["You never know what will happen to you, my lovely daughter." My mom says as she crouches beside me on the bench where it places on our mansion.
"What do you mean, mother?"
Then, she smiles and lifts her hand as she caresses my hair with a smile on her lips. Yet, she doesn't give me a reply and instead, she stands and walks away from my spot. I stand and strive to follow her behind but I can't. She's too far from my direction and even I try to run fast to reach her, I can't.
She turns over to face me and a smile curves into her lips. "Mom! Where are you going?" I yell so she could hear me.
But then, she strolls closer to me, reaching my hands and her hands clasp around mine. "Be careful, my Feaubry. I'm no longer beside you to protect and I hope you will properly use my gift."
"Mom. what are you talking about?" I ask.
She lets go of my hand as her hands cup my face. She leans forward and lightly, she pecks my forehead.
