"What is that?" I flinch when hearing Araqiel's voice.
Hastily, I place the vintage whistle inside my purse and smile at him. "What are you talking about?" I ask.
My heart thumps rapidly when he strolls closer to me. He can't know about the vintage whistle or even the accidental meeting between me and Jackson.
"The food that you cook…"
"Oh, it's bulgogi. Ahm, can you look at that for me? I'm kind of tired and I need to sleep." I mumble and stand.
He responds with a nod, smiling at me. Then, I walk closer to him and peck his cheek. "Thank you, my prince. Just call me if the food is ready."
"Okay… Sleep well."
I grab my purse and hurriedly, I step upstairs and straight to my room. I close the door and lean my back at the door. I wrap my arms around my purse and take a deep breath to soothe the tension inside me.
