He was much different than they imagined.
Orange hair, orange eyes, well build upper torso, sharp jaw and a beauty that was too good to be human. His hair was dancing wildly in the wind and he only wore a torn pant trouser. His feet was bare.
"You're awake" Alea said in a weak voice.
"Daughter of the moon" he said in a coarse voice. His eyes accessed her and they slid to Kohra beside her.
"An ascended goddess. Who are you?"
"I'm Kohra, the god hunter. This elf here was unjustly marked as your betrothed and I've come to free her"
"You have no right to take what's mine, lowly goddess" he snarled. She only smiled.
"I've come to learn that people aren't properties and shouldn't be treated as such. If you wanted to marry her, you should've at least wooed her. Not bind her to you, cause her bad luck, and ruin her life. If not for you, she would still be at home with her parents. Do you know what happens to elves that stay away for too long?"
When he doesn't reply, she replies herself.
"They wither away slowly. Their soul dies, denying them of reincarnation. They don't even get the chance to return to the earth, they just turn to ash. You ruined her life"
"It's not your business!"
"No, it's really not. At first I thought she was a willing servant of yours. But after I heard how you ruined her life, I couldn't stay away. Shall we dance, Ituli?" Kohra says with a huge grin.
A black bubble envelops Alea, giving her the same feeling of numbness. A huge flaming sword materializes in Ituli's hands and a huge scowl on his face. He stares at Kohra with so much hatred while Kohra just smirks in return.
As her weapon forms, she says to no one in particular:
"Stay away Lesker. Keep the children safe. I'll be fine"
Kohra's weapon is a scythe, which Alea deems appropriate. Their fight is too fast to follow but she could tell they possessed opposite energies. The reason Kohra could boldly fight an original god bare is that he just awoke from a seal so his powers are still a bit weak. She could match him blow for blow. She didn't have to worry about the effect on her kingdom.
As a deity, most of her powers went into creating a domain and protecting the kingdom. At that point, she was no different from an ordinary goddess.
Kohra was stronger than she looked. Her white gown is torn, burnt and obliterated in different places. Ituli's trouser was gradually becoming boxers.
They separate for a brief moment, breathing hard. They both look worse for wear.
"You're sucking my powers. That's awfully dumb for a goddess"
"You've been buried for too long to not know what a god hunter is. Unlike other gods, I don't have a divine spark. I have a cosmic spark which means I can absorb cosmic magix to grow stronger. The fight was really to drain you. Now to use your power against you"
Alea didn't know how Kohra did it but her magix doubled in size. Her scythe grew longer and her hair turned black. It gravitated along with magix around her.
"Let's continue" she says with a wold smirk. To Alea, it seemed the queen derived joy in fighting. Even though Ituli cut through her defenses, he thrashed her about, almost killed her, her maniacal grin never left her face.
"STOP! Please, stop fighting!" Alea yelled and the two halted. Kohra returned to Alea's side while Ituli stood a distance away from them.
"Oh, I forgot. Night elves are peaceful creatures. Don't you want him dead?"
"As if you're capable of that, god hunter" Ituli cuts in with a snort.
As much as Alea wanted Ituli to pay for all he had done to her, she didn't want him to die. He had basically done nothing. It was his followers that stole her life from her.
"What do you want from me?"
"To give me your virginity. That'll give me enough power to destroy those who sealed me"
"I don't have that anymore. My bad luck led me to a whore house"
"What????" His voice boomed all around.
Kohra broke out into a fit of laughter. She laughed so hard, she was wheezing and gasping for breath.
"You shot yourself in the foot Ituli. Hahaha. This is comedy gold" Kohra says, wiping out tears from the corner of her eyes.
Ituli let out a loud roar and Kohra used that opportunity to shoot a thin bolt of her magix at his chest. That severely weakened him and he lost all his strength. She captured him in a bubble like the one that contained Alea and it knocked him out right away.
"Is the mark gone?"
"Only the one for the sun. The rest are still there"
"Leave it then. If it still affects your life, then just go to the Principality of Soden. I have to warn you though, once they know you're an elf, they might never let you go"
"Where will you keep him?"
"I'm handing him over to the god council. They'll do something with him. They might just restrict him from coming to this planet again"
"Thank you Queen Kohra"
"You're welcome"
Kohra lowered herself slowly to the ground and fell in a man's arms. Alea watched as the man berated her for risking her life while Kohra just smiled.
"Alea, meet my husband. He's much of a worrywart. Lesker, that's Alea"
"Hello" they both said shyly.
As Lesker carted his wife away, it dawned on Alea that she could finally live a normal life. That fact both excited and terrified her.
