While Malcolm was busy in his creepy lab area and Mr. Beal was also busy their minds were focused on one thing, me.
Quinn and Auden were worried about what they had seen in Auden's dream. Auden knew it was only a matter of time before something else would happen. Something crazy. Something big. Their was nothing they could think of to stop the unpredictable. They all knew it deep down. So they we're constantly wondering, when? What will happen next?
A few more days went by and still Malcolm was kept in his lab. Other then that everything seemed normal. Until Auden had the same dream again. "Ahh!!" He yelled.
His eyes wide open. Quinn woke up wondering what was wrong. Although it didn't take long to figure it out. "It was that dream again wasn't it?" They had a puzzled look.
"Yeah it.. it was the same one." He answered.
Quinn embraced him in an attempt to calm him down or at least comfort him.
"I don't understand, Quinn. Why is this happening? Why can't I just be free of this?" His voice was shaky.
"I'm not sure. You never told me how you got your powers. Maybe if I knew their may be something I can do."
"But it won't fix anything. Nothing will."
"You're hiding it from me. You never want to tell me and I know there has to be a reason. Please, tell me. Honey, I promise, I love you more then anything. To love someone you need to be honest with each-other. So I beg you, babe, tell me." Quinn looked deeply into Auden's soft eyes. So much sorrow and hurt filled his eyes. Along with the warm teardrops.
"I... I can't.. I'm sorry, Quinn. I will but just.." He took control of his breathing with a long inhale and a sigh. "Just not yet.." He bit his lip and looked up at Quinn.
"It's okay, Auden. I'll wait as long as you need." They hugged again. Auden kissed their forehead so gently and soft.
Later that day he snuck out before Quinn could notice. He had a feeling he knew where the person he was looking for was. He went to the cemetery in search for me. Or more specifically where Malcolm was keeping me. He knew I wouldn't be let go that easily. Especially by Malcolm.
He found the crypt that read the words "Lilino" on it. "He has to be here." He thought.
He tried to open the door but it was locked. "Right, I should've known it would be locked. It's Malcolm after all." He looked around for a second until he noticed something. A large normal looking rock.
He walked up to it and hit it a few times. A small part of it came open like a little hidden door. "He still keeps it here, of course." Auden mumbled. He grabbed the key that was inside and used it to unlock the door. He went inside and walked down the old stone stairs.
He pulled the small gun out of his pocket and prepared for anything. Once he was in the lab no one was there. He opened one of the doors and saw me in a glass container filled with water. He looked into the other room and saw blood everywhere. He saw torcher devices and a man chained and passed out. He wasn't sure if he was dead or not.
He heard someone behind him and quickly turned around pointing the gun. He looked up in fear. "Malcolm!" He yelled in shock as he still held the gun up.
"It's good to see you again, Auden. Tell me, did you miss me?" He smirked.
