"Ku'lthar... Where have I heard that name before?"
The old man grimaced. "Not many have. I'm surprised a young one like you seems to know it. My name was known a long time ago, centuries by now. As such goes, I am just a distant memory of what was."
A wave of sorrow seemed to wash over the man, who wistfully turned and faced the orb filled walls.
"My sorrows have yet to heal, so it's better that I stay here. However," Ku'lthar turned to face Deja. "You, my friend, your life is just beginning! So go on, make some stories, and bring them for this old man to hear."
Deja grinned and nodded his head. Walking back to the entrance to the smaller cave, he stopped in his tracks. "Ku'lthar?"
The old man turned back to face the exit. "Yes, young one?"
Deja let out a small grin. "If we're friends, just call me Deja. It's all that I can do for someone who helped me as much as you did."
A few small, almost unnoticeable tears formed in the old mans' eyes. Ku'lthar face formed the first, and most genuine smile Deja had ever seen.
"Alright!"
----------
Ku'lthar patted Deja on the back as Deja left the passage, and then headed back to his workshop, closing the entrance, and making sure that the mark that he had placed on Deja was the only one that could react to it, promptly trapping himself in.
Ku'lthar sighed, and pulled out a small crimson orb, which he held up to his face and pressed a button on the back, activating a recording function. He sighed again, and looked into the camera of the orb.
"Hey, Deja. I'm sorry for what this world has become of my mistakes. My student... No, my friend, I'm sorry for what you must do. However it is the fate of all those who hold the system. The more powerful you are, the more beings that want to fight you. Deja, I'm sorry, but there are things on this world even you're power cant beat. The orb I sent to you is not all that I say it is. Though the effects I described are true, the true purpose is to tag the [System] users, bring them to me, where I can try to train them to become better, so they can defeat HIM. Sadly, it seems like HE is already aware of your presence. I'm sorry that I couldn't explain more in person, and I'm sorry I won't be able to hear about your future endeavors. Farewell, my one and only friend."
With tears freely gushing out from his eyes, Ku'lthar re-watched the video, and saved it to the orb. Fiddling with the buttons on the back, the dragon watched as a needle expanded out from the orb. With a final sigh, he pierced his heart. Falling over, a roar of fire seemingly burst from him and took the form of a dragon. The dragon began to shrink, until not much was left, and it entered the orb's needle. The needle retracted back into the orb. If one were to look around the room, they would see no remaining trace of Ku'lthar, the last living dragon.
----------
Deja sat at the end of the island, staring at the translucent barrier that surrounded the island. Finally swapping back to conversing with his [System] in his head, he asked while shaking his head. 'How did I not notice this? It's HUGE'
[The islands' barrier is invisible to the naked eye from the outside, making it impossible to see it unless you know it's exact position or can see through illusion.]
'Oh.'
[Yep.]
Deja sighed, and held out his hand, casting {Creation} and creating a small sailboat, instead of a flashy jet like he had previously.
'By the way, I want to see my Status'
[One moment.]
The next moment, a blue holographic menu appeared in front of him.

"1.578 Quintillion Mana?!!? How did it get that high?!?!"
[The orb]
"Pfft. I knew that."
Deja waved at the screen in front of him, dispersing it. He put one fist in the air, the other on his hip, and struck a pose yelling "Lets go back!"
[Why did you do that?]
Deja quickly sat down in the boat and covered his face, embarrassed. Quietly, he mumbled "I thought it would be cool."
The boat quickly sailed off towards the sunrise, the rocking motions lolling Deja into a deep sleep. Slowly, Deja closed his eyes, the world getting darker, darker, and darker yet, until Deja fell completely unconscious.
----------
[Alert- Ship is under attack by an unknown being.]
Deja shot up from his chair after getting a quick notice from his [System], and noticed a shadowy being floating over his ship, seemingly made of flames. When the being noticed that Deja saw it, a menacing smile kept along its face, revealing noting but a glowing curve. Forcing himself to look higher up than its mouth, Deja noticed that it had two glowing white holes where it's eyes should be. Immense fear washed over Deja's body.
"Who... Who are you?"
The shadowy beings smile widened, seemingly splitting his face in two. A raspy voice, similar to the one emitted by Harfyr in Deja's previous fight, rang out, seemingly from everywhere at once.
"Oh, child. You needn't know my name. However, Thee has had the unfortunate luck to be found by me."
The being held out a palm towards Deja, engulfing him ant the ship with darkness. Deja didn't even have time to scream.
