"A slime?!" Scott couldn't believe what he saw. Sure some players had found some race changers, however the slime race change wasn't something that was supposed to be found just yet. After all it was a top tier race.
Scott hurriedly asked, "Did you look at this guys history? We need to find out how they are a slime this early."
The desk guy nodded, "I took a look, who do you think I am? As far as I could tell it was a bug. It looked like Bart bugged out and chose a random race for him. It happened to be a slime however."
"The we have to undo it right?"
The desk guy shook his head, "Nah, part of our promise was that any bugs that interfered with the player would be compensated. Any bugs that helped would stay unless it was game breaking."
Scott frowned, he felt that it was a little unfair to the players of as right now. However it definitely was not game changing.
The desk guy suddenly tapped the table, "Just realized though, he might be the first to reach the superior form of that race."
This caught Scott's attention, "What do you mean by that?"
The desk guy pulled up an information page, "No matter the level, if the player decided to become a slime they would start out as a 'lesser' slime. The evolution only happened at a few level points. 50, 100, 250, 500, 750, and the final evolution at 1000. Since the slime race change should only be possible around 500, that means right now he is at a point in his evolution that level 750 players would be."
Scott asked, "That's still a problem. We should probably change it."
The desk guy shrugged, "Honestly I am kind of interested in what this guy will do. So pardon me but I will be defending him. It is possible to reach the superior evolution without a bug. However this guy managed to skip a major step due to the bug. So players would be able to also be the same as him. If you plan on taking this away you would have to compensate with something great. Like one of the lower eight swords."
Scott shook his head, "Forget it, if a player had one of those swords right now then they could easily defeat all the players. Let them be then, don't forget to send me the recording if they agree. I have to send it to Reputation Management."
The desk guy simply waved his hand. When Scott left the room he smiled, he truly enjoyed watching people play the game he had a hand in making.

Akiol was in a precarious situation, this tag team was proving troublesome. His [Aura Boost] was almost over and he didn't know what he could do. Wrock was still dealing with Shot, and Jarvis was dealing with Rosadell.
Akiol didn't show any weakness however, he continued with his relentless attack. Still unable to pierce through Stabbed's defense he used the last remaining time to put his buff into speed. Executing {Apparition Strike} he aimed for Stabbed's neck. However, to his surprise, Loxit managed to block the true strike. The only conclusion he could think of was that since Loxit was part of the game, it was immune to non-magical illusions.
After Loxit blocked his attack, Stabbed kicked Akiol in the chest. Right on his core.
Akiol winced, the damage was truly mortifying. Being immune to most attacks is nice and all. However if one hit dealt this much damage he was unsure if it was worth it.

Wrock spun and dodged an arrow. This battle made him incredibly happy. Ever since his arrival in this world he was almost certain that he may never find someone who was skilled enough to fight him. However this archer was incredibly skilled. They dodged and weaved through all Wrock's attacks. In fact neither of them took any damage. He wished to fight them in the future, when his strength was close to his of the past world.
Catching another arrow Wrock asked, "Should we use skills now?"
Shot responded, "If you want, though I don't think you will win."
Wrock grinned, "What a coincidence! I was going to say the same."
Shot's bow began to glow and several glowing arrows were fired at him. Wrock weaved through the arrows. However he couldn't dodge all of them. When he went to catch one it still damaged him. Wrock dodged as many as he could, the few that hit him didn't do a lot of damage. However if he took the full brunt of the skill he knew he would have died.
Shot nocked another arrow. The arrow looked a bit different, Wrock didn't know what it did however. When Shot released the arrow it flew to Wrock several times faster than the other arrows. Wrock was slightly surprised but he tilted his head for it to fly past. His cheek was scratched and a notification appeared.
Wrock waved away the notification, he never liked anything affecting a fight. The only thing he accepted was magic, because that was part of someone's strength. Poison was not.
Losing a bit of respect for his opponent he charged forward. Shot released a few more arrows, however Wrock was done with the spar. Catching all the arrows, he snapped them in two. Wrock threw a punch towards Shot, which was dodged. Wrock already saw this coming and kicked towards Shot's chest.
He shouted, "The Beast's Roar!"
[The Beast's Roar: Kicking with extreme force causes a shockwave, sending enemies flying. If the kick lands, the shockwave is contained within an enemies body.
Cost: 400MP]
The skill took nearly all his mana, he believed it was worth it though. When creating this move he did want an AOE attack. However he knew the true strength lies in actually hitting the kick.
Shot saw the foot and was shocked, the pugilist had gotten better? Either the pugilist was simply fooling around in their battle, or they were extremely skilled at adapting. Either way was still bad news for them.
The kick landed and the shockwave ran rampant inside them. If such a skill was to be used in the real world, the vitals would be in pieces, bones shattered.
The shockwave kept bouncing off Shot's inner walls, every wave a bit weaker but further damaging the already weakened body. Until the shockwave's momentum had stopped. Shot was finished, remaining with so little health you could sneeze to finish them off. Wrock wouldn't be so unkind however. So instead of sneezing, he kick them in the jaw. Sending them spiraling into the ground, dead.

