"It's just an ice-cream," he said, "Didn't I help you sleep yesterday? Can't you do it to me as a favour that?"
Hearing his words, Jung Chaerin's eyes fell on the ice-cream in his hand, and extending her hand towards her, she accepted the ice-cream from him. Seeing that, his eyes sparkled with hope in them, but that extinguished with her next action.
Turning to her left, Chaerin threw the ice-cream inside the trashcan before coldly looking at Ryu Seyoon. Seyoon's eyes widened at her while there was a slight disappointment present in them.
"I don't what impression you have of me, but the last thing you can expect from me is to be someone sweet and easy to get along with. I am not here to play games with you.
This is the last time I will be tolerating such behaviour," she said, "I have hired you and am not restricting your personal life completely. That's why, please know how to maintain yourself. There are only limited number of times I am able to look past it."
Removing her stern gaze from him, she stood up, and turning her back on him, she began to walk away from the scene, paying no attention how he felt about it.
She was not someone he could befriend, and it was necessary she made that line between them clear if he went too far. There was no softer approach to this.
Seeing the woman's distancing figure, he mumbled, "It appears that this is too forceful for her as well. Just be a little more patient with her, Ryu Seyoon."

Jung Chaerin closed her laptop, and staring at her watch, she read the time. Her car was still parked outside of the amusement park, and until now, she was seated inside her car, working on her laptop.
Turning her head, she stared outside of the window and noticed the sun that was starting to set. Various colours beautifully spread across the sky, creating a pleasant scene, and staring at the sky, Chaerin found herself unable to look away from it.
She wondered how long had it been since she had managed to watch the sunset properly.
Shaking her head at the nonsensical thoughts that began to fill her mind, she extended her hand towards the door's handle and pushed it open.
Realizing that Ryu Seyoon hadn't returned until now, she decided to look for the male for it was the time for her to return home now.
There was an instant she thought about returning home on her own, but the guilt within her prevented her from doing so. Regardless of how emotionless she was, she knew how to feel, and at times, she tend to be more sensitive than others.
It was merely that she was not good at expressing them neither did she want to learn that. For her, things were fine that way. As long as no one became close to her— with Kang Minseok being an exception— she will be fine.
That's how the things had been and she wanted for them to remain as.
