Roein pats my shoulder to get my attention. I turn my head to face him and smile at him. "Don't be nervous, Feaubry. Just follow my lead and you will be okay." He says as he ruffles my hair before he wraps his right arm around my neck.
I just pout at him, removing his arm around my neck and adjusting the ponytailed. He just chuckles. He stops his track and grasps my wrist to stop me from walking.
I glance at him as my head cocks on the side, confused. He stands in front of me and helps me to fix my hair. Then, he smiles and nods when he's satisfied with my look.
"Thank you, Roein," I say with an exhausted pant. I can't believe my heart thumps at his touch. And because of his unique scent, citrus scent.
"Are you okay? I sense your heart thumps rapidly. You need to relax." Roein says while wrapping his arms around my waist.
I shove his arms around me and smile at him and say, "I-I'm fine…"
