City M.
Looking at the huge bungalow, Noami sighed.
The gates opened and the road to the hell was beautiful for the eyes.
The huge bungalow stood tall around the street with zero houses surrounding it. The area was quiet except the barking dogs.
Built-in the Victorian era, it was a lavish treat to the eyes.
As she stood in front of the big door, her heart started to beat louder and faster.
And as it was opened, the pitch dark hall welcomed her.
"Seems like we a guest to treat." The voice came through the steps and as she walked down the lights started to bright the huge hall one by one.
Sitting on the huge throne, the woman was no less than a witch.
The only motto she had was to rule the world, rule the entire earth.
Her aura was murderous but her smile had the power to bewitch everyone in her trap.
"So, what brings you here?" Sipping the freshly made wine, she scanned Naomi.
"Ma'am, I don't think I can do this."
"Haha, then why did I raise you all these days?"
"Bu Bu She is your, "
"Is she your sister? Your best friend?"
"No No Ma'am. Bu, "
"If you can't do such an easy task, then it was truly waste feeding you."
"Ma'am, "
"Even street dogs are better than you."
"Ma, "
"Stop consoling me. Either do or die."
"I Can-Can do, "
"Stop it, Naomi. I am tired. You have 10 seconds. Either do or die."
"Ma'"
"Let's cut it to 5 seconds." The lady declared.
"Time up. Jack."
A man rushed towards them with a sword.
Gulping in nervousness, Naomi said,
"I will do it."
"That's My Girl. And now rather than wasting time move to city A. Jack will arrange a plane for you."
Naomi nodded and wiped her hot tears.
"If you fail, "
"I will kill myself." Naomi said while hugging her trembling shoulders.
"Good. If you don't I have my ways to urge you to kill yourself."
"Jack drop her to the airport."
...
Next day.
"Mia Mia Mia. Wake up." Elisa patted her cheek.
"Argh. Let me sleep."
"You have an interview today. Get up. Your brother is already waiting for you."
Forcing her to sit, Elisa rushed towards the wardrobe.
"Will arrange your clothes. Go and fresh up."
Walking towards her, Mia hugged her tightly.
"I am sorry."
Turning around, Elisa hugged her back.
"It's ok. It was my fault too."
"Hmm. So will you make those pancakes for me?"
"Why should I?"
"Because you pissed me off."
"Girl, stop messing around and get ready."
"Argh, the interview can wait but not my stomach." And soon her stomach grumbled out loud.
"See." Mia mumbled.
Breaking the hug, Elisa pushed her inside the bathroom.
"Some other time. Now get ready."
"But pancakes are my good luck."
"Sigh, I will make it only if you behave!"
She locked the door from outside and said,
"You have 10 minutes to rush."
...
BlueMoon hospital.
"Is it really necessary?" Mia asked while sipping her protein shake.
"It is. No special status." Mervin declared.
Cabin.
"Dr Mathew Ridley, chief general of Blue Moon hospital."
Mia mumbled looking at the sturdy man.
"Hello, Mervin." Mathew hugged his best friend tightly.
"It's been long." Mervin commented.
"Huh, didn't you guys meet last month?" Mia pointed out.
"It's still long for best friends." Mathew glared at her.
Hoping on the couch, Mia grumbled,
"Whatever! Once done with your long chats, wake me from my nap."
"Ahhhhhhhhhh." Mathew pinched her ear harshly.
"This little brat. Will, you ever learn to respect your brothers?"
"Is it important now?" Mia retorted.
"It is if you want the job."
"Ok, I don't want. I am going." Mia was about to barge out when Mathew held her hand.
"Behave and sit on the chair."
Taking his seat, Mathew said,
"Let's start the interview."
"I am not interested." Mia grumbled to which both glared.
"You guys already know my scores and also my speciality. So, don't you think it's useless?"
"Stop bragging about the scores. You are brilliant we know but being a doctor requires empathy got it empathy."
"Ahh ahh, I know I know."
Mia massaged her temples.
"Isn't she overconfident?" Mathew looked at Mervin.
"It's your fault to start with. Who told to boost her and offer her to join your hospital? If not that 'You are most welcome to join us as a doctor' statement, she would have taken the normal process and would have got her position." Mervin explained out.
"Karma is really a bitch." Mumbling it, Mathew looked at Mia and spoke up,
"Now, explain the open-heart surgery procedure."
With a grin, Mia rubbed her hands and answered,
"Why not I show it up?"
"You mean?" Mathew squinted his eyes.
"Of course open up your heart."
Mervin controlled his chuckle.
"You brat."
" I would love to show my talent."
"The only reason I tolerated you is because of him." Mathew glared.
"Ohh sure sure." Mia teased him.
"City B, Christian Medical College, the tall girl I mean my senior." Mia narrated the old story.
"Mia, you are crossing your limits." Mathew burst out.
"Lil bean. Stop it." Mervin requested controlling his laugh.
Mia nodded and explained the whole procedure.
The question and answer session continued for an hour and finally, Mia was selected.
"Once completing your internship, you can work and continue your studies." Mathew said with a smile.
Mathew was truly impressed by her answers especially the short tricks she pointed out in between her answers.
...
Wandering around the hospital, Mia took a deep breath.
"Ahh, this feels so amazing. Mia here starts your new adventure."
As she scanned around, a particular figure caught her eyes.
Mia walked closer and frowned.
"You?"
