Felix wasn't the smartest guy or the strongest, if anyone would ask him about his qualities he would say he's simply average usually because he refused to think he's anyone's better.

His life was never easy growing up, poverty gave him a rough personality but no matter the challenge he always charged the wall win or lose.

This day wasn't a day he would win, on his way home from work at the mill working late had him exhausted and on the drive home his nerves were fried.

Listening to heavy metal was helping him vent from the stupid shits he had for coworkers when he felt something hit his car then he felt a wobble, and it was getting worse and before he could react it was too late, his stomach dropped and the next few seconds every fiber of his being was screaming in terror.

"fuck, fuck, fuck, FUCK!!!" the right wheel to his SUV snapped off and he felt the car drop into the ground, the result was the vehicle getting catapulted into the air so violently his blood rushed to his stomach.

He wasn't thinking about it but this was a familiar feeling to Felix, multiple motorcycle accidents and crazy teenage adventures allowed him to realize that he was in for a shitload of trouble, Felix braced himself for the accident but it's wasn't going to save him in seconds he went over the guard rail and into the valley as soon as the car hit the tree his world went black, in the end he would not be surviving this.

The mangled wreckage of his car wouldn't be found till the following week when the search and rescue team would stumble upon it purely on luck, being wrapped up in a tree. "My child focus now you need to make a choice" the voice thundered through the void causing a tremendous tremor.

"where am I? I must be dead so heaven or hell?" Felix tried to look around but found he had no senses and so he couldn't tell if he was even moving at all. "Umm hey what the hell is this I can't feel anything can we fix that!?" Felix screamed out at the void he anger nearly tangible.

"why so worried child you feel nothing so you have no hunger no fear, you can see nothing so you can want nothing but you seem strange why are you so angry?" the void spoke like some old philosopher Felix would encounter but the words made no sense. "what do you think is pissing me off I don't know what is happening."

"strange child I don't find many like you, this is the void I am the void" then in the black a silhouette appeared in a shade of grey "are you satisfied with your end child can you accept it?" "satisfied what kind of joke is that of course not you are one sick...." he paused his rage muted, what is this what is it Felix couldn't see if it's male or female and he could tell either though the voice and he didn't know how to react to such.

"child did you not live have you not experienced a life I could end all suffering and save you from pain, you can live in peace and worry not forever."

That sounds really nice thought Felix but what is the point no matter what you do you will never be satisfied he's never been satisfied unless he kept learning or reach for new horizons, no matter what he did he was never satisfied and kept pushing himself. "no I'm not happy with the end, if I had a choice for what I wanted then I'd never end and so my dreams would never die I'm sick of being told about my limitations and given boundaries to overcome I am not satisfied with such a pointless existence just to die and be forgotten!"

"interesting child you are trying to fight with fate itself then go prove it yourself I'll give you the tools but the rest is on you." as soon as his speech ended Felix was bombarded by tremendous pain like his skin was being burned through all at once and his senses overwhelmed with white noise and a blinding light, *what's happening to me? what have they done!*
