west," he said
Finn also came forward to the entrance. Both of them stared furiously with each other, their eyes don't know fear, no one even blinks.
"You don't know our capabilities, what we can do, and what we can't do", said Finn.
"Oh, I know, my scouts are one of my elites. They cannot be killed just like that, they will retreat if they sense any danger", Said the commander.
Captain Finn blankly stares at the commander. Suddenly, all the troops saluted and General Aedric came. "General!" Said Colonel Karl.
"A kid? Hahaha! Your leader is a kid?" Said the commander. But no one smirk nor laugh. Everyone looked serious. The commander stopped laughing.
"my men are not that easy to kill, one or two of them can retreat. But no one report to me what happened".
"You're men died in a second, 5 of them. You should report this to your king, and if you will attack, all will end in 5 seconds or what time you want it to end. I'm not joking". Said Aedric
The commander believed in what the general said. He knows since his elite scouts are not easy to kill.
"I'm Augustus, leader of the battalion. We are the Syndia Empire, one of the three strongest kingdoms. I shall report this to our king. I must leave now". Said, Augustus
"He's a wise commander. I'm looking forward to meeting the king", said Aedric. Everyone is calmed now.
"Return to your positions!" Said Captain Finn.
Then the General and the officers came back to the tent. They planned on what to do next. The general smiled and think,
"Things are getting interesting now."
