The trio had made it to Silverflight's Adventurers Guild. Akiol had already sent a message to the three unfortunate party members. Once they arrived Yielya, Tilia, and Kan'na were already sitting down.
Joining the table Kan'na was the first to speak, "How come you joined when most of us were already dead?" She had a slightly scary look.
Jarvis who was slightly terrified, responded, "As soon as I received the news I rushed over there."
Kan'na stared him down. With the atmosphere slowly growing tense Akiol intervened with a playful tone, "Hey now. The good news is that Pierced Moon didn't win. We are the victors and Jarvis played a major role in that."
Kan'na relaxed a bit, "I suppose that's fair. In return I want to be filled in on what happened."
Akiol told the story, with Wrock and Jarvis filling in the parts he missed. Kan'na pinched her chin and said, "Magic that formed siege weapons?"
Yielya smacked the table, "Forget siege weapons, what's with the leader being Hero's Chosen? If I had that ability I wouldn't need a protector!"
Tilia mumbled, "If that's the case then my job becomes less useful."
Akiol comforted, "It's early stages. We can afford to take hits, nothing is strong enough to really challenge us yet. Don't lose hope!"
Tilia sighed and simply nodded. Her job of right now was a personal guard of Yielya. The only reason that she felt useless was because she was with a group of highly skilled individuals, who didn't need protection.
Akiol mentioned, "We are probably the number one enemy of Pierced Moon. However if they are smart they won't try anything for a while."
Jarvis asked, "What now?"
"We usually do a quest when one of us was found. However I am pretty sure that battle counts." Wrock replied.
Akiol nodded, he honestly wanted a small break from fighting. It was a pain to dodge all the attacks. Regardless if he was a slime or not. He felt his concentration slightly waning.
"Well, let's spilt up." Yielya said.
"Why?" Tilia asked, slightly shocked.
Akiol answered in place of Yielya, "Probably a good idea. We found everyone, let's meet up again at a major milestone. Any ideas on that?"
Wrock was the first to reply, "Level 100! Not only can we go to a city, but that competition will start."
It was a decently good idea. Akiol turned to the rest of the party and asked, "Sound good?"
There wasn't any disagreements. However Kan'na pitched in, "Let's just meet up when the competition starts. Level 100 isn't too far away. Until the official announcement arrived we could use the time to get stronger."
"We'll do that then!"
After that everyone split off into there own city. With the intent to reach the level 100 mark.

The desk guy leaned back in his chair. He didn't know who those three were but he was extremely pleased. He had just finished trimming the video file, intending to hide the silver haired player's secret. He left one of his special marks on the group. In his free time he would definitely watch their battles again. . .

A woman rubbed her temples, when she joined Reputation Management she wasn't expecting her film major to come in handy. Her current task was to lead a team to create a small video showing the highlight moments of 'A World's Legacy'. The problem was there wasn't many notable video clips. She had about four minutes of decent clips. Half of it was scenery shots. What she needed was a climax, a battle that could truly motivate players.
Sighing she said, "Let's take a break folks."
A collective sigh of relief was heard. They had been working for an unknown amount of hours straight. Backs were hurting, eyes were strained.
She slumped in her chair. She had two days to come up with a minute more of video. Normally it doesn't sound hard, but she had a reputation to keep. A whole game company's reputation. Feeling a migraine coming she viewed the current video again.
Ding~
She clicked on the notification, she had a sound affect for emails. It's hard to keep track of other things when your on a crunch. The email popped up.
From Scott:
I think this would be a nice addition to the project.

She downloaded the file. Inside was a video. She double clicked the video file and watched, her hopes up slightly.
After watching she slammed the desk, gathering the attention of all the workers in the room.
"Change of plans! We have what we need, back to work!"

Akiol had just logged off. He didn't need to grind just yet. On top of that he had a meeting with his family in three days. There was a few things he wanted to go over.
The argument started after James stated that he wanted to drop out of school for a job opportunity. His parents had immediately declined and said his schooling was far more important. Angered by the lack of foresight his parents had, he stormed off in a rage.
His job was a loading one, it had decent pay, enough to live off of at least. All he had to do was unload trucks. With decent benefits James found no reason to decline. The only issue was that it clashed with his school schedule.
Akiol felt that James had thought too emotionally in this. It was clear that he and his parents had different viewpoints on this matter. Yet leaving suddenly like that was an immature choice.
Since James left his family and chose to accept the job he spent a year alone. Unfortunately his job wasn't as good as it seemed. With extreme work times, and far worse work conditions then promised. Having enough with the poor conditions he looked into suing the company.
After hiring a lawyer and reviewing over some paperwork, it was found that there was a major breach of contract. This served as enough ammunition to gain a hefty sum. The lawsuit went well. He was paid enough money for him to live comfortably until he reached a comfortable retiring age. After that he spent the rest of his time alone in his apartment. He felt no need to spend his newly found riches on pointless things. He simply kept living the way he usually did. Except the purchase of the VR headset of course.
This continued, James had ignored his family. Not wanting to confront them. He felt ashamed of his previous actions, but relieved at the same time. Had he not accepted the job, he may not be living as he was now. He then died and Akiol had taken over.
Akiol had no experience with James' family. He had a gut feeling that it would be awkward, but he needed to make amends. He still had a couple days of preparation.
Despite that he hadn't a clue on how to use them.
