"Oiy, that hurts you know. I can take a kick to the face and even a kick to the ol' nads but ain't no need to suffer critical emotional damage from your words. We're just doing our jobs. If you'd gots problems then take it up with ol' Cap." A man spoke up to complain about being called a meatbag. "I heard that Zane! Complaint hearing denied." The Captain responded to his comrade but the jeer from Adilita became bashfully apologetic.
"Sorry." Adilita said as she spring into a low crouching foot stance into a strong fluid motion of shifting her upper torso weight followed by a rapid spacial sweep kick. Honestly, after receiving the kick to the face it appeared that he would prefer a name calling. The grimace of pain showed utter regret. Ordinarily, a full strike would have enough force but she felt something different and the density calculator in her processors told her that he was a hard meatsack rather than a soft meatsheild. "They're stronger Gypsy!" Adilita called out her warning sharply and applied more pressure mid-strike to force her body to counter spin over the formation line. The leaping vault carried her as she extended her arms to push off another head. Adilita smiled she gracefully glided through the air air into a spinning axe kick at the Captain. Instead of grasping the coin in his hand in that moment, The Captain responded, bringing both arms into a high block with a horse stance as his foundation to withstand every pound of force Adilita dishes out. The distraction was enough to prevent him from grabbing the coin but now Gypsy was faced with intercepting the other guards from interfering behind Adilita's back. Adilita landed softly on her toes on the rebound as she found herself back to Gypsy after leapfrogging over.
On Gypsy's side where he was was turtled in by the guardsmen and on Adilita's side, the android faced off the Captain nearby Cross. A chanting song covered their ears as Calico the female catfolk tangled together massive aether web together as fangs, claws, and teeth materialized followed by the eyes that glowed like the moon as a creature formed from the fabric of magic. It was amazingly beautiful as silver fur materialized into the flesh of a canus type creature of massively large proportion. Divinely graceful jaws opened wide to unleash a howl that rang like a sliver of fury against the hearts of the men at arms nearby. Rushing forward through the air in short leaps and bounds in what seemed to be fur made of striking blue lightning, the summoned beast barreled a hole through the line of offense. Calico has nearly been forgotten in the scrimmage but it was clear that she meant to disrupt the gap in memory by taking advantage of it. "The holy wolf? That's tacky but still better than sitting back there and watching my tail getting yanked." Gypsy commented only to yank his tail away from getting nipped as the guards made a clear pathway for Calico to walk through.
Everyone had paused now that Calico laughs at the troop as the great wolf sits on top of the coin that had landed on the ground. A tempted Cross took a minute to reload his colt then aimed it at the wolf before sighing and complaining. "Really lady? You could have just claimed the win with that trick much earlier." Calico laughs a chiming laugh of glee as she walked by her twin. She removed a few small crystal vials and handed them to the guards, the captain, and Cross. "You're going to regret this." Cross mutters as Calico tips the vial towards his lips so that he would drink it. Cross gave Calico a brief suspicious gaze before drinking the final drop. His physical appearance seemed restored and his health reached a peak but other than that he gently handed the crystal vials back. "You might want to drink that Captain " Cross suggested before pointing at the injuries his junior ranked men had and the captain did with the men following suit.
"You're welcome." Calico said with a taunting smile on her face before returning to pick up the emptied vials from surprised hands. "Oh come oooon Calico. Whyyyyy? Cap's would be fine but not the minions too?" Gypsy's fangs rolled out of his lips from annoyance while Adilita balked. Calico had healed the enemy like a double agent and Adilita was stunned by the unusual act of kindness in a barbarian situation. "It'd be bad for business brother if Carrow Corrow decided to wiggle out of the deal and our shop closed by the guard. I'd rather spend a fortune than continue this gamble." The Captain was close to Calico and reached out to try and grab her but as felines do, she slipped behind her wolf and the captain whipped his hand back before they took slipped into the jaws of the conjured beast. "I'm not backing down friend as you have disturbed the peace and also attempted kidnapping."
"Now you're on my side?" Adilita's overdrive powered down as her emotions wavered from the act of kindness. She didn't hate the men, she just hated being here in Yeviathan City with two crazy catfolk that played a dangerous game. It was however not something that could stop her from firing a shot at the Captain to once again have it deflected by Cross. "It's a tie, girl." Calico said and shooed the wolf off the coin before tossing it into the air only to have her brother slice it down the center then flick half it at the Captain. The Captain caught his half and Gypsy timed it to catch his half which had been midair.
"If you let us go and Adilita, we will come in for questioning Captain." Calico offered then slammed her staff down on the ground. Mana and either rolled like ocean waves around Calico as faint shadows began appearing around her as if being summoned. "In my world, I could never summon more than one but here in Andoria and Anadoria, I can. So what will it be Captain? Pursue a death or take the tie for what it is and consider your men, your reinforcements, and your battle golems saved from perishing."
