The next morning Sona was fully dressed up in her normal clothes that she found in her closet getting ready for school.
She was now currently wearing a light blue Midi skirt that went past her knees along with a white long sleeve top.
Any young teenage male would probably stare at her with their tongue out. The only thing that messes up her image was her school bag that she was carrying.
Her school bag had a dark black and grey texture with a white skull which has its jaw wide open as if it was screaming in agony.
It did not fit Sona's current appearance at all but what can she do. The school bag was the only one she could find. Originally it did not look like what it is now, It was more of a brown leather color and had a simpler style not too showy.
The way she walked out of her room, she was as elegant as if a noble of high class showing off with every step having a purpose. It was a skill she learned back when she still often walked instead of hovering over the ground.
Oh well, she didn't mean to make herself look good on purpose, just her habits that she grew up with back in runeterra made it where she couldn't even appear bad even if she tried. She was pretty much indifferent.
Pencils... Check
Notebooks...
Bottle of water.
Pens...
After looking in her bag one more time, she closed her bag and went out and closed the front door.
The current time was 7:00 AM and school does not start until 7:20 AM.
Sona remembered that there was a bus stop near her home that could take her to school, it was just down the road by the three-way intersection.
This bus stop was not only for high school students, but also for elementary school and middle school as well. Only high schoolers have their own bus while elementary and middle school have to share.
Walking down the street, Sona noticed that there were already other students waiting for the bus as well. Sona herself was fairly quiet the whole time as she sat down against the tree next to the sidewalk.
In total there were 7 people at the spot, 2 girls including her and 5 guys.
The other teenagers never noticed her whole entire time as they waited for the bus to arrive. Besides Sona being silent as a factor to their obliviousness, they themselves were distracted at the rectangular box in their hands.
That's right, they were distracted looking at their phones.
Not long after, the bus finally arrived, just as that happened, everyone besides Sona mindlessly out of habit walked to the bus doors without looking up away from their phones.
Sona who was the last person to board the bus and was immediately stopped. There was an Old man sitting on the driver's seat held out his hand.
"Hey miss, are you sure you're getting on the right bus?" The bus driver looked at Sona with confusion.
Sona opened her bag and took out her School ID to prove she was a student where this bus was heading to. Although the school picture was a lot different from what she looks like now, there were some similarities such as her blue-dyed blue hair and facial features that can be seen.
After that Sona was clear to walk down the alley on the bus to find a seat.
The door closed behind her, Sona scanned around looking for a seat where she could be by herself.
It was only now that people started to notice there was someone new on the bus.
"Who is she?"
"Oh, a beauty? did your car break down?"
"Hey girl, I have space right next to me, come have a seat."
...
Sona only smiled as she continued to walk down the aisle.
She finally reached the end of the bus, there was an entire row that was empty and Sona happily sat down.
The students that watched her sit down had their eyes wide open. Their expressions looked like they had seen the gates of hell opened up.
Sona who had good awareness noticed their expressions and could not help but feel something was off.
"Um... girl, I recommend not sitting in the back seat."
?!
Sona opened her school bag once more and took out her drawing notebook and a pen. She did not want to talk so she wrote down a response, "Why?"
Some people looked at her weird, 'why don't? speak?'
The person who spoke to Sona fell into a daze for a short moment before continuing, "That seat you sitting in is forbidden... It has been said that the empress of a local gang use to sit there and people who sat in her seat were often beaten by the gang leaders men..."
After hearing what that guy said Sona's mind froze for a moment 'Oh yeah.... that'
That's right, the empress was actually her...
Sona could not help but cry inwardly, should she tell them that the empress he's talking about was her? As of now, she wanted to stay low key so she thought of a quick lie to make it less concerning so they wouldn't worry.
She flipped to a new page on her drawing notebook and started writing a response.
Once she was done she looked at him with an innocent smile and flipped the notebook around, "Don't worry, I am actually good friends with the empress you were talking about, I'm sure she wouldn't mind me taking her seat for a while."
Even though Sona herself had been gone for quite some time, she didn't expect that the gang would still be remembered to continue these pointless practices.
Sona was basically a vegetable state when she was at the hospital, it was probably natural that she was dead, many did see her motionless on the ground with a pipe going through her. This must have been a memorial for her or something stupid along those lines.
That being said, the people around her immediately turn to focus on something else not wanting to have anything to do with her. Anyone who was part of the gang meant bad news for them.
Peace and quiet, where the only thing she could hear is the wind from outside and the tires treading on the road. Sona herself actually liked it, for the rest of the ride she looked out the window to enjoy the scenery.
