Joaquin and Ains had started to move again after their small altercation. At this time, Joaquin was expecting everyone to be reaching the bus. He thought that he was supposed to be alone with Ains walking towards a garden that could possibly give him a mana pool of his own.
Something bothered him, from deep within his pockets was the grimoire burning his sides up. He did not want to open it up and deal with the smoke ghost because it was really no help at all to him. Every time it proposed something Joaquin would find a way to exploit it and then reset his progress and skills. Joaquin found it useless and would not hesitate to get rid of it should a chance present itself to him.
In the end, he gave up and opened the book, much to his expectations the book had new additions to its system. A few pages in Joaquin noticed that it had detailed parts of Joaquin's memories, every time he thought of something new, his thoughts would be detailed exactly as they are on one page and on one other, relevant memories would be displayed.
Joaquin slammed the book closed and said to himself, "worthless." But the book had one more trick up its sleeve, whenever, it was written on the page that came directly after his attributes. It said that whenever Joaquin connected, or drew a rectangular shape or stared intently onto something with one he will be able to see his own attributes and whatever he wanted that was written in the book.
"Joaquin Z. Alder, I'm here on behalf of the students to punish you for deceiving us." The voice of the Idol Prince which was filled with pride and a sense of justice echoed from behind Joaquin and Ains.
"Master, the blue-haired boy is back."
"I heard him, and he doesn't seem to be thinking straight."
"I was thinking straight before you got into my mind, but now I'm free again and understand completely what I must do."
"Ains," Joaquin called and Ains walked back to him. "These self-righteous imbeciles just walked into their own deaths, go get them."
"AYE!" Ains said as she swept past Joaquin with some bounce in her jog.
"Stand right..." the Idol Prince tried to stop Ains but an incredible force froze his whole body. He looked at Ains with horror and she looked back with a beautifully bright smile. She passed by him and disappeared into the wall behind him.
Joaquin turned around to face the Idol Prince, "you might want to follow her."
"Not until you pay for the lives you endangered."
"And who are you to collect these debts?"
"I am a prince."
"To me, you look more like a servant a prince who cannot think for themselves has no right to call themselves such. Either that or you're feeling guilty for acting your age earlier when you..."
SWOOSH!
A giant gust of wind blew towards Joaquin and was deflected by the book in his hand.
"When you decided to follow me. Truthfully, you only saw them as a burden..."
"SHUT UP!" The Idol Prince took off on a rampage towards Joaquin with his fan drawn.
Joaquin deflected the fan with the book and punched the Idol Prince back.
"I owe you nothing, just leave right now before this place spits us out."
"No, not until you get punished." the Idol Prince's eyes lit up and his hair turned a light sky blue, winds rose around him and his awakened ability was activated.
"Well, damn." Fighting against people with short-range attacks was simple for Joaquin, but people like the Idol Prince pissed him off because he couldn't get near them to land attacks.
"Roar," the Idol Prince whispered and in response to this command the winds gathered, he flung his fan and the strong slice of wind charged Joaquin. Joaquin dodged it and looked at the floor to see that the slice had dug a very big hole on the floor.
Before he could react to the monstrous power, he was Joaquin felt a sting on his right shoulder. He looked at it and there was no arm and attached. Because of his extreme healing his wound had stopped bleeding.
He raised his head slowly to face the Idol Prince, another attack was already underway, he also dodged it but the results were the same with Joaquin losing his left arm.
"I can't bring myself to do any more damage than this, so I will take my leave." The Idol Prince Wang, the boy who had the title of the 5th Grand Seat turned his back on one of the school's biggest outcasts and left him lying on the floor. True to what Joaquin had said, as soon as the Idol Prince stepped out of the room the whole tomb spat the students out. They were scattered all over the forest but though effort met at the bus. The ones that Joaquin had commanded Ains to protect were all safe and sound.
Joaquin was not spat out, he remained and was visited by various spirits in his pain. "Murder, killer, devil, demon child, evil, EVIL. Die, die now," the spirits screamed and whispered all at the same time in his ears and directly into his brains because he was someone who ignored their heart.
Back at the school bus, the sun was about to set and one by one the students were declared dead in accordance with their capabilities. Those who showed more potential than others encouraged the teachers to wait a little longer than they did for the others. The strongest students and those who held great authority in the school's biggest guilds/families were asked to stand in attention outside of the bus.
The teachers wanted to know, "where is the bleach?"
Albion and Mordred let their mana fill the air surrounding the students and deprived them of oxygen and movement.
"Don't you guys know, that the warmonger died and reincarnated in this forest all those years ago with his classmates? He returned by foot to Heaven's Gate academy with resentment to humanity, he took over the school and soon went on to the entire world. His journey started here and ended here, do you guys want to see a replay of it?" Mr Albion said with a frown on his face.
