Chapter 58 - Chapter 56

Once we leave everyone's sight, I use a teleportation circle. We arrive at the front door of our house. I open the door, and look around. "Claire, Sirius is anyone here?" I shout out, not hearing anything we start heading to our room. "Give me about an hour, ok?" I ask Ruby, knowing she will want to go kill the Grim. "It's ok, I can wait." She said with a small smile.

I sit on our bed and start to unlock my power. When I finish, I open my eyes and see Ruby shooting something outside. "What happened?" I ask, rushing to the window. I look out and see humans looting. "Of course scum like that are around, it's always the same." I said with distain, while looking at them. "Why are there people like that?" Ruby asked sadly, looking at the looters.

"It's just human nature, in times of chaos, you always find people trying to take advantage of others." I said, remembering watching the news and seeing the damage, these so called innocents, inflicted on each other. "Makes you wonder why we try and help them, right?" I say looking at her. She just looks down saddened. I put my arm around her. "What you've got to remember, is that we are not able to help people, who won't help themselves. Those that strive for chaos, will inevitably be consumed by it." I say looking at them, as they start attacking each other.

"I think it's time, we need to get rid of the monsters. And remember don't trust anyone, unless you see Sirius." I warn, as I start to get ready. "Ok, see you at the meeting point." Ruby said with a sad smile. I give her a kiss and hug. "Just focus on the monsters, and don't be afraid of killing human monsters." I say, worried at what Ruby might see. "Ok, let's go." She said with confidence. I go left, while Ruby goes right.

I start in the south-west, clearing out mostly Grim, with a few trash mobs from games. I see more looters and scare them off. When I reach south, I start seeing some monsters from dragon quest, that was a surreal experience. Then once I reach south-east, I head towards my old home. On my old estate, I see a massive group of daedra, attacking cars of all things.

I start attacking them and once they've been killed, I stoped and looked around the old place. Looking at what was my home, I see a small boy and girl. It's a version of the old me and my brother. I wave to the kids and leave. Maybe I should... no it's not my life anymore, I have a good family and a beautiful girlfriend. I hope Ruby's doing ok, I've only got a small bit left then I'll head to the meeting place.

I arrive at Trafgar Square, and look around. It seems Ruby hasn't finished yet, I'll go take a look at the distortion. It's the same as the one at Hogwarts, but this one won't open for another twenty-four hours. Well since I have time, let's set some traps. I got half way through, when Ruby arrived. "Scarlet, have you been waiting long?" Ruby asks, it seems she's a bit upset I beat her. "Watch your step there are traps around, and to answer your question, about an hour or two." I said getting back to laying more traps.

Once I finish, I turn to Ruby and head a bit away from the distortion. "How was it?" I ask dragging her out of the trap zone. "I saw mostly Grim and a woman getting attacked by some blue thing, it had a crown." She said confused. "You found a slime king, they look so surreal, right?" I said thinking about the slimes I saw. "Yes, it was strange but it was weak." She said with a look of remembrance.

"This one will take about twenty-two hours, but it could be sooner." I take out a weapon I've been making, and start working on it. "Ohhhh, a new weapon, looks fancy." Ruby said looking at it. "Your one to talk with Crescent Rose, aren't you?" I ask looking at her, she just smiled. Looking back at the weapon trying a new technique, to infuse magic to every part.

"What are you trying to do, I can't tell?" Ruby asks, I look at her with a smile. "I'm infusing every single part with magic, including the screws." I said, passing her another one I was working on. "Give it a try, we've got time to kill." I said, as I continued to work on my weapon.
