When are they going back home? Aling Rosa said my sister will soon be discharged from Hospital.
I'm excited to see her and I'll invite her to play with me, cards! Or maybe the one we always play every Sunday.
I feel like a kid excited to see an actor or actress that I really like and admire.
I want to recoup for the fault I committed—even if it was just an accident. I want to serve her until her condition is tidy. I want to serve her, her favorite meal from morning to night, or she can have a midnight snacks to make sure she's not hungry nor she wouldn't feel the hungriness. Everything that I want to do with her—serving and make up with her, something that I'll be able to apologize about making mistakes that won't be repeated next time.
"It just a mistake," Momma said when I apologize to her earlier in the afternoon.
I bow down can't looked at her because of the guilt. "But that mistake was the reason she was being admitted to the hospital." I said in a weak voice.
She hugged me tight. "Don't feel guilty my dear, it's not your fault, ok?" she part away from the hug. Then, she placed both of her hands to the both side of my cheeks. "Stacia, listen to Momma. The important thing is that you helped her and did what you could for her, and that's what matters to me, Anastacia." a wide smile plastered on her face.
My eyes watered. "You're not mad and disappointed at me?"
She shook her head. "No, why would I—I understand everything so I will never feel that way, especially for you." she rest assured.
Because of the emotional that I felt, I hugged her tight, so tight. The embrace of a child—I'm going to make her feel how much she made me feel the love of a mother, that's what she's going to understood and analyze everything.
I'm so lucky to have her as my mother.
And I will never regret that she was my mother.
That day, she left because my sister needed her because she didn't have anyone to take care of her, anyway. I understand that thing already, she wouldn't be there if it's not my fault. If Momma has to leave after this, and she needs her at all, and I'm going to be left alone here, I already understand it.
She didn't lose time with us—I'm not really the kind of person who's just likely need some of her time. I'm very satisfied with the time she gives me or to the both of us.
'I know how to be contented.' I said to myself.
The next day in the afternoon, I was eating Doritos in the living room, when unexpectedly there was a knock on the door. Momma reminds me that I'm not allowed to open the door, because if she knocks, she has a spare key, and she will open the door herself, or Yaya and Aling Rosa can.
But the thing is they're not even here. If I didn't open the door, it could assume I was rude. So I stood up and walked close to the door, wondering if I'd open it or not. Perhaps no one will know that I opened it because they're wasn't here. They all left because it was according to the schedule that set for them. At first, they didn't want to because I didn't have a companion, but I told and rest assured them that it was all right and that I could handle myself, and then later on they agreed.
It's their day off so nothing's wrong with it.
Sometimes they also need time not only for themselves, but also for the people who love them. Time is really important, but it's much more valuable to also be truly happy.
I have decided to open this door. I still doubt it, because it seems like I'm doing it wrong, but—never mind.
Slowly, I pulled its handle and stared at the person in front of me. I was shocked at what I saw because I didn't know this person at all.
'How do you know, you're not leaving the house," my mind suddenly said and I feel offended.
I was just on the side of the door, holding the handle by my right arm.
I swallowed, trying to hide my shocked. "Yes, how may I help you?" I genuinely asked.
She sweetly smiled. "D-do you kn-now this address?" she stammered and then showed me a piece of paper with the address written on it.
Oh, I just frowned because I didn't know where it was. I don't leave the house nor going out the house, so even though I've been living here for a long time, I do not even know.
"Sorry... but I don't know the address,"
"Oh," she put down the paper.
I give her an apologetic smile. "Sorry,"
She still smiled. "No, it's okay—sorry for disturbing you."
I shook my head. "No, it's okay, you didn't even... disturb me."
"By the way, I'm Carla May Filismina—you are?" then she offered her left hand.
I then offered my available hand. "Anastacia Quinn Smith, Stacia for short." we both smiled.
We both let go our hands.
"Sorry for disturbing you, Stacia?" she said hesitantly.
"It's ok,"
"Thanks, I'm going now—sorry again." she bow.
"Welcome, take care,"
When I could no longer see the whole of her, I closed the door and headed straight back to the living room and continued what I was doing.
She looks like a kind person.
Someone greeted me for the very first time and asked for my name. Suddenly, I felt happy about what had happened. Simple thing, but it seems to be the size for me, it's just an introduction, but I'm glad about it.
"Stacia, you've got a guest downstairs," Aling Rosa shouted outside of my room.
"Uhm..." I whimper.
"Stacia!"
"I'm asleep!" I shouted back.
I don't know what time for me to have a guest. She came around the first morning. So then how can I have a guest if I didn't have a friend, tsk.
This is so impossible.
"Stacia," she knocked again.
And though I was exhausted, I was still able to get up, but my eyes were closed. I rummaged through the door knob, and then I turned it over to open it.
"Aling Rosa.... I'm still sleepy," sleepy I stated.
She sighed. "Someone waiting for you,"
My forehead creased. "It's not for me, it's for my sister, Raj, Aling Rosa." I was about to close the door when she abruptly stopped by holding the door knob in front.
"She said your name, so she's looking for you,"
I deeply sighed. "Maybe you've misheard it,"
"Her name is Carla, she said that you already met and rencounter yesterday,"
Suddenly, of what I heard, I opened up my eyes. "Wait a minute," and when I was quite nervous, I immediately closed the door to her. I went straight to the bathroom to take a shower and fix myself rather than arrange my bed.
As I went down, I felt the excitement that someone was looking for me for the very first time and someone was visiting me. It's only been two days since we met each other, which seems to be the happiest thing in my life.
"Hi," I approached her when I saw her sitting in the living room.
She stood up immediately. "H-hello,"
I told her to sit down, and then I was sitting in the opposite chair. Yaya Anny came with a tray containing iced tea and a slice of pizza. She placed the tray in front of her, and she just smiled at Yaya Anny before turning to me.
"Uhm..." I was wondering what to say. This is the first time I'm going to do to someone I don't know very well.
"Sorry for disturbing you again," she give me an apologetic smile.
I just smiled. "No, it's ok. By the way, no offense but why are you here?"
I'm just curious why she's here not because I don't want to, but it's surprising. Each guest who comes here is what they're looking for my sister, not me.
I never thought anyone would look for me!
She laughed a little. "I don't know anyone here except you, I just want you to be my friend,"
I was surprised by what she said I couldn't believe it! I don't know how to response to her.
