"Rae! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" I was awoken to the sound of my younger, rubbery brother excitedly bouncing up and down in front of my bed.
"What is it Luffy?" I asked, groggily.
"You said we'd go hunting some beasts today! And that we'd have a feast fit for Pirate Kings!" Luffy said excitedly.
"Oh yeah, I did... give me a moment to wake up, would you?" I asked Luffy.
"Okay!" Luffy said as he just stood there.
I sat there, waiting for Luffy to leave, but it didn't seem like he got what I said.
'...Whatever' I shrugged it off as I began to clothe myself in my usual clothes of a blue dress shirt, black pants, and black shoes. I then began to brush my unruly mane of hair to no avail.
"Since you're ready, can we go now?" Luffy asked hopefully.
"Let's eat some breakfast first... pretty sure we have some leftover meat," I told Luffy.
"That's the greatest idea ever!" Luffy said in awe.
"...Okay, where are the others?" I asked Luffy as we walked toward the kitchen.
"Ace is already outside, getting ready for the hunting trip, Tai's having a spar with Kakky, they're really going at it and I'm here, getting all the meat!" Luffy said with a grin.
'...Kakky? I mean, I get Tai but... Kakky? Pfft,' I thought to myself, trying to suppress my snickering.
Luffy and I ransacked the kitchen for the leftover meat and had an all-around good breakfast.
When we left Dadan's House, we met with Ace and the three of us watched Tai Lung and Kakyoin fight.
Kakyoin was firing emeralds in rapid succession at Tai Lung while getting some distance between each other, while Tai Lung was just tanking the emeralds and trying to rush at Kakyoin.
Tai Lung got a little too close for comfort, so Kakyoin started to make weapons and armor out of his emeralds, at first they were crude clubs and fragile armor but they slowly became more and more detailed and with the detail, stronger, until Kakyoin wielded an Emerald Sword in the shape of a katana while wearing samurai-style Emerald Armor tough to defend against Tai Lung's full-powered punches and kicks... at least, for a little while.
Tai Lung also started to get better during the fight, using his enhanced strength to pick up trees and boulders to distract Kakyoin, while he attacked at the weak points in Kakyoin's armor, also putting his strength in certain parts of his body for small amounts of time, allowing for quick but powerful bursts of strength during the fight.
It seemed like it was going to be a battle of attrition though, and Tai Lung was losing due to the immense stamina drain to use his Strong Strong Fruit, if he had figured out how to use his Devil Fruit more effectively earlier, this would have been a very different fight.
And I was right, after another ten minutes of fighting, Tai Lung collapsed to the ground, exhausted.
Kakyoin was the winner, and he sure did look it with his emerald sword and armor gleaming in the sun. He looked like a samurai who had just won an arduous, but honorable battle.
"I... won..." Kakyoin said, before collapsing to the ground after Tai Lung. unconscious.
"Damn, that was a pretty good fight, wasn't it guys?" I asked Luffy and Ace.
"Yeah! That was awesome!" Luffy said in awe.
"Yeah! Totally cool! But I could beat them both!" Ace boasted with a cocky grin.
Only to squeal in fear when he was hit in the head with a small emerald, knocking him to the ground.
"...Hahaha... no you... can't" Kakyoin said, before falling unconscious again.
"Let's get those two inside and go hunting, alright guys?" I said to Luffy and Ace.
"Yeah!" Luffy said as he dragged Tai Lung into the house.
"Okay," Ace said as he helped me pick up Kakyoin and put him in the house.
When we were done, we stood at the edge of the forest.
"Now, it's time to go and hunt!" I said with a grin as the three of us marched into the forest, ready to hunt for large amounts of meat.
