"Anuk-rahman" Alea simply says and a ring of fire forms around her. Her sleeve burns off to reveal the mark of the sun. But this time the mark had extended to her back and torso, forming a constellation with two moons, five stars, and a fully orange sun.
"Alea, what's that?" Feri asks, guarded.
"It's the mark of the sun god, Ituli. When I was younger, I was given as a sacrifice to him by a cult" she explains with a sigh.
"You're a daughter of the moon, princess of Elves. It's a long way from Nriaia from here princess. Why are you here?" Kohra says, leaning forward. Her chin rested on her palm and her expression shows her amusement.
"She looks nothing like an elf" Sol argues.
"Have you seen an elf before then, King Sol?" Kohra asks with a smirk. He's unable to reply. Elves aren't native to the Quitri continent. She moves closer to Alea and the ring of fire dies out.
"Like I asked, what are you doing here, daughter of the moon?"
"I ran from home"
"How long have you been here?"
"About eight years"
"You're foolish. You're still young. How old are you? Hundred perhaps?"
"A hundred and twenty" Alea answers with a bite of her lips.
"Wait, when we found you, you looked like a ten-year-old. You grew up like a normal person"
"She is an elf King Sol, she can alter her body from the inside. Night elves are especially proficient in that" Kohra replies.
"Elves grow slowly. A hundred-year-old elf isn't that different from a ten-year-old human in appearance.
I saw a prophesy when I was younger in the royal archives.
It said the daughter of the moon would merge with the sun and destruction would be wrought on the world.
I used to think the prophesy was about me since Muni is also represented as the moon. But I saw the picture of an elf that was ripped out from the book and hidden. That was you"
"If you can't help me or kill me, please let me go and seek someone else's help to get rid of this curse. I didn't ask for this. I don't want it" Alea says tiredly.
"You can't die, little princess, that mark protects you. Until he resurrects, you would have that mark. Thankfully, you don't have to wait long. He's on his way"
As soon as Kohra said that, the ground begins to shake. The sky turns back and thunder rumbles. Kohra grins and begins to float. Alea sighs and her appearance changed. She becomes shorter, her ears become longer till they're pointy, her canines become longer. Her skin is pale white and her eyes are big, round, and black. She floats beside Kohra.
"Finally gave up the facade?"
"He's already on his way? Might as well" Alea's voice bears more tiredness.
"You guys should leave. Protect yourself. You'll just get hurt. Please, forgive me for not telling you for so long. It isn't something I can easily tell" she says to both Sol and Feri. They are both worried and hurt but they nod and leave.
"Are you ready to meet your betrothed and your master, daughter of the moon?"
"Ready as I'll ever be, goddess Kohra"
