I turn to the giant. "And you must be Rubeus Hagrid, my uncle has talked about you." I said holding out my hand. He extends a finger for me to shake. "So you're the kids Sirius has been looking after ey. I knew yer parents Scarlet, yer mother had a very fiery personality." He said with a chuckle. I just nod as I walk towards the counter, Ruby started talking to Harry.
"Hello, Mr Ollivander, I'm here to pick up the wands." I shout. "Ah yes it's good you've come." He said with a flustered voice. "What's wrong?" I asked worried. "Well your wands are scaring the other wands." He said exasperated, and bring two box's over. He pushed one to me and the other to Ruby. I open the box to see a beautiful jet black wand with crimson lines going up and down it. Once I pick it up, I felt a swishing feeling. I move the wand and air started to splinter. "This is so awesome, how much do I owe you." I asked, watching Ruby do the same.
"Twenty Galleons all together." He said, as I get out the money. I look to Harry. "Sorry I pushed in front, how about I buy you some ice cream?" I asked, moving to let Harry be by the counter. "You don't have to." He said. "Don't be silly, my uncle will want to meet you." I said, thinking this must be the reason why Sirius was coming here.
"We'll wait outside for you, Harry." I said, pulling Ruby away without giving him time to argue. Once we leave we see Sirius walking towards us. "Did you find the person you were looking for?" I asked knowing the answer. He just shakes his head. "No, they are late to the meeting point." He said worried, looking around trying to find them. "Let's go try see if we can find them." He said, I shake my head. "I made a friend in Ollivander's, I said I'll buy him some ice cream." I said staying put.
After ten minutes, Harry and Hagrid leave the shop. "Harry over here, come meet my uncle." I shout over to him. Sirius hears me and looks around, and he has a shocked face. "Harry, you look so much like your father." Sirius said still looking shocked, I elbow him in the ribs. "Stop staring at him, and introduce yourself." I said rolling my eyes. "Ah yes, I'm Sirius Black, these girls guardian, and your godfather." He said with a smile.
I just sigh. "What's with that introduction, and I thought you were smart. So disappointing." I said looking at Sirius with disapproving eyes. I grab Ruby and Harry, and head towards Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour. We sat at a table and started talking about everything, how Harry was living with his uncle and aunt. But unlike the book, he was looked after well enough, they were probably threatened by Sirius.
"And then Hagrid knock on the door, and told me I was a wizard. Then brought me here." Harry said finishing his story. We sat talking some more, when Hagrid and Sirius come back with three cages. Hagrid got Harry a snowy white owl and Sirius got me and Ruby black owls. "Thank you Sirius." I say taking the cage. Ruby done the same, we look at each other with a smile. We make a small pack circle and make them familiars, I'll make them stronger later.
We get to the car and say goodbye to Hagrid, who was going back to Hogwarts. Sirius is taking Harry home. So we all sit in the back, and Harry has a shocked look. "Don't worry to much, it has been magically modified." I explained. We sat and was just talking about everything from the school to home life. "So how did you two get together?" He asked curiously, looking from me to Ruby. "Well when we first met, I was playing guitar and singing, and she just fell in love at first sight." I said, not technically lying. Ruby pinches me. "What that's what happened." I said with fake shock.
She just glares, I start laughing. "We've know each other since we were born, grown up together and it just evolved into this." I said shrugging. We reached Harry's house. "We'll pick you up, on the first of September." I say waving.
