I woke up with my head feeling like it would explode. I tried to see where I was but I couldn't. I had a blind fold on. I was laying down in a chilly room on what felt like a metal table. I could feel hand cuffs wrapped around each wrist as I struggled to move. I didn't have any clothes on, except for my underwear. Then I heard a voice.
"Look who finally decided to wake up from a three day nap." Three days?! I thought to myself. I was asleep for three whole days. I was kidnapped once again! I couldn't tell what the voice sounded like. They we're using a voice box to cover up there voice. I was so nervous but I tried to stay calm. "Who are you?! What do you want with me?!" I yelled. "Relax, Kai. This will only sting a little."
"What are you- AHHH!!" I felt a blade start to cut me from the middle of my chest and down to my stomach. All I wanted was for my life to be simple. But, the burden of having special abilities weighed down on my life too much to give me even the slightest chance at a normal life. As I felt the blood flow out of my body all I could think about was, is this the end? Is this where my fate has led me too?
Am I gonna make it out alive? Finally they pulled the knife out. It hurt like hell too. "Why are you doing this?" I asked as a tear ran down my cheek.
"Don't worry, you'll heal soon." I began to feel a sensation where the cut was. It tingled a bit. It felt like magic. Like I was being tickled. As if fairy dust fell onto the cut and made everything stop hurting. Then it felt as if nothing happened at all. No more pain. No more blood running out. It was healed! How is that possible? I was so confused. Did it mean that they couldn't kill me? That I couldn't die? "Now time for round two." The person chuckled. "Round two?! No, please, just let me go!" I shouted. "AHHH!!!" They continued to cut me again. Over and over they kept cutting and it kept healing. Each time worse then the last. I could feel the blood everywhere. It was my worst nightmare. The pain was excruciating. I could feel the green glow as it burned like fire. But, as for them, it didn't seem like it phased them. Eventually, I passed out again.
In my dreams I saw black and blue. Similar to the swirls that had appeared after I broke the hospital window. That's all I saw in my dreams. I could hear screaming and cries for help. It scared me, but it was better then facing my reality. The one where I was cut over and over as I waited for it to end..
"WAKE UP!" I heard the same terrifying voice. I woke up on the same table, still blind folded. "P-please, just l-let me go." I was still weak, but I struggled to break free. It was a hopeless chance but I tried anyways. "Why would I let you go when we still have so much more to do!" They said. It was surprising how they seemed even crazier then Doctor Malcolm.
Back at the hospital, Malcolm paced around the room. He was so stressed about me disappearing. "The tracker I planted in him must've been taken out or something. There has to be a way to find him." He said to himself. "I can't lose another subject! I can't lose him!!" He yelled. "I-I won't. I can't! I will find you, Kai!" He searched his records and looked through documents. He proceeded to try a find something to figure out where I was. He looked over his computer and noticed that the system was breached. He had designed it to do what he needed. But, someone hacked the system. So, he clicked on it to see what it was. "System failure?! What kind of nonsense is that? How did someone get past the security I coded in? They must be pretty good at this." He popped his knuckles. "But I'm better." He then started to type in codes and access new things. "Come on, come on, work already!" He shouted. "I need to find you!!"
