"She'll make a Mason out of you, yet." Calico called out as Adilita's next inhuman level front hand followed shortly. A distracted Gypsy recieved a few more slaps before al.ost becoming unconscious. "Restore Majora!" Calico called out her combat skill to make her brother know because during intense combat it wasn't easy to read the situation. It only resulted with Gypsy recieving another round of slaps once again before hearing, "Restore minora!" If the slaps weren't unavoidable enough because the aftershocks continued to ripple through Gypsy's skin, then were acting like drum beats made out of skin into a "Ta Tata-ta" pattern. "Restore minora!"
"Ta-ta, ta-ta, Ta!"
"Restore Minora!"
"Cha-te-ta boom-cha!"
"Restore Minora!"
"Boom boom che."
"Oh sh- Restore Majora."
"BOOM!"
Gypsy's last and final blow recieved as he went through an adrenaline load out from the punishment. "Thieve's lucky draw." He called out in retaliation as he recieved a benediction from his class skills. "You two did that on purpose!" Gypsy complained as the very benediction released his aura in full force Adilita to jump backwards warily. Adilita winked at Calico who winked right back but that little second cost Adilita any advantage to her fight. It was Gyspy's blades that left silver trails from the enhanced speed and the spells boost from Calico made it impossible to counter. Before Adilita could blink there were scores of gouges and there were traces of aura sapping away the energy from her body. A red void appeared around Gypsy who collected the energy in small coin like shape. "Roulette!" Gypsy called as he began his counter strike with randomly arranged slices, dices, and kicks that either created enough recoil to Adilita's body.
Adilita's inner world calculated rapidly as she switched to a different lens almost naturally to see the aura leaving Calico's body as if she became weaker.
"Eyes on me Adilita!." Gypsy taunted making Adilita respond in kind as she slid one foot back with a small slide step. She even gave a small grin. "You two work as excellent team."
While an excellent fight should have continued between the two sides and even philosophical banter tossed into the fray, Anadoria opted to be less than occmidating. Guests of the armed sort arrived with light blue crystal golems towering beside them. Adilita smiled as she found a target guard. Calico King glared and began chanting a call as she began to gather energy to form the core of a being. It was a lightning that appeared to rapidly intercept Adilita's attempts to tale a guard hostage. "Don't you dare hurt them!" Calico called out at the android while the lightning wolf blocked Adilita's path.
"Dare what?" Gypsy asked.
"You didn't see it?" Calico asked her brother.
Calico's actions of defending the citizenship guards made them much more alert. Adilita scanners collected wide eyes and pupil responses before she decided to change tactics. "Help me, these two are trying to kidnap me!" She called out with a heartfelt voice of distress. "Power down golem and then we'll talk." Adilita looked around and let the weaponry disassemble as well as deciding on looking much less hostile. It wasn't very hard since all she had to do was put away the weapon into her hidden compartments. The dress she wore had a few tears in them but the royalty of her clothes spoke more volumes than the android expected to. The leader waited for a few minutes very quietly while his militia continued to set up a total lockdown on the streets.
"I am not a golem. I am Android." Adilita replied with whatever dignity she could muster as she glared at the two cat folk who were still unapologetically armed.
Even Gypsy staved off a yawn as he flipped a dagger in his hand. The brazen furballs of the pair showed Calico that these two may not be as strong as her but also veterans in their specific classes. It made Adilita conclude that the town guards may not be enough to stop them if they chose the mop the floor with a blood bath.
A voice broke Adilita out of her reverie as she turned to face the town guards. At the moment she could see small artillery golems trained on the trio behind the leader. "State your citizen number Gol- Android or you will be charged and all debt will be collected from you maker." Adilita smiled weakly as she answered, "Model 07, Citizen 01. Resident is missing and I am searching for my maker. These two wish to kidnap me-."
"Well?" The guard snapped at the two cat folk and waved right ahead. "Go right ahead. She's all yours."
"What kind of unfair bullshit is this! I am made by Zero One. I should be a queen here!" Adilita protested the illogical unfairness of the guard.
"What do you expect Zero One? Special treatment? These two fine citizens serve the best cake in the city and that lady delivered my wife's baby last year."
"Yes! According to your charter code you have a hierarchy based on the citizenship roster." Adilita snapped back with a bit of hurt. It was all unfair already from the moment the twins decided to kidnap and now they had a crooked guard? Adilita scowled vehemently and began to wish she'd been able to give Gypsy sixty seven more slaps. Her hands twitched and Gypsy flinched even though he was at a safe distance from her which made Adilita smile inside. "Yaaaaaaas". Adilita thought to herself as she glared at the asshat before the guard leader answered.
"It's more of a guideline to who is like nobility and besides Citizenship can only be granted by signing the charter. Almost all the original Citizens died the day the leviathan was born so it's impossible to believe that you're Zero One's Gol- Err, Android."
"Psst. Captain." A whisper interrupted the sobriety of the situation. Everyone turned to see a hardy adventurer casually walking into the guard lines.
"Jim? I thought you were in Mesta! It's good to see you. What are you doing here?"
"I was mugging pretty ladies on the black market but got them hands thrown at me by one so I decided to get the nearest mage to send me home. I was kinda hungry and thought I would stop by Gypsy's but seeing the commotion plus the young lady I caught hands from. Err, not in a good way you see so I thought I would save you from having a funeral today."
Adilita listened to the unbelievable the exchange and watched the scene unfold. Silently the three had decided to sit on the edge of the fountain while they were being held up by the interruptions. They didn't sit cumbaya style either which meant the twins sat at a distance from Adilita.
"Funeral? We're be having a promotion today if I catch these three." The adventurer shook his head and tapped his colt in the direction of Adilita which made the captain appear shocked. "Oh? You mean you Cross Saber who is the fastest gunman in the human race caught hands from her?" The adventurer nodded as it dawned on the captian as he let out a string of curses as he realizes that the wolf had just saved them. Adilita appeared to polish her nails innocently when she said, "These hands are rated a E for Everyone."
Gypsy groaned at the terrible comment and appeared to be patiently await the intruders to finish. The name Cross Saber did appear to pique Calico's interest. "Code get yer arses ready for a death battle! She's the real Zero One." The captain hollered but as organized hell broke lose the moment it dawned as golems assembled under the guidance of their crystal magicians.
Calico and Gypsy looked at Adilita and as twins often do they spoke in unison.
"Truce?"
Adilita prepared her hands in response because things just heated up. Cross smiles through the guard line as he rubs his chin as though remembering the sting.
