"Answer me, Lil bean!" Steven yelled.
"I am NOT." Mia stressed her words.
"There's no need to hide it from me. I don't mind if you bring girls home." He said while pinching his brow.
"All I need is a grandchild. We can always adopt one or visit a sperm store!"
"Dad" Marvin sighed deeply.
"My grandchild would be having two mothers. Woah, that would be great." Steven clapped in excitement.
"Dad, she isn't." Elisa entered the house.
Steven pouted in disappointment.
"How can you be so sure?" He retorted.
"If that was the case, I would have never been her best friend." She explained while passing few bags to the maid.
"That makes sense." He sighed.
"You like men or, " Before he could continue, Mia cleared his confusion,
"I like Men. I don't like women nor Am I asexual. Is it enough for the day? Or you still wanna embarrass me?"
"That's great. I will go and search for some good boys. I might find my ideal Son-In-Law." Patting her head, he continued,
"Li bean, I am a broad-Minded Father so there's no need to hide even if you like women. Ok? I will protect you n your partner from the cruel world. So, "
"I know I know. Now stop embarrassing me. Most the maids are already thinking to quit their jobs because of your bold statement." Mia replied.
Patting her head with a smile, he walked towards his room.
"It's alright. Dad is just much excited about your marriage." Elisa hugged her.
With a deep sigh, Mia nodded and walked towards her room.
His eyes never crossed her the moment she entered the room.
Gulping in nervousness, Elisa started walking towards her room.
As she passed him, his hand suddenly held her wrist.
"Mervin, I am clear from the start. Nothing can work between us so, "
Before she could continue, he released her with a sigh.
"89th rejection." He mumbled.
...
Later that night.
Dining hall.
Everything was silent except the maids serving the four.
"Mia." Steven gestured her to come close.
"Did they settle or is he still courting her?" He whispered.
"She more like rejected him 100 times. Don't worry, I will do my best to pair them up." She made a fighting gesture.
Steven nodded with a smile.
"Hmm, Elisa did you meet that guy?"
"Ugh Ugh Ugh." Elisa started choking.
"You didn't. Sigh, he was damm pretty." Mia shrugged her shoulders.
"Ohh Yes, Bro did that A-List artist approached you? I heard from Gabriel that she really likes you."
"Ugh, we just went on a date." He said while looking at Elisa.
"Good. That's good. You should go out and you both would sure look good. OMG, my Sister-In-Law would be an A-list actress. I can brag about it all day."
"I won't mind if my wife is a deactivate too."
"Ugh Ugh Ugh Ugh."
His statement baffled everyone.
'Good One Bro.' Mia winked at him while Elisa was busy fiddling her fork.
While Steven was busy watching her expressions.
...
Next day.
"I need only bro's and dada's car before she comes out. Got it, Uncle Kim?" Mia said while sipping her protein shake.
"I got it, Young Miss." The butler nodded and left the place.
...
"Not even a single car?" Elisa questioned looking at her watch.
The butler shook his head.
"Ma'am, Young Master will leave soon. You can ask him for a lift." He added.
"Sigh, it's ok. Will hail a cab." Elisa was about to walk out when someone snatched her bag.
"Your office is on my way." Marvin said while walking towards the garage.
With a deep sigh, she followed him.
As soon as they left, Mia came out of the pillar and squealed in happiness.
Taking out her phone, she dialled Gabriel.
"Hey, Gab. They just left. Make sure that artist meets them by coincidence."
"No No, don't bother with that. That artist really wanna cling his thigh so don't worry she will sure act intimate seeing other women beside him."
"Ok, Bye-bye."
"Good job Mia." She patted her shoulder.
"So?" Steven asked while walking down the stairs.
"So, it's a perfect 'make her jealous, to bring them close' Plan." Mia tugged his hand.
"So tell me now. I am the world's best Matchmaker. Don't I?" Mia asked in gleam.
"Sure Sure. After all, you share my genes." He answered with a grin.
"Do not! do not tell me, " Mia Crossed her arms with a huff,
"Get ready. You have a date tonight. He is actually the best." Steven replied with a huge grin.
"Dada, not again."
"You have too. I am going to be late. I have a meeting at the base." He said while adjusting his badges.
Wearing his black beret, he ruffled her hair and walked out.
...
Evening.
Mia's Room.
"Mia wake up." Elisa tugged her quilt.
"Argh, let me sleep."
"It's 6. Dad will kill you for sure."
With that, she removed the quilt.
"Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh." Mia screamed in annoyance.
"Which one?" Elisa opened her walk-in closet.
Taking out a white gown, she shoved it in her hands.
"It's not my wedding." Mia threw it aside.
With a deep sigh, Elisa took out a black sequin dress,
"Here, a short dress and a pair of white shoes. Your casuals."
"It's too eye-catching and to add up I am not going for clubbing." Mia retorted.
"Girl, what's running in your mind?" Elisa crossed her arms.
"Nothing. You shoo off. I will come in a bit."
Mia grinning while dragging her out.
"Don't be stupid. He is someone special and dad really adores him a lot. To add up, dad, "
"I know I know. You just get out of my sight." Pushing her out, Mia squealed.
...
10 minutes later.
Mia came out wearing a High Waist Suspender Denim Skirt with a pink long-sleeved tee. It was completely a normal outfit letting Elisa frown in dismay.
Even though her beauty overpowered but still Elisa was at least expecting her to be a little formal.
Wearing a pink cap, Mia took out her mask and walked down.
"I will be leaving then."
Steven nodded happily.
Tugging her hand, Elisa started her lecture,
"Make sure to be good. No pouring wine or worst beating the guy. No blackmailing nor being mentally handicapped. If you pull these old tricks again, "
"Don't worry. Don't worry. I will be good."
Entering her car, Mia rolled down the glass and said,
"I have a new trick under my sleeve. Don't worry I won't let that man fall for me at one glance." With that, she drove off at high speed.
"This girl." Elisa sighed deeply.
...
President's palace.
Addressing his brown tie which she had touched, Ian grinned.
He walked downstairs and Noah tailed him.
"Bro Bro, where are you going?"
"Somewhere special."
"Don't tell to meet that hooligan."
"No, I am going on a date. Dad asked me to meet a pretty lady." Ian replied with a smile.
"Woah Woah. That's great."
"I am glad you moved on. You deserve anyone else but not that hooligan." Noah sighed happiness.
"By the way, who is that lady?" Noah asked.
"Mia Brown." Ian said while walking towards the door.
"Ohh, that's great." Noah nodded his head.
He pounced on the couch and soon widened his eyes.
"Wait bro wait." After realising who she actually was Noah rushed out. But too late his brother was already on his way to meet his feisty queen.
...
Mia parked her car and looked at the hotel.
With a deep sigh, she wore her mask and cap and walked inside.
Terrace.
The whole arena was covered in outdoor lanterns and in the centre was a table with two chairs. The visual was no less than a fairy tale but too bad Mia was not at all interested in it.
But what gained Mia's attention was the silhouette of a man standing all tall, looking at the sky. As she reached the table, the silhouette was captivating enough to gain her attention.
Shooing away her thoughts, Mia coughed to gain the man's attention.
Ian smiled, taking his hands out of his pockets he adjusted his tie and turn around.
What welcomed him was her golden eyes which always fluttered his heart.
"Hi." He grinned walking towards her.
She was stupified, her world was shattered, her mind went blank.
She was brought back with his tap on the shoulder.
Smacking his hand, she glared at him.
"You You You. What the f are you doing here?" She pointed her finger right in front of his face.
"I am your date." He said while swirling her finger with his pinky making her huff in annoyance.
