"He's um... Kai will be... His soul will be trapped in someone's body..." He exclaimed.
"What?! Who?! How is that even possible?! It sounds made up!" Mr. Beal roared with an overwhelming shock.
"It's just a possibility. Don't get too excited or you'll end up as he is."
"Is it just a slight chance or-"
"It's a fifty fifty. His soul or, his energy can travel through objects of matter, frequencies, and even light. Of course he never learned how to do that but it is... or was one of his abilities. By the looks of it, his body might have tried to protect him by putting him into the body of someone who is similar to him." Malcolm explained.
"Okay, okay... So, what do you mean similar to him? Do you mean similar in age or maybe... powers?" Mr. Beal asked.
"Well, I'm not for certain, but someone with a strong connection. Not emotionally, but with abilities like his."
"Like..." Mr. Beal hesitated.
"Auden. Like Auden." Malcolm said.
"What's gonna happen to him? Will he, die?"
"Now like I said it's just a possibility but he will be stuck inside his body. He would be in nothing but darkness and he would have no control. He would be there, but not there." He told him.
Mr. Beal was almost stunned. How could all of this even be real?! It was like being in a movie. He looked at me with a sorrowful look. After everything that had happened he wondered how he could still be so stunned. All he needed was one more crazy day before he'd feel crazy himself.
"What do we do?" He stood with a passionate look. His fists were clenched and he was prepared for what was to come.
"For now, we wait. I will preserve his body. That's all we can do." Malcolm was calm.
Mr. Beal let out a sigh. "Are you sure?" He asked.
"I'm positive." Malcolm assured him.
"No, there has to be something we can do!"
"Why do you always have to be so difficult? Accept the truth, there is nothing we can do! At least for now." He pushed his glasses up with his finger.
"Okay, if anything happens you tell me. Although I don't trust you, Doctor Malcolm, I know we both care about him." Mr. Beal began to walk away until something caught his attention.
"Who's blood is this?" He looked at the dry blood on the ground.
"A man who gets on every single one of my nerves. A criminal. A person who doesn't understand simple things. The man who shot Quinn. He's a killer." Malcolm replied.
Mr. Beal turned around. "Is he still alive?"
"It doesn't matter."
"Malcolm is he still alive?!" He was inpatient.
"Control your voice, John. Yes he is but it's none of your concern."
"Yes, it is. He shot Quinn, my family! It's my
business more then it is yours." He argued.
"Please, I'm the one who deals with him. I can get more information that I need. Because, I know how to get it." Malcolm exclaimed.
"Why are you like this? You always know what to do when anything would happen to Kai. You make up all these medicines and vaccines. You have what looks like the downgrade version of an evil lair. You don't consider other people's feelings and what's the worst thing is how it seems like you're apart of something bad. I've met Kai before he was in a coma, before he met you and he was not like the way he is now. You gave him those.. those powers, didn't you?! But what I know is that you did something and I'm going to find out what!" He yelled.
He walked away before Malcolm could say anything. "I knew I would have to get rid of him." Malcolm said.
