I didn't sleep again and didn't try to talk to the voice after talking to Lilith. I don't feel like I deserve Lilith because of how good she is to me but I won't push her away because she is a Goddess. Lilith is perfect like the other two, although the others are a little weird. I laid still to avoid waking them up but still watched all three sleeping, I wondered how I could be so lucky yet unlucky.
Lilith began to stir a few hours after she went back to sleep, I turned my attention to her and watched her brilliant green eyes staring back at me passionately, she had a large smile on her face as she pressed her left cheek to my chest staring at me.
I wasn't sure what to do but did what came to mind, I lifted my head and gave her a peck on the forehead. Lilith looked disappointed and pulled herself up now hovering her face inches away from mine slowly closing the distance and locking lips. I wasn't going to resist, I put one hand to her cheek as she pulled back.
"Morning, did you sleep at all?" She asked.
I gave her a smile, "I don't get tired, I was out earlier for a different reason."
I pulled my head forward and locked lips with her once again. I didn't pull back as quickly as she did. To my surprise Lilith gave my bottom lip a playful nibble before pulling back.
She looked down at me with a smile, "let's continue this later, I'll make some breakfast," she said.
I held my gaze, "let me help, although I don't eat for some reason" I offered.
Lilith's smile only widened, "afraid not mister, as much as this lovely piece would love your help, imagine the chaos that would follow when those two wake up if you aren't here" she made a good point.
"Well wouldn't it also stand to reason that they would be overjoyed to eat something this culinary master prepared?" I tried to reason.
Lilith tilted her head up to think and shook her head. This time my smile widened when I pulled up her bra.
Lilith glanced at her bra, "keep it, I'll use your shirt, you keep these two company while I'm gone" she commanded.
"Yes ma'am, also try not to burn the place down" I teased.
Lilith gave me a small smile and got off me, she went into my closet and grabbed one of my shirts then put it on. She gave me a small smile and left the room, she got to the kitchen quickly and started to pull out ingredients.
I felt Grace moving prompting me to meet her crimson gaze, "morning sleeping beauty" I greeted.
Grace didn't answer, instead crawled over my torso and shook Kana. Kana opened her eyes and gave me a quick glance before looking at her sister, "what?" she asked.
"Time to get up, Hugo woke up before us" Grace explained.
Kana yawned and wiped her eyes then looked at me staring at her.
"I don't sleep for some reason" I chimed in.
Grace looked at me in surprise then relaxed on my chest. She looked at me but didn't do or say anything, she laid with her eyes focused on hers.
"Hugo, are going to be alright because you gave us a scare yesterday?" Grace asked.
I smiled at her and wrapped my hands around her face, "to be honest I'm certain it will happen again, that voice is hell bent on killing you three, when and where it will happen is beyond me. I spoke to it last night, he never gave me his name but said I have to kill the three of you." I broke the news.
Grace didn't move, her eyes drooped and she hugged me with enough strength to kill a man. Her reaction was expected but even so I couldn't help feel all the fear radiating from her core.
I pet the back of her head gently, "ok maybe it will continue but no reason to not enjoy the time we have when it's not happening. Lilith is making breakfast so get your butts out of bed and get something to eat," I told them.
Grace and Kana got their smiles partially back and did as I said. Each gave me a kiss as they climbed out of the large bed. I followed suit and climbed out of bed even if the food wasn't for me I would still like to watch them eat. It sounds weird but watching them do normal stuff like that is fun.
Grace and Kana left the room before me but I didn't take long to join them, I didn't want to miss a single second of watching them eat. I walked through the large empty hallway down past a first class kitchen and into a dining room with a large albony table in the center, a beautiful chandelier hung above the table. I wasn't really into making my place look fancy but the chandelier shone like the stars in the night sky. Lilith was missing but Grace and Kana were already sitting waiting for food to be served. I got a little deja vu so I walked back into the kitchen and saw Lilith hanging out in a corner.
As soon as Lilith saw me she stood up straight, "hey Hugo, you see I didn't really learn how to cook after your death… I still don't get it" she tried to explain.
I gave her a small smile, "it's fine, just go tell the others you don't know how to cook or you could make the coffee and I make the food. I know I'm not going to eat it but it will all pay off when I get to watch how my cooking brings a smile to your faces so don't worry about a thing," I said trying to cheer her up.
She gave me a nod and started making coffee while I made some waffles for them with peanut butter and syrup. I'm not a five star chef but I can make some good food but Grace and Kana must be starving so I had to kind of rush.
When I walked into the dining room with the food Grace and Kana were laughing.
"What's so amusing?" I asked them.
They looked at me and smiled then Kana started explaining, "oh, I was just telling Grace your reaction last night, you were so embarrassed even tried to stop me, I'm confident enough to say my breasts are the only ones you have ever touched."
I gave her a little giggle, "absered, I've touched Lilith's long before yours… we have bathed together many times, we stopped after we turned around 9 but then when my parents passed I needed to be close to someone and Lilith was there for me. Even though I stopped grieving we continued bathing together for a while."
Lilith gave me a smile when she came in with coffee, "Hugo is half a day older than me, we shared a hospital room and our parents became good friends, I lived with him when we turned 13 and continued until 16, he moved into the dorms at the University so I moved back in with my parents," she explained.
Grace and Kana were amazed, they didn't know when I met Lilith.
"So I'm one of the only two then?" Kana asked for confirmation.
I laughed out loud and gave her a nod of approval. Suddenly I got a small headache when a voice echoed through my head "KILL THEM NOW!" it yelled.
They all looked at me in shock, "I hear it" all three said in sync.
Suddenly it shut up.
