I turned around still in his embrace. He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back. He kisses me on the forehead. I wasn't lying, I was in love with this guy, and he loved me. I hugged his neck tight, he held my waist. Then a slow song came on the speakers. He started swaying with my small body in his big arms. He chuckled. It felt too good to be true. When the song ended, he looked down and kissed me. I kissed him back and then carried on hugging him. Then the waiter came up the stairs.
'Sorry the restaurant is closing now.' He said before rushing back down. Dieter took off his jacket and placed it on my shoulders. It smelt like him. He took my hand and walked me down the stairs. We thanked the waiter, payed for the meal and left with his arm around my shoulders.
'Now where too?' I looked at him and laughed.
'I have one more place in mind.' He smiled and winked. We walked down the street. Soon we got to a forest.
'You gonna murder me or something.' I said. He chuckled. We walked through the trees and got to a cliff over looking the entire city. There were all sorts of gorgeous flowers and a bench in the middle. He held my hand and led me to the bench. He sat down and patted the space next to him. I sat down and he pulled me in close his arm wrapped around me and my head on his chest.
'You are full of surprises.' I said, we were both looking at the city. He smiled.
'This is my favourite place to come.' he said, 'It's so peaceful.' He held my hand.
We stayed there snuggling up to each other for a good 45 minutes.
'I need to take you home.' he smiled. I shook my head.
'Hasn't Harper got Freya.' He chuckled. I sat up.
'Fine.' He drove me back in the truck, our hands never once coming apart. We got to the car park of my building.
'I'm going to miss you.' He said. I pulled him in for a kiss.
'I'm going to miss you too.' I told him. He hugged me and I waved him off in the car park. I made my way up to my home. I plonked my bag down and went next door. I walked in.
'Hey Harper! How's Freya bee-' I stopped when I saw Harper, Callum, River and even Bailey turn to look at me. I stepped back a little.
'What is this.' Harper handed me a magazine. The front cover had the headline:
'New Fletcher Fashion model is Dieter Harris's girlfriend.'
The two pictures were one from the shoot and one if me and Dieter holding hands and smiling on the street.
'Oh...' I looked at the magazine. Then Callum handed me a magazine. It was the latest Fletcher Fashion and I was on the front cover.
'Wow...' I said as Freya bounded over to me. I went to stoke her and cuddle her.
'Boyfriend?' Harper looked at me. I nodded. She giggled. 'Is that why you didn't come home last night.' I looked at her and raised an eyebrow. 'Did his ship dock in your port, did the horse take the sugar cube, did his-' Harper said.
'Ok Harper!' I stopped her from saying anything else.
'You're not denying it.' River giggled. I looked at him.
'I know.' I said. Harper laughed.
'Okay changing the subject! A model?' Callum looked at me.
'This guy called James came and gave me his business card yesterday.' I told him.
'So are you leaving Scales?' River asked sadly.
'No, that was my one condition.' I smiled at him. He laughed and hugged me. I almost died from suffocation.
'You have become more successful in two weeks then I have in five years.' Callum looked at me.
'Maybe you can model too?' Bailey nudged Callum.
'Eh?' We both said.
'Think about it! You two look so similar!' She motioned to me and Callum. 'You know what cool pictures could be taken with that.' She said, excitedly.
'That would be cool!' Harper said.
'Why don't you come with me on my next shoot see what they say?' I offered.
'Yeah!' Callum said.
