The next morning, Sona woke up around six.
Yesterday's brain mashing experience made her numb as well as learning that she could make sounds. She finally accepted that now since she was now living in someone else's body so it started not to surprise her as badly as it did last night.
The doctor and the nurse came in again after some time and saw Sona sitting up straight against the hospital bed looking at the window. "Good morning, how are you feeling."
Sona looked at the doctor who spoke and smiled, "I am doing better now, thank you."
Although she spoke fluently, she still felt uncomfortable speaking, so she immediately went silent after answering.
Both the nurse and the doctor was surprised at first, but fell into joy being able to see that their long bedridden patient starting to get better. They immediately did a quick check on Sona, before discussing plans to recover from her bedridden state.
Sona learned that she was in the hospital for several months which surprised her.
As they talked about her recovery plan, she agreed to their proposal after all she too notice how weak her body was after being bedridden.
Sona slowly trained her muscles such as her arms and legs in various exercises the hospital provided. Her body felt very heavy, something she realized after some time. She was so used to hover over the ground, though she could walk in her old life, but this body now was so weak and it just felt so weird.
A week has passed, the doctor was surprised how fast Sona was recovering. After a few more days, Sona was able to fully recover her ability to walk.
"Thank you for your hospitality and helping me recover," Sona gave a slight bow to show respect. "If I remember correctly, I have to worry about the medical bills for my recovery, May I know how much do I owe?"
Although Sona was able to talk now, she still has this uncomfortableness that bothers her. So, she mostly stayed silent as she always has been, putting her mind at ease unless there was a moment of need.
"You don't have to worry, there was a young man that brought you hear and paid for everything and wanted us to give you the best treatment to save you," the doctor shook his head meaning there was no need for payment. "When you were given to us, most of the doctors believe you would not last long even if surgery was successful since your body was half-dead or just about."
The doctor spoke a bit more about the day when their hospital received her, the young man that brought you in was in tears, begged, and cried out loud to the staff members to save her. It was an emotional moment.
'It looks like my savior really cared about Sonia...' Sona couldn't help but feel jealous because, in her life, she never was able to get into any relationships because of how famous she was and people, in general, being indecent.
Of course, back in her old world she could have played her etwahl and manipulate them to become someone more idea, but it didn't felt right for her so she didn't.
'I'm surprised that the young man never returned to the hospital to see her nor gave his name to the hospital.' Sona pondered, 'Something made me feel like I or at least Sonia know this person'
Sona has always been smart at understanding people. Personality, emotions; thoughts, nothing can escape her. Well, most people, there are certain people that no one understands, and those were "Summoners."
'Summoner...' Sona somehow started to feel emotional again thinking about certain memories to herself. That one summoner was stuck in her mind, making her feel depressed. There was a sense of longing in her eyes and a slight bit of sadness.
After having her little depressed moment, she started thinking about her situation currently 'Since this body has been saved by my savior giving me a new life, it's only right to repay this debt.'
She accepted the fact, although this person was not someone she personally longed, he was the reason why she's alive.
The nurse helped her switch from hospital gown to more normal clothes. Sona now wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. Her bit busty but slender figure felt a bit tight in her new clothes.
Looking herself in the mirror, she could not help admire her curvy legs. Her face turn slightly red.
'I'll definitely get myself a long dress in the future'
The next step of her new life was to leave the hospital after checking out. Although the memories of her predecessor already given me insight about everything, she could not help but be amazed seeing the world with her own eyes.
The first thing she noticed was that there were so many different kinds of people walking through the streets. Vehicles on four wheels made of metal, the clothing of different styles, and the expressions of everyone's faces doing different activities holding all sorts of emotions.
After viewing the scenery for a bit, Sona began to walk "home". After Sonia's parents died, all their property fell in her ownership. There was a two-story which she lives not too far from where she was at. From the hospital to the house, it would take bout 30 minutes of walking distance.
The city was not as bright as Demacia, and the architecture was really simple. The sky was dark, somewhat covered in smoke, reminding her of stories from Zaun and their pollution.
As Sona walked, she recalled about what Sonia's personality was like. She was a really really bad 'girl'. Of course, this was after her parent's deaths, because before that she was a really obedient and kind-hearted child that was really good at music which pretty much matches Sona's childhood.
Luckily, Sonia didn't do drugs or do any inappropriate experiences during her time being alive. Of course, there was no evading lustful peers, those kinds of people are everywhere, even on the street right now as Sona is walking.
Sonia also had a strong resentment going to school, and these feelings were built up during a time when she could still be called a good kid. She was bullied a lot.
When she was still delicate like a flower, there where many girls that detested her because of her beauty, knowledge, and musical talent, getting all the attention of the guys in class. So they would often mess with her desk, steal some belongings, or make some stupid accidents like spelling water as they 'tripped'.
After the death of her parents, she stopped going to school for a period of time and just wandered around with her lost thoughts. One day she had a visit from an old friend from middle school, as of at that time both of them were sophomores being the 2nd year of high school.
The friend was the definition of a trouble maker, but Sonia didn't mind him after all he was really the only friend she had growing up and admire. He was also the reason why Sonia had a 180-degree personality change.
Sonia joined his so-called gang, which was the same one she was still in when she died. She was crowned as an 'empress' of their group, she was not weak, but smart and bear fangs.
After some time, she finally made it home. It was strange to see a place which actually belonged to her.
