When my flight touches down I feel amazing. I will be back at the Palace soon, back with my mate, and with our pups. I'm excited to see everyone and hear all that happened while I was gone. I want to see if my Mambas have any news from the Vampires. I've so much to catch up on.
I was so glad to be home, yes this was now home. Home is where your heart is. My path has taken turns from the States to South Africa to Japan, it has been quite an unexpected path but I am ready for the next part. Fatherhood is just around the corner and that was going to be the best thing I've ever done in my life.
I practically ran up to our room. I opened the door and panic set in. My mate wasn't there. I ran down to the palace hospital. I had to see if she was with Dr. Ping. "Ping, Dr. Ping, Have you seen the doctor? Xiaolian is she with the doctor?"
The nurse heard me and came to get me. She lead me back to the ultrasound room. My little lotus was in the room with gel on her tummy, my pups on the monitor. She was smiling so big. "We are having, 2 boys and 1 girl.", she is so excited about this that I thought she might cry. I know that I am. The tears just fall from my eyes without permission.
I see that the ultrasound is over so I take the towel and wipe up the gel. I help my mate clean up, get dressed and waddle to the exam room. Dr Ping comes in talking, "Well we have 3 healthy pups. They are developing just fine. Mom your exam has been very well so far. I need you to lay back one last time as I listen for myself."
He puts his hand on my mates belly to listen to their hearts beating and I have to look away to stop the jealousy I'm feeling. "Everything looks great. Xiaolian as we have talked about the pups will be very hard to carry. You need to let everyone do everything for you. No sex, no walking, let your mate help with showering, no bath time (we don't want to get them too hot), don't reach up, don't do anything for the next few weeks."
"Ok Daddy you take care of your babies. I'll see you in 6 weeks, if you need anything before then just link me.", Dr ping was the best OB/GYN around. We were very lucky to have such a good doctor. Never lost a pup.
I hug Xiaolian and kiss her passionately before picking her up bridal style. While walking her back to our room she tells me everything I have missed and how our pups are growing very fast. It's different with wolf snake Hybrid pups. Plus this is the first set of triplets in over 100 years. Not just in Japan but in the world.
I listened to every word. I couldn't get enough of her scent. I smelled her over and over. Everything was perfect. I couldn't have been happier.
I place her down gently on the bed. I get in beside her and pull her into my embrace. I tell her everything that happened while I was away. I tell her about the witch Kara and how Ana is mated to her twin brothers. She looks at me in shock.
"I know that it's shocking but it is very rare. Twins are the only double mates. Some times Twins are mates with twins. Others the twins are mated to a single Male or Female."
"Could our babies be mated to one person?", she still looks upset. "Honestly, I don't know babes. With the Moon Goddess anything is possible.".
"The Moon Goddess will do the best by our pups baby girl so stop worrying honey. They haven't been born yet, we have time.", I try to reassure her. "I know it's just I want the best mate for them.", she was near tears.
"Let me get you some tea love, tea will help you relax.", I try to calm her down. Xiaolian is so moody, my poor baby girl is nervous. I think I should take her out today. After her tea, I announce that we are going on a picnic. I let her pick the blanket but little does she know...
"Brother Hito, I want to take Xiaolian out on a beautiful picnic. Who should I instruct to set up the area and fetch food? I don't know the area well enough either, Where should we go?", I mind link the Emperor.
"Brother Levi, I had heard you were back. Welcome home at last.", He was happy for my return. "Yes, I am home at last. I have much to do before the pups are born. I need to find suitable housing and a job. Today is just for Xiaolian.", I surely don't want him to think I'll be mooching off him forever.
"We can talk about all of those things later my brother. Yes, today is for sister, Xiaolian needs this. I will set you up in the best place and have everything ready by 1PM. I will let you know where promptly."
At 12:30 my new brother the Emperor told me to bring my sweet bride to the Ohori Park. We would be on the Rocks under the shade trees by the water. Xiaolian gets a pillow and blanket, I gather her in my arms and we stroll over to the park.
It is a hot day so I check on my babies several times. We walk by many people and werewolves. Everyone says aww as we pass them by. Her baby bump shows clearly why I carry her. We enter the park passing the stone gate, walk around the red temple and past the cherry trees. Finally we reach the rock garden.
The rocks are by the water. Moss has formed on many of them. Especially where the Japanese Maples are covering them in shade. Here we find a very comfortable spot for my sweetheart to rest. it's built like a small bed just for her.
I sit her down and help get her comfortable. She reaches for the food but I wag my finger, no, no, no. I fix her plate and pour her drink. Then I serve myself. We eat and drink while we talk about our future as a family.
The area is very beautiful and the smell of the blossoms are something to inhale over and over. I couldn't get over how beautiful it is.
I worry about Xiaolian over tiring so I mind link the servants to clean up our park picnic. Then I gather my love into my arms. I walk her gently back to the palace. I talk about the things we see around us in order to distract her. I gently put her into the bed and slide in to hold her. She falls asleep before I can kiss her head goodnight.
I'm glad we had this time before the pups come. When they arrive we will be full out pup mode for the first year. I need to add a nanny to my honey do list.
"Brother Hito thank you for today it was perfect. She has been calm all day. Our sweet Xiaolian is sound asleep now. I need to look at houses around the palace. I don't want her to be far from the palace. Could you direct me to the best area?", I mind link him.
Soon after I sent my question I was brought a deed by a soldier. This deed was made out to me and Xiaolian. This was to be our new home. I couldn't believe my brother had done this for us.
I went to see our home in Nishijin. It is over 3k sq ft. a very historic property. It has bamboo floors, the bathroom has a shower and large tub for soaking. The rooms have been up dated and look very well cared for. I call a decorator to get the nursery finished and the home ready for us to move in. I tell her the colors should be blue and calming with pops of red.
I let her know we need a nanny room as well. Then I explain the master bed should be sturdy and King size. The colors in the master bedroom should be red with pops of blue and yellow. The triplets will require a room later that will fit 3 twin beds. They will need a large bathroom as well. The kitchen should be updated and the garden will need to be trimmed up.
The garden has several cherry trees, jasmine, lavender and Japanese maple trees. The Koi pond is beautiful with lotus blossoms everywhere. I point out places the path needs to be fixed. I also ask for a bridge over the water in the pond. Nothing large just something so we can feed the fish and enjoy the evenings alone.
Before heading to the palace I stop by for a report from my troops. Everything is going well and no new reports of death. No vampires have been sighted either.
After this I return home to our room and a very sexy mate. She was angry about something and she was sexier than ever. So cute when she was mad. Her little growl sounds like a bear or a lion. How could that come from my lil lotus?
"Baby girl? What's wrong honey?", I try to use a low calming voice. "What's wrong? What's Wrong is that I can't get up and do anything for myself. I can't fix my coffee or tea. I can't get my ice or water. I can't do anything for myself. That's what's wrong!", she looks so cute with her red face.
"Baby you know that you need to stay calm. Let me help you.", I climb into the bed and hold her. Then I pull out my phone to show my baby our new home. I tell her all about the decorator and the updates I requested. "You are the best Levi. I'm sorry I am going through this hormonal change my love. It has been so hard adjusting."
"I'm just glad to be home lovey. I haven't been able to do anything but think about you. It's harder than ever not being able to make love to you.", I tried to be honest with her. Xiaolian turns to me, kissing my neck and keeps kissing her way down. The pleasure she delivers with her mouth is beyond good it's down right amazing.
Yes I was home at last! Home indeed.
