As soon as Jason went into the house, he gave assistant Kwan a call.
"Is my new house ready?" Jason questioned
" Erh.. yes Master Wu. The gym has been finished and the pool will be ready the day after tomorrow." Assistant Kwan answered.
"I want it done Tomorrow. I'll be moving in the day after. Make sure it's finished." Jason said and hang up the phone.
Assistant Kwan felt like he was going to pass out. It had been less than a week since he was assigned to get Master Wu a new house but this was extremely difficult because of the list of qualifications for the house. Master Jason wanted a very secure house very similar to the one he lived in currently because that was what Karen was used to. If that was the only direction, he wouldn't have to suffer but the house also had to be less than an hour's drive from the head branch of Gallotel international, plus he needed it to have a gym and a swimming pool big enough for competitions and yet had a smaller training side for children and new swimmers. In the end he had to get a lot of remodeling done on the closest thing that he could find. There were contractors working day and night to get the house ready as soon as possible and new help had to be hired.Assistant Kwan had to personally oversee everything as well as doing all the usual office work. He was truly exhausted. He'd heard that things usually got better for assistants after the boss got married, but why were things only getting worse for him? He called the head contractor and gave him the bad news on their deadline.
Jason had suspected that things wouldn't be so easy for him, but he'd expected his grandfather to make a move before Karen's family. Although Karen didn't seem to be bothered by that Sheryl, it parents were another story, and Sheryl knowing where to find them meant that the parents would soon follow. Jason wasn't going to take any chances. Besides he needed some new facilities at home and also needed to avoid any trouble from his grandfather. He'd give Karen the needed serenity to get better.

On the day of the move, Jason took another rare day off, but the people working at his home didn't know that. Nanny Jo also had the day off and as far as they knew, Master Jason was taking the young lady to work with him. But the thing was that they never came back that day. All the workers were told that night that Master Jason had moved and that they'd continue to be paid for their work in maintaining the house over the phone.
Jason had taken Karen over to their new home in a very secure neighborhood that not just anyone could enter. Nanny Jo had also moved in with them. Growing up, Jason had lived with Nanny Jo even when he moved out of the Wu estate she had left with him. But she had decided to move out when he left for college since he wasn't at home for long periods of time. Now however, even when he was at work there was still Karen who needed her care.
All the help and guards in this mansion were new and carefully selected by Assistant Kwan. Brook the driver was the only other person who had moved along with them and he had left the house a week before in order to remove suspicion that would prompt the Old master. After all, he was especially selected by Jason to be trained to better service when he was only 15. Like Assistant Kwan, he was completely loyal to Jason alone. Jason had spent the whole day at home to help Karen get used to the new place faster and feel at home. He had also gone swimming with her in the remodeled pool.
It seemed she wasn't new to swimming at all because after a little bit of uncertainty at the beginning, she was floating around like a fish very soon. She also enjoyed it a lot.

That evening, Jason went to see Master Zhou. Master Zhou was a Martial arts and weapons expert who had taught Jason and Brook everything they knew about Attack and defense. Jason's grandfather had brought him to master Zhou ever since his parents died. Before then he had been taught martial arts from a young age, but never as aggressively and profoundly as Master Zhou taught him. Besides he was taught far more than to defend himself, he was also taught how to use weapons and poison which he had never taken a liking to. Fortunately Brook had a specialty when it came to poisons. He was also taught methods of investigation, torture and questioning.
Jason entered Master Zhou's dojo with Brook on his heels. They were met with the familiar scent of a particular type of incense mixed with sandalwood
