Meanwhile near the shore line, Aaric was helping Sasha to take her medicines. She had recovered from the fever but it took her two days to regain her consciousness back. Alleyn and Amanda had already returned back from their short holiday, and Aaric continued to work from home.
In the afternoon after helping out Sasha with the bath, she helped her out to lay down on the bed. While she went out of the room to get food for her.
Sasha remained in her room all alone. She was feeling all lonely from inside. Apart from Aaric she could not talk about her feelings with anyone. A lot of thoughts were clouding his mind, yet she did not know how to find answers to those questions.
She knew nothing of this world. The most frightening part was, she knew nothing about herself. How was she supposed to adjust herschel in this world? She could not share what she was feeling inside with anyone.
She looked down at her legs and finally decided to go look for him. With utmost difficulty she slowly stood up but soon stumbled and fell back on the bed. She sighed softly before trying again. This time she tried to grab the stick which was standing near the bed. Although Alleyn had asked her to use that, Aaric felt it was not unnecessary. He said he would help her out wherever she wanted to go.
With one hand she held the end of the bed to support her body while with the other, she stretched it to grab the stick. Slowly and steadily she balanced herself before attempting to take a step forward. She was so nervous that her hand was trembling with which she was holding the stick.
Sasha walked a few steps near the bed, afraid that she might fall anytime. When she felt that she had practiced enough to walk around, she slowly made her way out of the room. She came out of the bedroom and decided to look for Aaric in the study room first.
On her way through the corridor, she walked carefully, With one hand on the wall leaning for support while the other holding the stick. She slowly came near the study room which was just a few steps away. The moment she removed her hand which was on the wall, she lost balance and tripled. The vase which was on the side of the door frame fell from the stand and broke with a loud sound.
'KLAK--'
Aaric was in his study room holding a meeting with the directors. As it was about the time of year end there was a lot to deal with it. Including reviewing some of the old projects and reports, he needs to discuss new projects as well. As all the projects were completed in this year, the new project which they were opting to work on would be the most important project for them in the coming year.
He looked at the time and adjourned the meeting. Remo was sitting on the opposite to Aaric holding a few files in his hands. Some of them were already corrected while on the other files there still some mistakes that needed a thorough review.
Aaric gestured to Remo to quickly hand him those documents first that needed his signatures immediately. As there were only two documents, it did not take much time to be signed.
Amidst while Aaric was going through some documents, there was a loud screaming sound coming from outside. He recognised the voice and rushed out of the room.
Sasha was lying on the floor while the vase was shattered into pieces and there were some scratches on her hands and legs. He quickly bent down and carried her in his arms inside the study room. He retrieved the first aid box and asked Remo to make a move first. Remo nodded his head and took the remaining files with him.
Sasha watched as Aaric knelt on the ground and helped her apply medicine. She could feel his warmth and noticed with how much care and gently he was applying the medicine. She could no longer contain the rush of emotions in her heart as she instinctively clung onto his neck.
Her sudden attack made Aaric a bit shocked and he could not register what was happening just now. Although from inside he was feeling all spring being blossomed around him but still this movement, he was not expecting this from her until she regained her memories back. He came out of his thoughts when she started whispering something in her sobbing voice...
