Arthur spent the rest of the night cultivating trying to close the border between his liquid quartz origin essence and solid quartz origin essence. With the assistance from both the bloodseeker leaf fae, and the vein limit fae, his cultivation speed was only exceeded by Andrea at the same level.
Arthur let out a breath of turbid air before standing up and stretching his body.
Last night, during dinner, he had mentioned the trip into the forest to his Father, who didn't particularly say much, and just nodded at Arthur's words.
His third born son did catch him in a compromising position, so it was best to wait a couple days for the whole thing to be forgotten.
One of the Elders that was in charge of the Lecture Hall did also mention this trip to the forests within his Kovacs Clan territory, and supported it.
With at least two Elders and the protectors he had assigned to Andrea, there would be at least a minimum of four Rank 2 or higher Fae Masters present.
Not to mention Arthur, who could provide support if he really needed to.
In addition, getting these particular generation of Kovacs used to the notion of taking a life would be something beneficial for their future.
Even if it was just taking the life of a deer, or a rabbit with their bare hands would make them less likely to tense up, when doing this to a person.
After Arthur had taken a life, Niklos realised the importance of this in regards to the entire Clan.
Some of the female members from his generation had fought with demonic or Fae Masters from another Clan and had been defeated or killed as a result of showing mercy or hesitation.
He couldn't let such a thing happen to this one, the most talented and important generation within the past decade.
Within the Clan Leaders residence, Arthur had taken to practicing the use of his new fae.
Here, he didn't need to worry about being watched, or having his secrets used against him by this currently unknown Elder.
The combination of metal arms fae, halberd fae and woodpecker fae were dangerous when used against Fae Masters of the same Rank, and with Arthur's skills, he would be able to defeat some vapour ruby origin essence Rank 2 Fae Master if he could catch them off guard.
Killing someone like Leon or Dominic? He probably wouldn't stand a chance, even with his combat abilities.
They had too many Fae for Arthur to counter, and if they wanted too, they could drag out the battle and force Arthur to use up all of his origin essence.
After that, even someone like Arthur would be easy picking against someone like Randolf.
"I'll see you two guys later, alright?".
Arthur's twin younger siblings, Ivan and Ivanka nodded happily as Arthur patted their heads.
He gave his mother a small smile before leaving the Clan Leaders residence and feeling the eyes of someone on him the moment he stepped out the door.
His expression turned into one of distaste for a fraction of a second, before Arthur regained his normal expression and started walking towards Andrea's house.
He needed to keep acting normal, and pretend that nothing was wrong until the time was right.
Unlike this geezer who spends his entire time spying on a fifteen year old Rank 1 Fae Master, Arthur knew the value of patience.
'Hell, even that idiot Randolf knows what patience means. That foreigner has some idea of what I intend to do with Andrea, but he's waiting for the right time to show his usefulness. Compared to this old fart, hell, even Zoya is better than him'.
Arthur let out a small sigh before turning a corner.
He could see Andrea waiting outside her house a couple of notebooks in hand, and she instantly turned her head the moment Arthur came around the corner, smiling at him while waving.
Arthur showed the same expression and the pair walked towards each other while turning another corner towards the Lecture Hall.
The pair chatted for a bit before the walked past a small chicken coop, causing Arthur to lower his voice.
"I asked the Lecture Hall Elder something yesterday, as well as my Father".
He showed a slightly mischievous look on his face as Andrea raised an eyebrow.
Her tone slightly intimate.
"Oh? And what would that be?".
She moved her shoulder closer towards Arthur's, and the latter did the same to her.
His smile grew.
"I asked if we could all go into the forest for a day. The entire class".
Andrea's eyes widened and her mouth dropped a little.
"Wait, really!? You just got your hand fixed and all of a sudden you want to go back out there again?".
Arthur waved it off, not using his scared hand.
"Trust me. This little field day will have at least four Rank 2 or higher Fae Masters come with us as we explore the Kovacs Clan territory. The forests outside the Clan are open and completely free. And, there won't be as many people around....".
Arthur's voice trailed off at the end there, but Andrea's face turned slightly red.
She punched Arthur in his arm and sped forward a little bit, not enough to put any distance between them.
She turned her head slightly as she smiled towards Arthur.
"Your incorrigible Arthur. Nothing like the gentlemen I thought you were".
Arthur rolled his eyes at her words and increased his walking speed even further, so that he was now in front of her.
"You're completely right Andrea. I'm a horrible, voracious and lascivious person who does nothing but think of wine and women all day.... But what does that make you, someone who hangs about a distasteful individual?".
Her mouth dropped slightly and her eyes widened as she raised her hand trying to punch Arthur's arm again.
The young girl felt her hand collide with nothing as Arthur side stepped away from her blow.
The girl narrowed her eyes at Arthur, but the latter just winked and dodged another strike.
Arthur dodged a flurry of playful jabs and punches as the pair slowly, but surely headed towards the Lecture Hall.
A certain old man, with closed eyes smirked slightly as he listened to their conversation.
'A trip outside the Village? It seems that the Heavens are favouring me', he thought to himself.
Never once did Elder Stas even think that Arthur had ever found out that he was spying on him. Nor did he ever once think that this "little trip" was a way of drawing him out into the open.
All Stas currently cared about, was finding out what secrets Arthur hid within him.