As the mutated tiger was being pushed back Rosadell began another spell. However instead of a new spell, she simply fired the cannon again. The second shell hit the mutated tiger's stomach. Causing it to howl in pain, that moment of howling made it lose its fight with the first shell. Causing it to hit the tiger's neck. This made the tiger collapse.
Jarvis saw this and immediately ran up to the tiger. He examined it's status and realized that it was in critical condition. If he didn't save it now he would lose it forever. He whispered, "It's fine now, return to the book. I know a healer who can fix you up."
The tiger groaned and made no effort to move. Jarvis attempted to urge it into the book, but it still didn't move. Rosadell saw this and harrumphed, "It looks like that big kitty is worthless!"
Jarvis glared at her. He then noticed the tiger rise up. He happily waved him towards the book but the tiger simply shook his head. This worried Jarvis, for at any moment the tiger could fall dead. However a notification appeared that made him stop.
The tiger, named Whitelash, looked at Jarvis pleadingly. Jarvis hesitated a bit before confirming. He never liked the animals under him dying. If he could heal them he would do everything he could to make sure they were fixed. However an animal knew when it's time was up. If they told Jarvis to let them go he would. They knew better than him.
[Last Stand: Being mocked by the enemy while nearing death is shameful. Angered by this, the leader of the forest would not be defeated just yet. Last stand grants temporary immunity to all attacks. In exchange for it's death afterwards.]
The tiger let out a roar and charged towards Rosadell. She quickly fired off another shell, but it was ineffective. The third shot seemed to be the cannon's last since it then burst into glowing shards. She quickly cast another spell. This time a ballista, it fired off a speeding javelin. The magical projectile pierced into Whitelash's chest. Causing it to stumble a bit, however this wasn't enough to stop it. It instead fueled it's desire to finish the enemy. Running faster it had approached Rosadell. Rising it's paw to swipe at her.
The ballista fired again, making Whitelash fall backwards. Two magic javelins where in it's chest. Slowing it down, but not killing it. Rosadell saw this and she shouted, "What is this thing?!"
Whitelash gained a bit of pride in that. Standing back up he charged again. This time, when the ballista fired, he dodged. Putting his remaining force into his paw he swiped at Rosadell. Of course the mage had put up some defenses, these however were not enough.
The paw shattered her defenses. Smacking into Rosadell and sending her flying into a tree. Whitelash watched her fly, before falling to the ground. Jarvis ran to his side, patting the head of the tiger. He smiled sadly, "Thank you." He said.
Whitelash groaned and started to turn into black and white lines. These lines flew into Jarvis' book. Opening the page he found the picture on Whitelash, and the information.
The only difference was the once colorful picture was now gray.
