Chapter 31 - Chapter 10: What is in an Archer?

It had been three months since Akira had left his house in Handel. For Akira the last three months had been full of adventure and trials mainly having to deal with the constant arguing between Morgan, Ella, and Mia they'd always get into it, but they themselves had changed during this time as well. With Summer just starting Akira had made new outfits for each of them with their dresses being created to keep their ability to move, but making it that they wouldn't over heat in the summer. With Ella having a dress with a short hem being close to a high school girls uniform skirt from Japan and the top half had shorter sleeves and her neck line was lower as well, but not as low as Mia's. Mia's dress had been given a makeover as well with the same thing a shorter hem, but she now had no sleeves with only straps. It wasn't Akira's wanted for a design, but it was what Mia wanted the opening he'd made in the first dress was still there but with now that she only had straps near her neck the opening was now bigger he'd fortunately escaped Morgan and Ella's wrath during Mia's reveal of her in the new dress. Morgan's was a bit different like the rest it had a shorter hem line but with it being a skirt with her having it in a separate top that she wore a breast plate over she ditch the hood and cloak so as to not over heat. The only thing Akira did was remove his coat and gave himself gloves and sunglasses beside that he still wore his jeans and boots and he was wearing a light grey t-shirt. They had been leveling up along the way with Mia, Ella, and Morgan now reaching level 70 with more powerful enemies being taken out by Akira with his level now standing at 5,235 he was close to matching Lucifer, but far away from matching Azazel who he feared above all else. They finally reached the border between the Asir Kingdom and the Kingdom of Vanir. "So why are we heading to Vanir Sojiro you never told us?" "Well I thought it's time we saw someplace ne..." he turned to see them all staring at him with a look that said 'tell use the truth or will continue hell!' "Ok I want to find an elven archer." "Wait why do you want to find them aren't you good with that bow already Akira?" "Not really I only know one arrow that being Godly Arrow which means I'm not using the bow to it's full potential." "Really wow that's kind of sad Sojiro." "Says the combat mage that need me to teach her high level combat spells. Anyway I heard a town near the border had a tavern frequented by elves so its a good place to start." "Ok what's the town called?" "Äventyrare it's a guild hub on the border hence why it's the perfect place to find an elf capable of teaching me more arrows." "And maybe we can find someone who teaches mages new spell I mean Ella and Mia could use some more in their Arsenal and so could I." "Alright then will split up and meet at the tavern when you girls are done sound good?" "Ok" with that they parted ways when they reached the town. Akira had been to a bunch of taverns since their travels had begun, but the place was a wreck glass bottles were every where and the whole place smelled of booze and vomit. For a tavern that catered to adventurers this place was a pig sty and he could barley hear himself think with all the noises of bottles breaking and laughter he looked to one table and standing on it was a young woman who looked around 19 she seemed unstable and was most likely heavily intoxicated with booze her outfit was a short skirt with a top. Over that was a combo of leather and metal armor on her arms and legs and her top was form fitting and she wore a breast plate over her top and by the looks of it she was using the form fitting outfit to distract from her chest size. She had piercing green eyes and her hair was was blonde and tied into a bun in the back. Thanks to that he could see her ears and no mistaken it she was an elf and across from her at table was someone sitting by herself she was clearly trying her hardest to keep her gaze from the elf on the table. She was wearing some type of short dress with a window similar to Mia's dress her outfit was also form fitting more to accent her big chest and she wore a rangers cape over it. He couldn't see her hair but he could see her storm grey eyes. "Come Sue you can't just *hic* stay by yourself over there." "I can do whatever I want you drunker." Akira was curious of the their relationship, but that wasn't important he had to find someone who could teach him. That's when he noticed that the girl at the table had a bow with her so he went to the barkeep. "Hey is that girl over there some type of archer?" "Your joking right? She's a simple bow user and a poor excuse for an elf." "Wait she's an elf to?" "Ya but not a good one if she can't raise her bow skill past level 5!" Akira didn't mind as he was looking for anyone willing to teach him anything. He walked over to the table she looked at him worryingly "So I hear your an elf archer." "Ya so you come here to mock me to?" "Mock you why would I do that?" "Your not from around this country are you?" "No I'm not." "Then never mind why are you interested in me?" "Well I'm looking for someone who can teach me the basics of archer and I wanted to ask you if you would train me?" "Wait you want me to teach you in archery?" "Yes." "Me?" "Yes." "You really are not from here." "And why would that matter?" "Because I'm not know for being a good archer infact I'm not anything more then a failure to everyone." Akira had no idea what that meant, but still he wanted to press forward. "Look I just need someone to teach me some new arrows so I can be a better archer." "I don't..." "Hey what are you doing here Sue?" A group of Elven archers enter the tavern they looked in their direction with disgust and out of the corner of his eye he could see a look of fear indifference from Sue. Akira decide to say the first words. "Hello I'm an adventurer from another land and I was just asking Sue about training me in archery." The other elf's paused for a second. "Are you being serious?" "Yes I'm being serious." At which point the elf's started laughing. This confirmed Akira's suspicion. "You guys don't have to be like that I wasn't going to agree to it!" "Well ya your pathetic with a bow all you can do is read those stupid books about the multiple arrows types, you wouldn't even be able to train a walnut." Akira could see Sue's anger building so he stood up with his fist clenched. "So you don't see talent that she could posses?" "What talent all she's good for is what's under that..." Sue was about to punch the elf in front of her, however she soon had Akira's boot between her legs she fell to the ground holding her crotch Sue was holding the urge to laugh. The other Elf's looked at Akira in anger, but he only crossed his arms and glared at them. "So you guys think your better then her well then prove it do how I will put you through a trial and if you beat her I'll ask for one of your help however I only want your three best archer oh and I should worn you that this might be deadly."
