Leon froze for a second, his mind rippling at the effects of Arthur's words.
Even after he left Arthur's room, and headed back for his own shared house in Parachenko Village did this words still remain in the depths of Leon's mind.
'I still do care about my family....'.
Leon showed a self-depreciating expression as he shook his head from side to side.
"Why was I even worried?", he questioned.
Even if Arthur was acting weird, or acting colder than what he usually did, it wasn't as though he didn't stray from his core beliefs.
No matter what happened, Arthur would still always be his younger brother.
And no matter what, Leon would always remain as his older brother.
Nothing could ever change that.
Leon smiled as he glanced back at the Clan Leaders Residence, cradling the small piece of paper he had in hand.
He would always place the Clan ahead of himself, but that didn't mean that Arthur would have to follow that belief. Arthur placed his own family ahead of the Clan, which pulled at Leon's heartstrings.
.... If only both of them believed what their hearts told them.
Arthur placed several Fae containment boxes on the floorboards in his room. The two headless bodies of the Marina Clan members directly beside them.
It hadn't even been a day yet, so their origin essence seas hadn't fully crumbled in nothingness.
Rank 2 Fae Masters origin essence seas could last about 48 hours after their deaths before fading away, returning to dust.
All of the Fae inside their bodies couldn't escape until the last few moments, when holes started appearing within the origin essence sea.
Arthur gathered a bundle of origin essence into the palms of his hand before reaching down and placing his hands on the chest of the first body.
This was the one that Arthur killed while using the camouflage fae.
This particular fae Master focused on defense, and his Fae were primarily Earth Attributed Fae, and a couple of Rank 1 Wood Attributed Fae.
Out of everything he could find within the first body Arthur obtained:
Rank 2 Earth Attributed Fae, Stone Wall Fae.
Rank 2 Earth Attributed Fae, Earth Thorn Fae.
Rank 1 Earth Attributed Fae, Muddy Puddle Fae.
Rank 1 Earth Attributed Fae, Rock Sphere Fae.
Rank 1 Wood Attributed Fae, Grass Regeneration Fae.
And Rank 1 Wood Attributed Fae, Leaf Hiding Fae.
All of which were pretty average, with the exception of the grass regeneration fae.
The grass regeneration fae was a healing type fae, which unfortunately could only heal the user by eating grass. The grass regeneration fae itself actually ate a Rank 1 Fae material Blue River Grass, which was easy to find and usually found in large amounts.
The others were.... not bad, not definitely not what Arthur was looking for.
"But the other one-".
Arthur placed the Fae in the Fae containment boxes and moved his focus to the other headless body.
"This one should have a couple that I like".
The Rank 2 Wind Blade Fae, and the Rank 2 Air Presence Fae were extremely beneficial to the current Arthur.
He might be able to only get a single use out of either of them with his current abilities, but still, that didn't mean to say that the future Arthur couldn't get a use out of them.
The other Fae that Arthur found inside the body were:
Rank 2 Wind Attributed Wind Stalker Fae
Rank 2 Wind Attributed Wind Blade Fae
Rank 2 Wind Attributed Air Presence Fae
Rank 2 Water Attributed Water Stream Fae
Rank 1 Wind Attributed Wind Blade Fae
Rank 1 Wind Attributed Air Dome Fae
Rank 1 Wind Attributed Breath Fae
"A water stream fae? Isn't that the evolution of the stream fae?".
Arthur thought for a moment before remembering the evolution requirements for the stream fae.
One needed to place stream fae in a large bucket and fill it to the brim with Spirit Water and Heavy Water. After that, they needed to place a Blue Spirit Flower on top of the water and wait for the Heavy Water to pull it down towards the stream fae.
Once the Blue Spirit Flower reached the stream fae, it would start to eat it, and under the influence of the Heavy Water, the power within the Blue Spirit Flower would be released and start to change the stream fae.
The process was relatively simple and wouldn't take more than an hour or two but once it was completed, the stream fae would become the water stream fae.
The difference between the stream fae and the water stream fae was like comparing a light drizzle to a thunderstorm.
If two Rank 2 Fae Masters were to go head to head, one with the stream fae and the other with the water stream fae, the one with the stream fae would lose, nine out of ten times.
It wasn't a case of whose technique was better, it was a case of the water stream fae destroying the stream fae when they come into contact.
Higher Ranked Fae that collide against lower Ranked Fae, in most cases destroy the latter.
Of course, if it is the water stream fae and say a Rank 1 Dirt Wall Fae, then things would be different.
Arthur frowned for a moment before smiling slightly seeing the two Fae hidden within the origin essence sea.
One of them was the blood essence gathering tree which he waited a month for it form. It had yet to properly sprout, but one could see the faint crimson coloured stem that had just poked out of the already large and vigorous root system below.
The other one was-.
"Hmm?".
Arthur's eyebrows raised slightly as his eyes narrowed at the small red coloured tree in his hands.
The tree itself had only just sprouted, but it possessed quite a few strange, dark blue coloured leaves causing Arthur to frown deeply as he closely examined the Fae in his hands.
".... It's too dark to be the water essence gathering tree. And it's not dark enough to be the water blood gathering tree. Is it perhaps something different? Maybe a Water Rose Fae? Or some sort of variation or something?".
Arthur shook his head as he delved into the depths of his memories, trying his best to remember just what type of Fae he had in his hands.
If he didn't know what type of Fae this was, he might not be able to feed it. And if he couldn't feed it, it would die, and end up being worthless for Arthur in both the short, and long term.
The faint outline of a Fae, from several hundred years ago came to Arthur's mind.
Arthur raised an eyebrow, but shook his head while chuckling slightly.
"No.... It couldn't be. That Fae is practically extinct, and even the Nine Seas Theology and the Cult Of The Sun only have one in their entire Reserves. The materials for it can't even be found in Human Heaven. They can only be found in Ocean Heaven....".
Arthur shook his head again, but the idea kept sprouting back up in his mind.
He bit his bottom lip.
"If this is what I think it is.... then things might just get a little bit interesting....".
