I fell asleep after dinner. What a day it had been. My Pa was in the palace hospital recovering from Mamba venom. Most creatures couldn't recover from this type of venom.
I decide to take a shower before breakfast. I love the feeling of the hot water flowing down my back but my mind was thinking of my time in the bath house with my beautiful bride. I miss my little mate so much that the thought of the bath house made me hard.

She fusses about making sure the bed is just right before leaving. As soon as she is out of the room I go over and mess with his hair, "What up Pa? You ready to get your lazy ass up?", laughing at his expense. I plop down in the chair by his bed.
Time to annoy the old guy. "Hey Pa, I saw your fight. You should have zigged when you zagged.", nothing is working to pull him out of his slumber. "I guess I could take mom and Ana back to Japan with me." I see his eyes flutter. This one gets him.
"About time I see you try to wake up", I'm pushing my luck. "Luther is one lazy wolf, and Gunther is absolutely the laziest. " Finally this is the one that gets his eyes open.
"Do you know how hard I worked to get you to wake up?", I just look at his eyes. I know that he is like me and it takes a lot of pushing. He is looking at me. He can follow me with his gaze. He still can't talk verbally. "Well, hello stranger. How do you feel?", I try to mind link.
I keep trying because I can see that he is trying hard. "After the fight we thought you were dead. We even had you in a casket. You have no idea how close you came to being buried alive.", I sure hope this works.

When the doctor comes in I mind link him that my Pa can't remember me. The doctor is examining him when mom comes in. "Mom don't panic but dad can't remember me." I link her. She walks over and takes his hand. He smiles and pulls her in for a hug.
The doctor says "Your Royal Highness, it looks to be temporary amnesia. It should come back in flashback type memories. It could take days or months. Every patient is different. "
"Why is everyone calling me your highness?", dad says to mom. "That boy thinks I'm his Pa. Is he mine?", dad is questioning my mom. I wonder what his last memory is?
I walk out of the room so he doesn't get aggressive. I really want to get his memories back. I feel horrible for this but I pray to the Moon Goddess that he is better soon.
I decide to go check on Kara. She is still sleeping and my sister is by her side. "Ana?" It looks like she hasn't left her side. "Yes, brother. " I touch her forehead, she is on fire. "You need to shower and eat something sissy."
"I can't leave her side. She knows my mate.", I look at her dumbfounded. "When I touch her I see him, smell him. I have to be here. " My sister is too young to mate. We take mating extremely serious. You have to be 18 years old.
"Look Ana it's one thing to get your wolf early but you can't mate early, it's forbidden. Plus you can't get heat until you are mated. All of this isn't making any sense to me Ana. ", it takes everything I have to remain calm.

"She will meet her first mate and fall madly in love on her 18th birthday. Then when he brings her to meet our family she will meet her second mate.", She still doesn't look up.
"What aren't you telling me?", I just have to know. "Well, I think they both already know. I think they watch over her and protect her. ", she looks up, "This will make her mad, they only want her love, but she could reject them."
I can't let her reject them, "I want to meet them. can you arrange it?" I have to intervene. "Yes of course." she replies. "Good, together we will protect our family. Now what about payment for what you did for my Pa?"
"I don't charge my family members. You all are family. " She smiles. "He will be fine, his memory will return to normal and you can get home to your mate."
"You can leave whenever you are ready but I would love for you to stay. ", I will explain to my sister. "Let's meet with the twins asap. " I walk out of her room.
I call Xiaolian to give her the good news. She tells me that the nursery is ready. She has been listening to the doctor too. I couldn't be happier with my little mate.
I walk into my fathers room expecting a bad response but I was welcome. "Pa?" I don't want to alarm him, "Alpha Mike do you remember me?" He looks at me for a minute before responding. "Yes of course. You are Levi, my son." I'm smiling with tears of joy.
We talk about the fight, about the death of Valentina. I talk about my mate and pups. I mention going home after his celebration. "Yes you need to get back to protect your pups, I understand son." I can't help but think how much has changed in a day. I just want my Xiaolian.
Days after our conversation I'm on my way to the airport. Japan is in my sights. The party for dad was a huge success. Every male Werewolf in the country came. At least it felt that way. They partied, talked bullshit, made plans, ate bbq, and drank the county dry. I should have imported more beer.
The women that came with their mates stayed in the garden with mom. They giggled like school girls, drinking wine, chatted about the past. They talked about children and Grandchildren. I hadn't seen my mom this happy in a while.
I spoke with Kara before I spoke with my sister. I explained everything to Ana about how we can't tell her who her mate is because the Moon Goddess may change her mind but we can explain it to her. I met with the twins. They are ready for my sister and will wait for her. They agree to wait until her 18th birthday party. Plus she will think they are adorkable. I'm excited for my sister. They are exactly what she needs.

He opens the book with a weird expression on his face. He really can't imagine why the book is blank. He sees it writing about him so he closes the book.
Closing the book he is very confused.
