Young master Wu, The Old master is waiting for you." Butler Yang stated.
Jason was standing in front of the main branch building of Gallotel international.
He had just been about to enter his car. Jason had known this was coming, but he'd wanted to make his own decisions without feeling like some one was breathing down his neck. He turned to look at butler Yang then got into his car.
"The Wu estate" Jason commanded and Brook complied, turning the car in that direction.
When he arrived, Old Master Wu was sitting down with a cup of tea.
Jason went and stood before him.
"You should take a seat, or are you just too eager to leave and go attend your wife?"
Jason gave a nod then sat down giving away nothing on his face.
"What kind of International business man doesn't travel at all for a period of six months? You're really testing the strength of your control over the foreign branches. I handed this business over to you to preserve the family legacy not to ruin it." Old Master Wu completed.
"The situation in the Philippines isn't going to fix itself and yet, here you are, allowing some one to steal the Wus' money!" Old master Wu continued
"So you're sure Daniel Chua has lost loyalty?".Jason asked. He was wondering which informant kept his grandfather so updated on the matters in the Philippines.
"Daniel Chua" The Old master spat out. "He's always been too headstrong and ambitious. If he didn't do his job so well I would have long gotten rid of him. But here he is actually stealing. Huff! " old Master Wu hurrumphed in exasperation.
"Fine, I'll head to the Philippines the day after tomorrow." Jason countered.
" Why not tomorrow Jason Wu? " The Old master questioned observing Jason as he took a sip of his tea.
" The day after tomorrow. Goodbye Master Wu." Jason answered leaving the room.
Old Master Wu sighed. Sometimes, he wondered if he shouldn't have been too strict on Jason. He didn't even call him grandfather anymore. Old Master Wu sighed again. This is why he wanted Jason to get a wife, so he could shower her with affection and have more excuses to spend time with his grandson and maybe even great grandchildren, but it had achieved the opposite effect. He couldn't even his granddaughter in law or his grandson at all. Even when he went to visit, Jason kept the girl in the room, making sure he never got to see her. He was getting lonelier by the day.
Butler Yang who had been watching the old master sigh with sadness was curious.
"Old master, why did your original plan fail? "
"Because the girl Jason married, he seems to want to protect her from the whole world and even from me!" Old master Wu answered
"Well that was because she was unwell right? What if I she was perfectly fine? Would Master Jason still need to keep her in a cage?" Butler Yang asked
" Is she fine?" Old master Wu asked.
" Tomorrow Jason will send her to the hospital for a check up. So far she has become very normal"
" Get me the reports for tomorrow" Old master Wu commanded

When Jason got home, Karen was sitting at the front door using a stick to draw around on the ground looking bored. The minute the familiar Maybach drove into the compound she hopped up in excitement. Jason wasn't happy to see her on his doorstep. It meant that she wanted something.
"Young master Wu" Karen cooed to him when he arrived in front of her. " No, it's CEO Wu"
"What is it Karen you better just come out and say it." Jason shrugged heading into the house.
"Erm.. Jason. Can't... Can't we go out to the amusement park, or just the aquarium or something?"
Jason had known this was coming. Lately, she kept suggesting that she wanted to leave the house.
"So you want to leave the house?" Jason asked
Karen nodded repeatedly.
"Fine, we'll go out tomorrow" Jason announced.
Karen was so excited. She wasn't unhappy staying with Jason. On the contrary it was the happiest shed been in a very long time but she still didn't like being at home every day. Her past experience made her hate not being able to get outside, but although she could go around this large compound, it just wasn't the same. She yearned for the feeling of freedom.
She went after Jason following him into their bedroom.
"So where will we be going? The amusement park? The aquarium? If you weren't busy we could even go hiking and camping." Jason turned to her. She had followed him into his dressing room even after he had taken off his suit and tie and was unbuttoning his shirt. He pushed her out of the dressing room and closed the door, turning the lock he'd made sure was installed to keep Karen out.
At first he didn't bother and undressed even if she was there. But he actually caught her grinning stupidly once and he realised she knew exactly what she was doing watching him go naked. Which was confirmed as she 'accidentally' entered his dressing room a lot of times when he had just taken a shower and she was well enough to understand that he was probably naked. She'd just walk in and say. "Oops," with a big grin on her face. Once she had even admitted it saying " What can I do? I really like looking at beautiful things". What a boldfaced girl. He could not condone it anymore and had gotten the lock placed. The day he had it placed, she had called him, "Stingy".
