"Shel. Are you certain you were meant to be in Aries? When's your birthday?" Fina asked out of the blue.
Shelly looked taken aback for a moment.
"April 2" Shelly replied
"There was a letter from the Queen about dreaming of three girls uniting together" Fina said
"We have a third bag in our room. We have a third everything in our room. I think it's you and it got all mixed up" Zo said in confusion.
Shelly eyes widened in surprise.
"Then, why…was I taken to Aries?" She asked
"Because Elfina distinguishes students by their birthdays. I'm just confused about that too but it's for certain you are our third. We bonded fast and defended each other even though we haven't met before" Fina said
"Let's just keep it a secret until everything's calm" Zo said
The golden quill shook and they all turned their attention again to it.
"In dreams does it all lay"
"Choose wisely. Darkness hid behind every light. It creeps in slowly"
The girls glanced at each other.
"Someone is here"
The golden ink disappeared like smoke.
They all turned to see Miss Zedler staring at them with her unusual eyes.
Her expression unreadable. Her gaze penetrative as she stroked her cat.
"What are students doing here?" She asked icily.
"We were curious about what the Recording Hall looked like" Shelly said
"Well, have you satisfied your curiosity? Follow me to the punishment room" Zedler said and turned back to leave.
"If curiosity kills the cat, then it devours Humans. We were curious. But not because of the Hall. If I may ask, aren't you curious to know what we were curious about that had us coming to the Recording Hall despite the fact that we could be punished if we get caught?" Fina asked
"Mr Walker was right. He needs to keep a good eye on you three" Zedler said without turning.
"Then, you can satisfy our curiosity" Shelly said
"By telling us who Xiana Kang was" Fina asked
Zedler's cat glared at them as he tilted his head to look at them.
"Go to your room" Zedler said and walked away.
"I don't think she remembers but the name could be familiar to her" Zo said as she pushed aside her bangs.
Their eyes swiftly turned to the door as they saw a shadow walking away.
"That's not Miss Zedler" Fina said as she ran to the door and opened the door.
No one was there.
"How does he or she knows where to find us?" Shelly asked
"Spells. We don't know enough spells to hide our scents or records but whoever we are dealing with is extremely good at it. The spells we are doing are just basic spells. We haven't been taught strongly yet" Fina said
"And we are definitely going to do exams" Zo said "If we fail, we lose all points and repeat the first level again"
"Do we really have to think about exams right now? I don't like it" Shelly said in annoyance.
"Let's go back" Fina said
