My sweet mate is going through so much. The hormones are raging in her body. One minute she is crying and the next she is very pissed. She is floating between emotions faster than I can identify them.
She is getting closer to delivering every day. In the last two weeks her little basket ball has grown. She can't get down into a good position for a blow job anymore. Dr. Ping suggest that I help my mate find a hobby. Like Origami, calligraphy, painting or writing. Needle work or something else that is time consuming. I thank the good doctor and go back to my Xiaolian.
"Xiaolian? Where are you love?", I mind link her because she is not in bed. "I'm in the garden love.", she replied quickly.
"Hi baby, I hope you all are feeling good today.", I'm so glad to see her getting sun. "Did you walk out alone? I just worry my love.", she was sitting on a swing. The swing was round with a comfy cushion and lots of pillows.
"TangNing brings me out from time to time.", she watches out for me. TangNing is the old guardian but I still feel like something is off about her.
"I'm going to make sure everything is ready inside. I have a job for you. Actually several of them if you're up to it.", I surprise her.
While I am inside I look for TangNing too. I need to confront her about this feeling I have been carrying around. I find her in the study. "TangNing, we need to talk. I know that you care about my Xiaolian but something else is bothering me. Something else is going on. I feel like we need to clear the air between us. "
"Yes Levi I agree. I think it's time you understand. You see I am Xiaolian's mother. She doesn't know and I want to keep it that way. Her father came to me and we lay together. When I gave birth the Empress also was giving birth. Her daughter died with her but my daughter lived. The Emperor wanted our daughter to be legitimate and so we swapped infants. I was hired to be her wet nurse, later nanny. I hope to be nanny to my grandchildren if you see fit."
"I think that is a great idea, I'm so sorry that you can't tell her the truth. She would love to know the sacrifice you have made for her. Xiaolian would love to have her mother right now. I will gladly take you to be our nanny. The new house is ready. I was just waiting for a nanny and my mom to come shop for the baby. If you can wait for her arrival, you can shop together. You should go move in now and get ready for Xiaolian. Please think about telling her mom Ning."
I am very happy to know TangNing is the Grandmother. This will mean the best care for the pups. Along with my mom these two Grandparents will be able to set up a wonderful homecoming.
"Ready to come inside?", I ask my sweet Xiaolian. "Yes I think we are my love.", she replied. I gather her up in my arms and carry her to our room. "Do you think you would be ok to work on a few projects?", I ask as I sit her down on the bed.
"Projects like what?, she looks excited. "Like some Origami for a pup shower, the invitations in calligraphy, maybe a few things in that wheelhouse.", I suggest.
"I love that idea baby. Thank you for thinking about me this way. I know you are busy keeping us safe from the vampires. My brother has never been able to deal with them the way you do. I appreciate all you do for our family.", she is so clever.
"What do you know about the vampires?", I need to know more so I guess I should ask. "I have been asking around trying to find the history between the vampires and the pack. I can't find anything. How did your brother know her name? I know she was killing off the pack and I know that the old council members had paid her for killing a rival pack. I just don't understand how he knew her."
"Levi, Dad talked about her all the time. Nobody ever believed him. I feel sad that I never believed him. I know she is the one who killed him. I'm just glad it's over.", she looked up at me with grateful eyes.
"I'm keeping my troops out there looking. I want to find their nest. Then we can fight back. I want my pups to grow up free and safe.", I hug my mate before I get her the supplies for the invitations.
"Mom will be here in the morning and she is going shopping with TangNing for our pups. I've hired TangNing to be our nanny. So, as soon as you are ready we can move into the house. I've been wanting to surprise you baby girl.", she starts to cry.
"Levi you don't know how much it means to me. I've been so worried about everything getting done before the pups are here. It's like you got in my head. I love you so much my sweet LeLe.", when she calls me LeLe I can't help but chuckle.
That night Xiaolian wakes me in pain. "Dr Ping we need you at the palace Xiaolian is in a lot of pain.", I mind link the doctor. "I'll be right there."
"I'm scared Lele.", she wrinkles her brow. "Baby girl it's going to be ok.", I reply. Dr Ping shows up at that point. "Hi Xiaolian. So let me check out your cervix and we can go from there."
"Xiaolian you are in labor. Your hips are opened up and it won't be long. Sometimes this goes for days or weeks. With twins it normally doesn't last very long. They are ready Xiaolian it's just a matter of time.", Dr Ping made us both feel better.
Xiaolian was feeling both happy and sad because the moment we had been waiting for was here at last. She had spent so much time protecting the pups with her body it was very emotional for her.
"Don't worry love as soon as mom is here we will go over to the house. Plus I won't leave your side now.", I promise my little mate.
The next morning mom comes in she is exactly what Xiaolian needs. Mom has had twins so she knows exactly what is going to happen. She brings comfort to us both. I'm so glad I called her when I did.
TangNing stops by to get my mom so they can shop. I give them keys to the house and the alarm code. They ask us to come home at dinner time. Before mom leaves I pull her to the side, I ask her how long she can stay? She says that Dad will be here too. They plan on staying for a month to help out. She promises not to take over, only to help.
I feel so much better having the Grandmothers both here. I know TangNing doesn't want to tell Xiaolian but I want to. I think Xiaolian would love her for the sacrifice she made.
My troops report that they have found the vampire nest. They are in the ruins of the white castle in Fukuoka. The Mambas are going to go in and try to spy on the vampires. Everything is coming together now.
Takeo, Tenchi and Maiko are about to make their grand entrance into the world and the Vampires were about to make a grand departure. I call on the witch once again for her help with the vampire nest. Kara is more than willing.
I gather my Lotus blossom in my arms and walk to our home. We pass good schools, many textile companies with silk scarves and Kimonos. The area is very busy with many food vendors and businesses. The streets are clean, no prostitution or gangs, plus you can walk to everything. It's not far from the palace, Dr Ping is very close, everyone is there to welcome us home.
Brother Hito, TangNing, mom, dad, the Ezo pack and the new council members. The new members were Alpha Zin, Alpha Kane, along with Betas Tekken and Ping. Everything about the pack was small but growing.
I am excited for the birth of our pups. I can't wait to announce their names. I hope everyone loves our warrior, our Heaven on Earth and our Dancer. I already talk to each one. Tonight is no different. After everyone leaves I talk to Xiaolian's tummy.

You will stand strong and protect this pack. Tenchi, you are Heaven on Earth. You will lead with your Mamba. You will be fierce and mighty as you lead the snakes to hold strong in Japan. Lastly my Little Maiko, You are my dancer. Your grace will be known in all of Japan. You will lead in dance with a warrior stance that is strong. You will excell in the art of Capoeira. My sweet Xiaolian, your mother will be blessed by each of you. You will be the pride of all of Japan. ", I proudly tell my pups.
Xiaolian is fast asleep resting for the days ahead. I walk around in our garden. It is very peaceful and quiet. Our moms join me to discuss the day. They are so pleased with the house. I'm so glad that Mom Ning has shared her story with my mom Subrina. They are already so close and are willing to help us both with the birth.
I talk to my dad before going to sleep. He is happy to be back in Japan. He is excited to hear the news about the vampire nest. We are all ready for a new day and say our good nights.
I brush the hair back from Xiaolian's face. She is so beautiful. She is my world. I pray blessings over her. The Moon Goddess is the only one who knows how the birth will be. We all feel ready but only the Moon Goddess knows.
