Chapter 19 - A Whole Rollar Coaster

Callum goes up to the guy, he is smaller then him. He slaps the man's hand off my shoulder.

'You shit!' He said. Callum has a habit of swearing and has a pretty bad mouth.

'Callum...' I tried to stop him but he didn't listen. Callum already has grabbed the guy's shirt. He raised his fist to go punch him in the face. I caught his hand just in time. He looked at me, confused.

'Get in the car.' I told him. He looked like he was about to say something but stopped himself. I turned to the man.

'Ayy mami! Knew you would warm up to me.' That irritated me so much. I grabbed both his shoulders with my hands and kicked him where it hurts. He now might be infertile. He collapsed on the ground and I rushed into the car.

'You good?' Callum asked sounding a little shocked. I sighed and looked at him.

'That felt good.' I said to him.

'You remind me of you when you were 17.' He laughs. This got me thinking for the rest of the car ride.

When we got to the apartment Callum came in for a coffee.

'You sure you're alright?' he asked.

'Yes. I'm fine.' I laughed.

'Got any plans tomorrow?' Callum took a sip of his coffee.

'Dieter is taking me out.' I answered. Callum spit a little coffee back out.

'Already?' He said. I raised an eyebrow at him. 'Do you know what you're doing.' he asked.

'No. Do you?' I said, now. knowing that he has spoken to Dieter.

'Aha...no...' Callum said, awkwardly.

'Right...' I said.

'Well I should be getting off. Get some rest, sister dearest.' He left as quickly as he could. I changed into my Pyjamas and got into bed. Freya was snoozing on my bed. I cuddled up to her and almost immediately fell asleep.

I woke up to the traffic outside. The date was in the evening so I had a while yet. I put on some casual clothes and went on a walk with Freya. It was a beautiful day, the sky was clear so it would be perfect to watch a sunset tonight. While on the walk, I saw a market and did a bit of food shopping. I was wondering around the market when a man in a suit appeared.

'Hello.' he held his hand out.

'Hello? Can I help you?' I asked, keeping still.

'Ah, yes. My apologies. My name is James Connerly. I'm the assistant to Lee Fletcher.' He explained.

'As in Fletcher Fashion magazine?' I said, a little surprised and wondering why he was talking to me.

'Indeed. Mr Fletcher has seen you around town and would like to offer you a job.' He said, handing me a business card.

'Okay...What's the job, organising closets or something?' I scanned the business card.

'No.' He chuckled. 'He wants to offer you a job as a model.' I looked at him, eyes wide. 'I understand it's a big decision. Take your time to answer and just call the first number on the card. I hope to see you soon.' He left, leaving me stood there in shock.

I was walking back home. I was thinking about the modeling. I didn't want to leave my job with River, despite of the situation yesterday. Maybe it could be a part time job? When I got back. I cooked a meal and ate it on the balcony, it was lovely. Afterwards, I had a mini movie marathon. I was about half way through the third film when I noticed the time. It was 5.00. The date was in an hour. I decided to forget about the modelling thing for now. I didn't want to leave Freya alone again so I dropped her off at Harper's. I showered and chose an outfit. I put on a tight yellow skirt and a cropped t-shirt with sunflowers on it. I put on some gorgeous sandals then styled my hair in a low messy bun at the back of my head. I applied a little makeup and finished the movie. A couple of minutes passed and I heard a knock at the door. I went to it and Dieter was behind it. He was wearing a red button up with jeans, looking stunning. He was holding a bouquet of flowers in his hands.

'Hiya.' he said as I opened the door. He handed me the flowers and I set them aside in my apartment. He took my hand and led me to the car park. He had rented a pick up truck with blankets and pillows in the back. I gasped and smiled at him. He chuckled his fabulous chuckle and opened the car door for me. I hopped in.

'You look stunning.' he told me.

'Thank you. So do you.' I said with a wink. He smiled and drove us to a field filled with little baby pink flowers.

'It's gorgeous.' I said.

'It is.' he agreed while jumping out. He took my hand and helped me out of the truck then he picked me up gently. It made me giggle and smile. He carefully placed me in the back of the truck and grabbed a bag from the back seat. He popped it with me in the back of the truck, then climbed in himself. The bag was full of snacks and drinks. He opened some chocolates. We were laughing, snuggled so close together under the blankets and munching on the chocolates. He stroked my hair as we watch the sunset.

'Arabelle?' Dieter said, his voice a little wobbly.

'Yeah?' I asked eyes still on the sunset. He sighed.

'I really like you. I never want to lose you...ever.' He said. I felt my cheeks blush. He sighed again. 'I would love to call you mine. So Miss Arabelle Grayson, will you be my girlfriend?' I looked up at him. He was blushing like crazy, looking down and fiddling with a chocolate wrapper but smiling. I took his face in my hands. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him on his lovley lips. I rested my forehead on his.

'Of course I will.' I whispered to him. He hugged me tighter and smiled wider then ever. I was now Dieter Harris's girlfriend.
