Chapter 56 - Chapter 54

As I'm still thinking about worlds, I start getting a strange feeling and a pulling. "Ruby, something is coming, and it might not be friendly." I say, with a serious tone. I start to move to the distortion. I really hope it isn't anything bad, it could be very destructive. "What kind of bad thing?" Ruby asked, looking nervous. "The first time, it was a behemoth, one of the weaker ones. The second time, it was you." I said thinking back, but this time it feels a lot bigger.

"Ruby I need you to go to Dumbledore, and tell him to get all the students in the castle and prepare for a siege." I said thinking things might go very bad. I don't have Sera to help me unseal my power, and depending on the monsters, it can take up to four hours. The bad thing is that I've got a feeling, that this isn't the only one. I make it to the quidditch pitch, and see a massive distortion. What in the world will come out of something that big.

After after about ten minutes, I see a stream of petals fly towards me. Once Ruby arrives, I look at her. "Is the school prepared?" I ask, hoping Dumbledore isn't dumb. "Yes and Professor Dumbledore's on his way." She said looking around for the distortion and by her look of shock, I can tell she can see it. "What's going to come out of there?" She asks, looking at the distortion. "I honestly have no idea, but whatever it is, it's going to be big." I said, hoping it's something we can deal with, with our powers sealed.

"Ruby, I'm going to analyse the distortion, when Dumbledore gets here tell him as much as you want." I said walking over to the distortion. Looking at it, it's got a different composition then the other ones. That could be due to its size, but I don't want to take chances. Looking at the sender, it's just a jumbled mess. And the origin of the realm is jumbled, what's going on.

"Ruby, the worst case is here, I can't make out a sender or origin of the distortion. We might have to unseal our power." I said, then I looked at the newly arrived Dumbledore. "I'm not sure how much Ruby has told you, but there is going to be a massive thing coming in the near future. Looking at the distortion, I can't even say if I can beat it in my current state." I say, looking back at the distortion. "I'll give a optimistic three hours, we should be able to unlock a majority of our power. But I fear this is not the only one." I said, I sat down and started to unlock my power.

"Do you have any idea on what is coming?" Dumbledore asked, he looks at the distortion as well. "Wait, can you see the distortion?" I ask shocked. He just nods and continues to star at the distortion. If Dumbledore can see it, it means that something isn't right. I look at Ruby, who nods and sits to unlock her power. "Dumbledore, do you have any quick means of communication?" I ask looking at him.

"I have a way to contact the ministry, why?" He asked. "We need to know how many of these are around." I said, thinking about how to deal with this. "I'll go make some inquiries, be careful." He said, and I just smile and nod. I watched him run towards the castle. I sigh, hoping I have enough time. I now realise how much I relied on Sera, in these situations. It such a time consuming thing, but it's now something I know I need to work on.

About an hour later, I see Dumbledore running towards us with an unusually solemn face. "There are at least sixteen in London alone." He said, I was shocked, why was there so many. "Ok, have any of them opened yet?" I ask, thinking I might have a chance to get there. "Sadly yes, two in north London, and three in southeast London." He said with worry. "What came out of them, and have they closed?" I ask hoping the ministry will be able to cope. "It was these weird creatures, with mask like things on their faces." He replied.

"That sounds like the Creatures of Grim, a monster that is attracted to the negativity of humans." I said, I think they should be able to cope. As I was about to continue, I hear a massive cracking from the distortion. "You've got to be kidding me." I said look at the crack.
