Chapter 13 - Distraction.

I was sitting at the kitchen table with my parents across from me.

"So what exactly do you want to discuss with us?" my mother says wondering if there was something wrong.

"Well first off I have been keeping some secrets from you guys." I confess.

"Ooohhhkay and are they bad secrets?" my mother asks with narrowed eyes.

"No I don't think so?" I ponder and am pretty sure everything is okay well maybe except the moonshine still.

"And what would these secrets be?" my dad asked in a curious voice wondering what exactly a 6 year old could hide that's so important he was thinking maybe it was a pet or I broke something.

"okay first off your not allowed to yell at me or anything and you have to calmly listen." I tell them.

"We agree." they both say together I had always been very well behaved so it shouldn't be anything serious.

I grab both of them and with a woosh we are in my internal world and they are looking around in confusion.

"Did we just teleport?" my mom asked in shock.

"Well yes and no. I was given a kind of gift which is in the shape of this internal world so in a way you've teleported inside of my soul I guess." I try to find a way to explain it.

"So this whole world is inside of you?" my dad asks examining the farming patches and the little hut.

"Yep." I say with a smile.

"And how did you get this exactly?" my mother asks looking at the endless grass fields.

"Maybe I can explain it." comes Cassie's voice as she walks out of the hut.

"And who are you?" my mom asks warily standing in front of me.

Cassie let's out a chuckle. "You can think of me as a companion exactly like Sasha." She says as the little girl pops out of my shadow hearing her name then runs off to feed the chickens.

"Two companions? I don't think I've ever heard of that before." my dad remarks looking at the blonde woman.

Cassie leads them over to a wood lunch table and starts to explain about God's blessing and the rules of the world.

"So your saying our son was giving blessings by a divinity and you are his companion. That would probably explain his grimoire. So what is it you do?" my dad says seriously.

"Well I help Ryan to train and keep him company and help him get items in exchange for gold like the fruit seeds and such for all the plants grown here." she explains.

"And why haven't you shown yourself to us sooner?" my mother asks.

"Well how do you go about explaining things like this without being called crazy?" Cassie counters.

"That is true. So what can this world do exactly?" my mother asks.

"For now it just acts as a kind of safe haven Noone can enter or find it unless Ryan wants people to find it or let's them in. He can come here if he is ever in danger. Right now it's mostly used to grow fruits, herbs and spices, corn, and some chickens. However Ryan had an idea and recently expanded a bit and that's why he needs your help as he has things he wants to sell." she explains.

"And what is it that he wants to sell?"

"Alcohol." I say walking over and placing a crate on the table filled with alcohol.

"Your making alcohol?" my mother says with narrowed eyes.

My dad however looks at the jars curiously.

I pass the moonshine book over to my mother who takes it and quickly reads it.

"Yes I mean your trusting me with weapons and magic that can kill people and you don't think I'm mature enough to mix fruit juice, corn, and sugar together and light a fire crystal? That seems kind of silly." I point out a logical thing as they both think about it for a second.

"What makes you think you can sell this alcohol at all?" my dad asks eying the clear liquid.

"You know percentages right?" I ask getting a nod from them.

"Let's put it this way the alcohol you drink has 3% alcohol or so okay?" they nod following along.

"This has 75% alcohol one of these small jars is like drinking 25 of those beers you drink all at once and it has a fruity flavor." I take a lid of one sliding it over and the smell of strawberries and almost pure alcohol hit them in the face.

They both take a drink and choke a little. "Woo that's strong." My dad says with an appreciative look.

"I plan to sell this at the adventures guild with your help as most adventurers are idiots that like to drink and kill things." I explain and my mother nods.

"So you need your father's help as Noone would take a kid seriously?" my mother asks.

"Yep and i have a great plan that will 100% chance work." I say then slowly explain the plan and sure enough my parents are all in.

Mom however wants to help make my little world look better and invite Cassie to come talk with her to get to know her better which she happily agrees too. So Her, Sasha and Cassie are having a girls day.

While Me and dad pile the crates into a small wagon that Frank can pull behind him and make our way to the adventurer guild.
